Exodus 30

1 And you shall make the altar of incense of incorruptible wood.

Και θέλεις κάμει θυσιαστήριον διά να θυμιάζης θυμίαμα· εκ ξύλου σιττίμ θέλεις κάμει αυτό.

2 And you shall make it a cubit in length, and a cubit in breadth: it shall be square; and the height of it shall be of two cubits, its horns shall be of the same piece.

μιας πήχης το μήκος αυτού και μιας πήχης το πλάτος αυτού τετράγωνον θέλει είσθαι και δύο πηχών το ύψος αυτού τα κέρατα αυτού εκ του αυτού.

3 And you shall gild its grate with pure gold, and its sides round about, and its horns; and you shall make for it a wreathen border of gold roundabout.

Και θέλεις περικαλύψει αυτό με χρυσίον καθαρόν, την κορυφήν αυτού και τα πλάγια αυτού κύκλω και τα κέρατα αυτού και θέλεις κάμει εις αυτό στεφάνην χρυσήν κύκλω.

4 And you shall make under its wreathen border two rings of pure gold; you shall make it to the two corners on the two sides, and they shall be bearings for the staves, so as to bear it with them.

Και δύο χρυσούς κρίκους θέλεις κάμει εις αυτό υπό την στεφάνην αυτού· πλησίον των δύο γωνιών αυτού επί τα δύο πλάγια αυτού θέλεις κάμει αυτούς, και θέλουσιν είσθαι θήκαι των μοχλών, ώστε να βαστάζωσιν αυτό δι' αυτών.

5 And you shall make the staves of incorruptible wood, and shall gild them with gold.

Και θέλεις κάμει τους μοχλούς εκ ξύλου σιττίμ, και θέλεις περικαλύψει αυτούς με χρυσίον.

6 And you shall set it before the veil that is over the ark of the testimonies, wherein I will make myself known to you from thence.

Και θέλεις βάλει αυτό απέναντι του καταπετάσματος του ενώπιον της κιβωτού του μαρτυρίου, αντικρύ του ιλαστηρίου του επί του μαρτυρίου, όπου θέλω εμφανίζεσθαι εις σε.

7 And Aaron shall burn upon it fine compound incense every morning; whenever he trims the lamps he shall burn incense upon it.

Και θέλει θυμιάζει ο Ααρών επ' αυτού θυμίαμα ευώδες καθ' εκάστην πρωΐαν· όταν ετοιμάζη τους λύχνους, θέλει θυμιάζει επ' αυτού.

8 And when Aaron lights the lamps in the evening, he shall burn incense upon it; a constant incense-offering always before the Lord for their generations.

Και όταν ανάπτη ο Ααρών τους λύχνους το εσπέρας, θέλει θυμιάζει επ' αυτού, θυμίαμα παντοτεινόν ενώπιον του Κυρίου εις τας γενεάς σας.

9 And you shall not offer strange incense upon it, [nor] and offering made by fire, [nor] a sacrifice; and you shall not pour a drink-offering upon it.

δεν θέλετε προσφέρει επ' αυτού ξένον θυμίαμα ουδέ ολοκαύτωμα ουδέ προσφοράν εξ αλφίτων ουδέ θέλετε χύσει επ' αυτού σπονδήν.

10 And once in the year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns, he shall purge it with the blood of purification for their generations: it is most holy to the Lord.

Και θέλει κάμνει ο Ααρών εξιλέωσιν επί των κεράτων αυτού άπαξ του ενιαυτού με το αίμα της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς της εξιλεώσεως· άπαξ του ενιαυτού θέλει κάμνει εξιλέωσιν επ' αυτού εις τας γενεάς σας· τούτο είναι αγιώτατον προς τον Κύριον.

11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,

12 If you take account of the children of Israel in the surveying of them, and they shall give every one a ransom for his soul to the Lord, then there shall not be amongst them a destruction in the visiting of them.

Όταν λαμβάνης το κεφάλαιον των υιών Ισραήλ κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, τότε θέλουσι δώσει πας άνθρωπος λύτρον διά την ψυχήν αυτού προς τον Κύριον, όταν απαριθμής αυτούς, διά να μη επέλθη πληγή επ' αυτούς, όταν απαριθμής αυτούς·

13 And this is what they shall give, as many as pass the survey, half a didrachm which is according to the didrachm of the sanctuary: twenty oboli [go to] the didrachm, but the half of the didrachm is the offering to the Lord.

τούτο θέλουσι δίδει πας όστις περνά εις την απαρίθμησιν, ήμισυ του σίκλου κατά τον σίκλον του αγίου· ο σίκλος είναι είκοσι γερά· ήμισυ του σίκλου θέλει είσθαι η προσφορά του Κυρίου.

14 Every one that passes the survey from twenty years old and upwards shall give the offering to the Lord.

πας όστις περνά εις την απαρίθμησιν, από είκοσι ετών ηλικίας και επάνω, θέλει δώσει προσφοράν εις τον Κύριον.

15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than the half didrachm in giving the offering to the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.

Ο πλούσιος δεν θέλει δώσει πλειότερον, και ο πτωχός δεν θέλει δώσει ολιγώτερον ημίσεος σίκλου, όταν δίδωσι την προσφοράν εις τον Κύριον διά να κάμωσιν εξιλέωσιν υπέρ των ψυχών υμών.

16 And you shall take the money of the offering from the children of Israel, and shall give it for the service of the tabernacle of testimony; and it shall be to the children of Israel a memorial before the Lord, to make atonement for your souls.

Και θέλεις λάβει το αργύριον της εξιλεώσεως παρά των υιών Ισραήλ, και θέλεις μεταχειρισθή αυτό εις την υπηρεσίαν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου, και θέλει είσθαι εις τους υιούς Ισραήλ εις μνημόσυνον ενώπιον του Κυρίου, διά να γείνη εξιλέωσις υπέρ των ψυχών υμών.

17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,

18 Make a brazen laver, and a brazen base for it, for washing; and you shall put it between the tabernacle of witness and the altar, and you shall pour forth water into it.

Και θέλεις κάμει νιπτήρα χάλκινον και την βάσιν αυτού χαλκίνην, διά να νίπτωνται και θέλεις θέσει αυτόν μεταξύ της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και του θυσιαστηρίου και θέλεις βάλει ύδωρ εις αυτόν·

19 And Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet with water from it.

και θέλουσι νίπτει ο Ααρών και οι υιοί αυτού τας χείρας αυτών και τους πόδας αυτών εξ αυτού·

20 Whenever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness, they shall wash themselves with water, so they shall not die, whenever they advance to the altar to do service and to offer the whole burnt offerings to the Lord.

Όταν εισέρχωνται εις την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου, θέλουσι νίπτεσθαι με ύδωρ, διά να μη αποθάνωσιν· ή όταν πλησιάζωσιν εις το θυσιαστήριον διά να λειτουργήσωσι, διά να καύσωσι θυσίαν γινομένην διά πυρός εις τον Κύριον·

21 They shall wash their hands and feet with water, whenever they shall go into the tabernacle of witness; they shall wash themselves with water, that they die not; and it shall be for them a perpetual statute, for him and his posterity after him.

τότε θέλουσι νίπτει τας χείρας αυτών και τους πόδας αυτών, διά να μη αποθάνωσι και τούτο θέλει είσθαι νόμος παντοτεινός εις αυτούς, εις αυτόν και εις το σπέρμα αυτού εις τας γενεάς αυτών.

22 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, λέγων,

23 Do you also take sweet herbs, the flower of choice myrrh five hundred shekels, and the half of this two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet smelling cinnamon, and two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet smelling calamus,

Και συ λάβε εις σεαυτόν εκλεκτά αρώματα, καθαράς σμύρνης πεντακοσίους σίκλους και ευώδους κινναμώμου ήμισυ αυτής, διακοσίους πεντήκοντα, και ευώδους καλάμου διακοσίους πεντήκοντα,

24 and of cassia five hundred shekels of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.

και κασσίας πεντακοσίους, κατά τον σίκλον του αγίου, και ελαίου ελαίας εν ίν·

25 And you shall make it a holy anointing oil, a perfumed ointment [tempered] by the are of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.

και θέλεις κάμει αυτό έλαιον αγίου χρίσματος, χρίσμα μυρεψικόν κατά την τέχνην του μυρεψού· άγιον χριστήριον έλαιον θέλει είσθαι.

26 And you shall anoint with it the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the tabernacle of witness,

Και θέλεις χρίσει με αυτό την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου και την κιβωτόν του μαρτυρίου,

27 and all its furniture, and the candlestick and all its furniture, and the altar of incense,

και την τράπεζαν και πάντα τα σκεύη αυτής και την λυχνίαν και τα σκεύη αυτής και το θυσιαστήριον του θυμιάματος,

28 and the altar of whole burnt offerings and all its furniture, and the table and all its furniture, and the laver.

και το θυσιαστήριον του ολοκαυτώματος μετά πάντων των σκευών αυτού και τον νιπτήρα και την βάσιν αυτού.

29 And you shall sanctify them, and they shall be most holy: every one that touches them shall be hallowed.

Και θέλεις αγιάσει αυτά, διά να ήναι αγιώτατα· παν το εγγίζον αυτά θέλει είσθαι άγιον.

30 And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them that they may minister to me as priests.

Και τον Ααρών και τους υιούς αυτού θέλεις χρίσει και θέλεις αγιάσει αυτούς, διά να ιερατεύωσιν εις εμέ.

31 And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, This shall be to you a holy anointing oil throughout your generations.

Και θέλεις λαλήσει προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ, λέγων, τούτο θέλει είσθαι εις εμέ άγιον χριστήριον έλαιον εις τας γενεάς σας·

32 On man's flesh it shall not be poured, and you shall not make [any] for yourselves according to this composition: it is holy, and shall be holiness to you.

επί σάρκα ανθρώπου δεν θέλει χυθή ουδέ θέλετε κάμει όμοιον αυτού κατά την σύνθεσιν αυτού· τούτο είναι άγιον και άγιον θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς·

33 Whosoever shall make it in like manner, and whoever shall give of it to a stranger, shall be destroyed from amongst his people.

όστις συνθέση όμοιον αυτού ή όστις βάλη εξ αυτού επί αλλογενή, θέλει εξολοθρευθή εκ του λαού αυτού.

34 And the Lord said to Moses, Take for yourself sweet herbs, stacte, onycha, sweet galbanum, and transparent frankincense; there shall be an equal weight of each.

Και είπε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, Λάβε εις σεαυτόν ευώδη αρώματα, στακτήν και όνυχα και χαλβάνην, ταύτα τα ευώδη αρώματα μετά καθαρού λιβανίου· ίσου βάρους θέλει είσθαι έκαστον.

35 And they shall make with it perfumed incense, tempered with the are of a perfumer, a pure holy work.

Και θέλεις κάμει τούτο θυμίαμα, σύνθεσιν κατά την τέχνην του μυρεψού μεμιγμένον, καθαρόν, άγιον·

36 And of these you shall beat some small, and you shall put it before the testimonies in the tabernacle of testimony, whence I will make myself known to you: it shall be to you a most holy incense.

και θέλεις κοπανίσει μέρος εκ τούτου πολλά λεπτόν, και θέλεις βάλει εξ αυτού έμπροσθεν του μαρτυρίου εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, όπου θέλω εμφανίζεσθαι εις σέ· τούτο θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς αγιώτατον.

37 You shall not make any for yourselves according to this composition; it shall be to you a holy thing for the Lord.

Κατά δε την σύνθεσιν του θυμιάματος τούτου, το οποίον θέλεις κάμει, σεις δεν θέλετε κάμει εις εαυτούς· άγιον θέλει είσθαι εις σε διά τον Κύριον·

38 Whosoever shall make any in like manner, so as to smell it, shall perish from his people.

όστις κάμη όμοιον αυτού διά να μυρίζηται αυτό, θέλει εξολοθρευθή εκ του λαού αυτού.
