< Exodus 9 >

1 And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharao, and you shall say to him, These things says the Lord God of the Hebrews; Send my people away that they may serve me.
Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya, “Dhi ir Farao mondo iwachne kama: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasach jo-Hibrania wacho: “We joga odhi mondo olama!”
2 If however you will not send my people away, but yet detain them:
To ka itamori weyogi mondo gidhi kendo isiko kiketogi e tich misumba,
3 behold, the hand of the Lord shall be upon your cattle in the fields, both on the horses, and on the asses, and on the camels and oxen and sheep, a very great mortality.
to lwet Jehova Nyasaye biro kelo tho ne jamni mantiere lek kaka fareseni kod pundeni, ngamia magi kaachiel gi dhogi, rombegi kod dieki.
4 And I will make a marvellous distinction in that time between the cattle of the Egyptians, and the cattle of the children of Israel: nothing shall die of all that is of the children's of Israel.
To Jehova Nyasaye biro keto pogruok kuom jamb jo-Israel kod mago mag jo-Misri mi onge chiach ja-Israel moro amora ma biro tho.’”
5 And God fixed a limit, saying, To-morrow the Lord will do this thing on the land.
Jehova Nyasaye noketo odiechiengʼ ma gigo notimre kowacho kama: “Kiny Jehova Nyasaye notim ma e pinyni.”
6 And the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the cattle of the Egyptians died, but of the cattle of the children of Israel there died not one.
Kendo kinyne Jehova Nyasaye notimo kamano. Jamni duto mag jo-Misri notho, to onge jamb ja-Israel kata achiel mane otho.
7 And when Pharao saw, that of all the cattle of the children of Israel there died not one, the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
Kane Farao ooro ji mondo onon wachno, to negiyudo kaonge kata achiel kuom jamb jo-Israel mane otho. To kata kamano wi Farao nomedo bedo matek mine ok onyal weyo ogandano mondo odhi.
8 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, Take you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses scatter it towards heaven before Pharao, and before his servants.
Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa kod Harun niya, “Jukuru buch kendo mopongʼo lwetu mondo Musa okire e kor yamo e nyim Farao.
9 And let it become dust over all the land of Egypt, and there shall be upon men and upon beasts sore blains breaking forth both on men and on beasts, in all the land of Egypt.
Obiro lokore buru mayom e piny Misri duto kendo buche malokore adhola biro gore kuom ji kaachiel gi jamni e piny duto.”
10 So he took of the ashes of the furnace before Pharao, and Moses scattered it towards heaven, and it became sore blains breaking forth both on men and on beasts.
Kuom mano ne gijuko buch kendo mi gichungʼ e nyim Farao. Musa nokiro buru e kor yamo kendo buche malokore adhola nogore kuom ji kod jamni.
11 And the sorcerers could not stand before Moses because of the sores, for the sores were on the sorcerers, and in all the land of Egypt.
Ajuoke ne ok nyal chungʼ e nyim Musa nikech buche mane ni kuomgi kaachiel gi jo-Misri duto.
12 And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart, and he listened not to them, as the Lord appointed.

13 And the Lord said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharao; and you shall say to him, These things says the Lord God of the Hebrews, Send away my people that they may serve me.
Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya, “Chiew okinyi mangʼich, idhi ir Farao kendo inyise kama: ‘Ma e gima Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasach jo-Hibrania wacho: We joga odhi olama.
14 For at this present time do I send forth all my plagues into your heart, and the heart of your servants and of your people; that you may know that there is not another such as I in all the earth.

17 Do you then yet exert yourself to hinder my people, so as not to let them go?

19 Now then hasten to gather your cattle, and all that you have in the fields; for all the men and cattle as many as shall be found in the fields, and shall not enter into a house, (but the hail shall fall upon them, ) shall die.
Chiw chik mondo jambu kaachiel gi gimoro amora ma un-go e pap okel kar tony, nikech pe biro chwer kuom ngʼato angʼata kata le moro amora ma pod ni oko ma ok odonjo e kar tony mi githo.’”
20 He of the servants of Pharao that feared the word of the Lord, gathered his cattle into the houses.
Jodong Farao-go ma noluoro wach Jehova Nyasaye noreto mondo okel wasumbinigi kaachiel gi jambgi e kar tony.
21 And he that did not attend in his mind to the word of the Lord, left the cattle in the fields.

22 And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand to heaven, and there shall be hail on all the land of Egypt, both on the men and on the cattle, and on all the herbage on the land.
Eka Jehova Nyasaye nowacho ne Musa niya, “Rie badi kochomo polo mondo pe ochwe e piny Misri duto; kochwe kuom ji, le kod gimoro amora madongo e puothe mag Misri.”
23 And Moses stretched forth his hand to heaven, and the Lord sent thunderings and hail; and the fire ran along upon the ground, and the Lord rained hail on all the land of Egypt.
Ka Musa norieyo ludhe kochomo polo, Jehova Nyasaye nooro mor polo gi pe kendo polo nomil koni gi koni, kuom mano Jehova Nyasaye noolo pe e piny Misri.

27 And Pharao sent and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: the Lord [is] righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
Eka Farao noluongo Musa gi Harun. Nowachonegi niya, “Koro aseketho. Jehova Nyasaye ni kare, to an kaachiel gi joga wasetimo richo.
28 Pray then for me to the Lord, and let him cause the thunderings of God to cease, and the hail and the fire, and I will send you forth and you shall remain no longer.

29 And Moses said to him, When I shall have departed from the city, I will stretch out my hands to the Lord, and the thunderings shall cease, and the hail and the rain shall be no longer, that you may know that the earth [is] the Lord's.
Musa nodwoko niya, “Ka asewuok oko mar dala, abiro yaro bada ka akwayo Jehova Nyasaye. Polo mamor biro rumo bende pe ok nochak ochwe kendo, mondo ingʼe ni piny en mar Jehova Nyasaye.
30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you have not yet feared the Lord.

31 And the flax and the barley were struck, for the barley was advanced, and the flax was seeding.
(Tworo gi shairi nokethore chuth, nimar noyudo ka shairi oseketo wangʼe, to tworo nosethiewo.
32 But the wheat and the rye were not struck, for they were late.
Ngano to ne ok okethore nimar ne pok gimoyo.)
33 And Moses went forth from Pharao out of the city, and stretched out his hands to the Lord, and the thunders ceased and the hail, and the rain did not drop on the earth.
Eka Musa noweyo Farao mi gidhi oko mar dala. Noyaro bade ni Jehova Nyasaye, mi mor polo kod pe norumo kendo koth bende ne ok ochwe e piny.
34 And when Pharao saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders ceased, he continued to sin; and [he] hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants.

35 And the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he did not send forth the children of Israel, as the Lord said to Moses.
