Exodus 36
1 And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
Og Besalel og Oholiab og alle kunstforstandige menn, som Herren hadde gitt forstand og kunnskap, så de forstod sig på alt det arbeid som skulde til for å få helligdommen ferdig, gjorde i ett og alt som Herren hadde sagt.
2 And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
For Moses kalte Besalel og Oholiab og alle kunstforstandige menn, som Herren hadde gitt kunstnergaver, alle hvis hjerte drev dem, til å skride til verket for å fullføre det.
3 And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
Og de fikk hos Moses hele den gave som Israels barn hadde båret frem til det arbeid som skulde utføres for å få helligdommen ferdig. Men folket bar fremdeles frivillige gaver frem til ham hver morgen.
4 And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
Da kom alle de kunstforstandige menn som utførte alt arbeidet ved helligdommen, enhver fra det arbeid han var i ferd med,
5 And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
og de sa til Moses: Folket bærer frem meget mere enn det trenges til det arbeid som Herren har befalt å fullføre.
6 And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labour for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
Da lot Moses rope ut i hele leiren: Ingen, hverken mann eller kvinne, skal lenger bære noget frem som gave til helligdommen! Så holdt folket op med å bære frem gaver.
7 And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
Men det som var gitt, var nok til hele det arbeid som skulde fullføres, ja mere enn nok.
8 And every wise one amongst those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Så gjorde da alle de kunstforstandige blandt dem som var med i arbeidet, tabernaklet av ti tepper; av fint, tvunnet lingarn og blå og purpurrød og karmosinrød ull blev de gjort med kjeruber på i kunstvevning.
9 And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Hvert teppe var åtte og tyve alen langt og fire alen bredt; alle teppene holdt samme mål.
10 And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
Fem av teppene festet de sammen, det ene til det andre, og likeså de andre fem tepper.
11 shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
Og de gjorde hemper av blå ull i kanten på det ene teppe, ytterst der hvor sammenfestingen skulde være; likeså gjorde de i kanten på det ytterste teppe, der hvor den andre sammenfesting skulde være.
12 They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
Femti hemper gjorde de på det ene teppe, og femti hemper gjorde de ytterst på det teppe som var der hvor den andre sammenfesting skulde være; hempene var like mot hverandre, den ene mot den andre.
13 and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
Og de gjorde femti gullkroker og festet teppene til hverandre med krokene, så tabernaklet blev et sammenhengende telt.
14 and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
Så gjorde de tepper av gjetehår til et dekke over tabernaklet; elleve sådanne tepper gjorde de.
15 And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Hvert teppe var tretti alen langt og fire alen bredt; alle de elleve tepper holdt samme mål.
16 They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
Og de festet fem av teppene sammen for sig og seks for sig.
17 And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
De gjorde femti hemper i kanten på det ene teppe, ytterst der hvor sammenfestingen skulde være, og likeså femti hemper i kanten på det andre teppe, der hvor sammenfestingen skulde være.
18 and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
Og de gjorde femti kobberkroker til å feste teppene sammen med så det blev ett dekke.
19 and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
Over dekket gjorde de et varetak av rødfarvede værskinn og ovenpå det et varetak av takasskinn.
20 and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
Plankene til tabernaklet gjorde de av akasietre og reiste dem på ende.
21 And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
Hver planke var ti alen lang og halvannen alen bred.
22 And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
På hver planke var det to tapper, med en tverrlist imellem; således gjorde de med alle plankene til tabernaklet.
23 and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
Og av plankene som de gjorde til tabernaklet, reiste de tyve planker på den side som vendte mot syd;
24 And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
og firti fotstykker av sølv gjorde de til å sette under de tyve planker, to fotstykker under hver planke til å feste begge tappene i.
25 and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
Likeså gjorde de tyve planker til tabernaklets andre side, den som vendte mot nord,
26 And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
og til dem firti fotstykker av sølv, to fotstykker under hver planke.
27 And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
Til baksiden av tabernaklet, mot vest, gjorde de seks planker.
28 And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
Og to planker gjorde de til tabernaklets hjørner på baksiden;
29 And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
de var dobbelte nedenfra og likeledes begge dobbelte helt op, til den første ring; således gjorde de med dem begge på begge hjørnene.
30 And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
Således blev det åtte planker med sine fotstykker av sølv - seksten fotstykker, to under hver planke.
31 And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be tore.
Så gjorde de tverrstenger av akasietre, fem til plankene på den ene side av tabernaklet
32 And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
og fem til plankene på den andre side, og fem til plankene på baksiden av tabernaklet, mot vest.
33 And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
Og den mellemste tverrstang satte de således at den gikk tvert over midt på plankeveggen, fra den ene ende til den andre.
34 a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Plankene klædde de med gull, og ringene på dem, som tverrstengene skulde stikkes i, gjorde de helt av gull; tverrstengene klædde de også med gull.
35 And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
Så gjorde de forhenget av blå og purpurrød og karmosinrød ull og fint, tvunnet lingarn; de gjorde det i kunstvevning med kjeruber på.
36 and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
Og de gjorde fire stolper av akasietre til forhenget og klædde dem med gull; hakene på dem var av gull, og de støpte fire fotstykker av sølv til dem.
37 and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
Til teltdøren gjorde de et teppe av blå og purpurrød og karmosinrød ull og fint, tvunnet lingarn med utsydd arbeid,
38 And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
og til teppet fem stolper med sine haker, og de klædde stolpehodene og stengene med gull; og til stolpene gjorde de fem fotstykker av kobber.
39 and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
40 And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
