< Exodus 22 >
1 And if one steal an ox or a sheep, and kill it or sell it, he shall pay five calves for a calf, and four sheep for a sheep.
Raha misy olona mangalatra omby, na ondry, na osy, ka mamono azy, na mivarotra azy, dia hanonitra omby dimy ho solon’ ny omby iray izy ary ondry na osy efatra ho solon’ ny ondry na osy iray.
2 And if the thief be found in the breach [made by himself] and be struck and die, there shall not be blood shed for him.
Raha azo manamitrano ny mpangalatra ka asiana ho faty, dia tsy hisy valin-drà amin’ izany;
3 But if the sun be risen upon him, he is guilty, he shall die instead; and if a thief have nothing, let him be sold in compensation for what he has stolen.
fa raha tratry ny masoandro miposaka kosa izy, dia hisy valin-drà ihany amin’ izany; hanonitra tokoa izy; ary raha tsy manana na inona na inona, dia hamidy izy noho ny halatra nataony.
4 And if the thing stolen be left and be in his hand alive, whether ox or sheep, he shall restore them two-fold.
Raha hita marina velona eo aminy ny halatra na omby, na boriky, na ondry, na osy, dia hanonitra roa heny izy.
5 And if any one should feed down a field or a vineyard, and should send in his beast to feed down another field, he shall make compensation of his own field according to his produce; and if he shall have fed down the whole field, he shall pay for compensation the best of his own field and the best of his vineyard.
Raha misy olona mampitondraka amin’ ny voly na tanim-boaloboka, fa alefany handeha ny bibiny, ka homana ny volin’ olona izany biby izany, dia amin’ ny tsara indrindra ao amin’ ny sahany, ary amin’ ny tsara indrindra ao amin’ ny tanim-boalobony, no hanonerany.
6 And if fire have gone forth and caught thorns, and should also set on fire threshing-floors or ears of corn or a field, he that kindled the fire shall make compensation.
Raha misy afo mirehitra ka mahazo ny tsilo, ka may ny antontam-bary, na ny vary maniry, na ny saha, dia hanonitra tokoa izay nampirehitra ny afo.
7 And if any one give to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and they be stolen out of the man's house, if the thief be found he shall repay double.
Raha misy olona mampitahiry vola na fanaka ny namany, ka angalarin’ ny sasany ao amin’ ny tranon’ ilay olona izany, raha hita ny mpangalatra, dia hanonitra roa heny izy.
8 But if the thief be not found, the master of the house shall come forward before God, and shall swear that surely he has not wrought wickedly in regard of any part of his neighbour's deposit,
Fa raha tsy hita kosa ny mpangalatra, dia ho entina eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra ny tompon’ ny trano mba hizahana na naninjitra ny tànany ka naka ny fananan’ ny namany izy, na tsia.
9 according to every injury alleged, both concerning a calf, and an ass, and a sheep, and a garment, and every alleged loss, whatever in fact it may be, —the judgement of both shall proceed before God, and he that is convicted by God shall repay to his neighbour double.
Ny amin’ ny zavatra ifandirana rehetra, na omby, na boriky, na ondry, na osy, na fitafiana, na zavatra very, izay ataon’ olona ho azy, dia ho entina eo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra ny tenin’ izy roa tonta, koa izay helohih’ Andriamanitra dia hanonitra roa heny ho an’ ny namany.
10 And if any one give to his neighbour to keep a calf or sheep or any beast, and it be wounded or die or be taken, and no one know,
Raha misy olona mampitahiry ny namany boriky, na omby, na ondry, na osy, na biby fiompy hafa, ka maty izany, na maratra, na roahina ka tsy misy mahita,
11 an oath of God shall be between both, [each swearing] that he has surely not at all been guilty in the matter of his neighbour's deposit; and so his master shall hold him guiltless, and he shall not make compensation.
dia fianianana amin’ i Jehovah no hitsarana azy roa tonta, hahafantarana na efa naninjitra ny tànany ka naka ny fananan’ ny namany ilay anankiray, na tsia; ary heken’ ny tompony izany, dia tsy hisy onitra.
12 And if it be stolen from him, he shall make compensation to the owner.
Fa raha nangalarina tany aminy tokoa izany, dia hanonitra ho an’ ny tompon-javatra izy.
13 And if it be seized of beasts, he shall bring him to [witness] the prey, and he shall not make compensation.
Raha voaviraviram-biby izany, dia hitondra azy ho vavolombelona izy; tsy hanonitra izay voaviravira izy.
14 And if any one borrow [ought] of his neighbour, and it be wounded or die or be carried away, and the owner of it be not with it, he shall make compensation.
Ary raha misy olona mindran-javatra amin’ ny namany, ka simba na maty izany, nefa tsy mba teo aminy ny tompon-javatra, dia hanonitra tokoa izy.
15 But if the owner be with it, he shall not make compensation: but if it be a hired thing, there shall be [a compensation] to him instead of his hire.
Fa raha teo aminy ihany ny tompon-javatra, dia tsy hanonitra izy; ary raha zavatra ahofa kosa, dia vitan’ ny hofany izany.
16 And if any one deceive a virgin that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her for a wife to himself.
Ary raha misy olona mitaona zazavavy, izay tsy voafofo, ka mandry aminy, dia hanome harena azy izy mba ho vadiny.
17 And if her father positively refuse, and will not consent to give her to him for a wife, he shall pay compensation to her father according to the amount of the dowry of virgins.
Fa raha mandà tokoa ny rainy ka tsy manome azy ho vadiny, dia handoa vola ralehilahy araka ny harena fanome zazavavy hampakarina.
18 You shall not save the lives of sorcerers.
Aza velomina ny vehivavy manana ody.
19 Every one that lies with a beast you shall surely put to death.
Izay rehetra mandry amin’ ny biby dia hatao maty tokoa.
20 He that sacrifices to any gods but to the Lord alone, shall be destroyed by death.
Izay mamono zavatra hatao fanatitra amin’ ny andriamanitra hafa, afa-tsy amin’ i Jehovah ihany, dia ho voaozona.
21 And you shall not hurt a stranger, nor afflict him; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Ary aza manao izay sarotra amin’ ny vahiny, na mampahory azy; fa ela mba vahiny tany amin’ ny tany Egypta ihany ianareo.
22 You shall hurt no widow or orphan.
Aza mampahory ny mpitondratena sy ny kamboty akory ianareo.
23 And if you should afflict them by ill-treatment, and they should cry aloud to me, I will surely hear their voice.
Fa raha mampahory azy na amin’ inona na amin’ inona ianao, ka mitaraina amiko izy, dia hihaino ny fitarainany tokoa Aho,
24 And I will be very angry, and will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows and your children orphans.
ka hirehitra ny fahatezerako, ary hamono anareo amin’ ny sabatra Aho; dia mba ho mpitondratena ny vadinareo, ary ho kamboty kosa ny zanakareo.
25 And if you should lend money to your poor brother who is by you, you shall not be hard upon him you shall not exact usury of him.
Raha mampisambo-bola ny oloko izay malahelo eo aminao ianao, dia tsy ho toy ny mpampanana vola aminy; fa tsy hampandoa zana-bola azy ianao.
26 And if you take your neighbour's garment for a pledge, you shall restore it to him before sunset.
Raha maka ny lamban’ ny namanao ho tsatòka ianao, dia hampodinao aminy izany, raha mbola tsy milentika ny masoandro.
27 For this is his clothing, this is the only covering of his nakedness; wherein shall he sleep? If then he shall cry to me, I will listen to him, for I am merciful.
Fa izany ihany no firakofany sady fitafiany amin’ ny hodiny, ka inona no ho entiny mandry? ary raha mitaraina amiko izy, dia hohenoiko, fa mamindra fo Aho.
28 You shall not revile the gods, nor speak ill of the ruler of your people.
Aza miteny ratsy an’ Andriamanitra ianao, na manozona ny mpanapaka ny firenenao.
29 You shall not keep back the first fruits of your threshing floor and press. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to me.
Aza atao ela vao manatitra ny santatry ny vokatrao sy ny fisotronao; ny matoa amin’ ny zanakao-lahy dia omeo Ahy.
30 So shall you do with your calf and your sheep and your ass; seven days shall it be under the mother, and the eighth day you shall give it to me.
Izao no hataonao amin’ ny ombinao sy ny ondry aman’ osinao; hafitoana no hitoerany ao amin’ ny reniny; ary amin’ ny andro fahavalo no hanateranao azy ho Ahy.
31 And you shall be holy men to me; and you shall not eat flesh taken of beasts, you shall cast it to the dog.
Ary ho olona masìna ho Ahy ianareo, koa izay hena voaviraviram-biby any an-tsaha dia tsy hohaninareo; fa harianareo ho an’ ny amboa izany.
