Jezekiel 25

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

2 Son of man, set your face steadfastly against the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;

Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.

3 and you shall say to the children of Ammon, Hear you the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord; Forasmuch as you have rejoiced against my sanctuary, because it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, because it was laid waste; and against the house of Juda, because they went into captivity;

Y dirás a los hijos de Ammón: Oíd palabra del Señor Jehová: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijiste: Hala, sobre mi santuario, que fue profanado; y sobre la tierra de Israel, que fue asolada; y sobre la casa de Judá, porque anduvieron a cautividad:

4 therefore, behold, I [will] deliver you to the children of Kedem for an inheritance, and they shall lodge in you with their stuff, and they shall pitch their tents in you: they shall eat your fruits, and they shall drink your milk.

Por tanto he aquí que yo te entrego a los orientales por heredad; y pondrán sus palacios en ti, y pondrán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.

5 And I will give up the city of Ammon for camels' pastures, and the children of Ammon for a pasture of sheep: and you shall know that I am the Lord.

Y pondré, a Rabbat por habitación de camellos, y a los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

6 For thus says the Lord; Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with your foot, and heartily rejoiced against the land of Israel;

Porque así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste de ánimo en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel:

7 therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a spoil to the nations; and I will utterly destroy you from amongst the peoples, and I will completely cut you off from out of the countries: and you shall know that I am the Lord.

Por tanto he aquí que yo extendí mi mano sobre ti, y yo te entregaré a las gentes para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: yo te raeré, y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.

8 Thus says the Lord; Because Moab has said, Behold, are not the house of Israel and Juda like all the [other] nations?

Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo Moab y Seir: He aquí, la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes.

9 Therefore, behold, I will weaken the shoulder of Moab from his frontier cities, [even] the choice land, the house of Bethasimuth above the fountain of the city, by the sea-side.

Por tanto he aquí que yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su fin, las tierras deseables de Bet-jesimot, y Baal-meón, y Cariataim,

10 I have given him the children of Kedem in addition to the children of Ammon for an inheritance, that there may be no remembrance of the children of Ammon.

Los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y yo la entregaré por heredad, para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las naciones.

11 And I will execute vengeance on Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

12 Thus says the Lord; Because of what the Idumeans have done in taking vengeance on the house of Juda, and [because they] have remembered injuries, and have exacted full recompense;

Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo Edom cuando hizo venganza contra la casa de Judá, que pecaron pecando, y se vengaron de ellos:

13 therefore thus says the Lord; I will also stretch out my hand upon Idumea, and will utterly destroy out of it man and beast; and will make it desolate; and they that are pursued out of Thaeman shall fall by the sword.

Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: desde Temán y Dedán caerán a cuchillo.

14 And I will execute my vengeance on Idumea by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall deal in Idumea according to mine anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord.

Y pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo, y según mi ira; y conocerán mi venganza, dijo el Señor Jehová.

15 Therefore thus says the Lord, Because the Philistines have wrought revengefully, and raised up vengeance rejoicing from their heart to destroy [the Israelites] to a man;

Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los Palestinos con venganza cuando hicieron venganza con menosprecio de ánimo, hasta destrucción de enemistades perpetuas:

16 therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and will utterly destroy the Cretans, and will cut off the remnant that dwell by the sea-coast.

Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los Cereteos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought my vengeance upon them.

Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.
