< Deuteronomy 3 >

1 And we turned and went by the way leading to Basan; and Og the king of Basan came out to meet us, he and all his people, to battle at Edraim.
Ket naglikkotayo ken sinang-attayo ti dalan nga agpa-Basan. Immay ni Og nga ari ti Basan ket rinautnatayo, isuna ken dagiti amin a tattaona tapno makigubat idiay Edrei.
2 And the Lord said to me, Fear him not, for I have delivered him, and all his people, and all his land, into your hands; and you shall do to him as you did to Seon king of the Amorites who lived in Esebon.
Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Saankayo nga agbuteng kenkuana; ta intedkon kadakayo ti balligi maibusor kenkuana ken inkabilkon dagiti amin a tattaona ken ti dagana iti panangiturayyo. Aramidenyonto kenkuana a kas iti inaramidyo kenni Sihon, nga ari dagiti Amorreo, a nagnaed idiay Hesbon.'
3 And the Lord our God delivered him into our hands, even Og the king of Basan, and all his people; and we struck him until we left none of his seed.
Pinagballiginatayo ngarud ni Yahweh maibusor kenni Og, nga ari ti Basan, ket inturayantayo dagiti amin a tattaona. Ket pinataytayo isuna agingga nga awan ti nabati kadagiti tattaona.
4 And we mastered all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we took not from them; sixty cities, all the country round about Argob, belonging to king Og in Basan:
Innalatayo dagiti amin a siudadna iti dayta a tiempo; awan ti uray maysa a siudad a saantayo nga innala kadakuada: innem a pulo a siudad —amin a rehion ti Argob, ti pagarian ni Og idiay Basan.
5 all strong cities, lofty walls, gates and bars; besides the very many cities of the Pherezites.
Siudad amin dagitoy a nasarikedkedan kadagiti nangangato a pader, ruangan ken balunet; malaksid pay kadagiti bario nga awan paderna.
6 We utterly destroyed [them] as we dealt with Seon the king of Esebon, so we utterly destroyed every city in order, and the women and the children,
Naan-anay a dinadaeltayo ida, a kas iti inaramidtayo kenni Sihon nga ari ti Hesbon, naan-anay a dinadaeltayo ti tunggal siudad nga adda agnanaed, agraman dagiti babbai ken dagiti ubbing.
7 and all the cattle; and we took for a prey to ourselves the spoil of the cities.
Ngem dagiti baka ken dagiti masamsam kadagiti siudad, sinamsamtayo a para kadagiti bagbagitayo.
8 And we took at that time the land out of the hands of the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond Jordan, [extending] from the brook of Arnon even to Aermon.
Iti dayta a tiempo, innalatayo ti daga manipud iti ima dagiti dua nga ari dagiti Amorreo nga adda iti ballasiw ti Jordan, manipud iti tanap ti Arnon agingga iti Bantay Hermon.
9 The Phoenicians call Aermon Sanior, but the Amorite has called it Sanir.
(Aw-awagan dagiti Sidonio ti Bantay Hermon iti Sirion, ken Senir met ti iyaw-awag dagiti Amorreo);
10 All the cities of Misor, and all Galaad, and all Basan as far as Elcha and Edraim, cities of the kingdom of Og in Basan.
ken amin a siudad iti patad a disso, iti entero a Galaad, ken entero a Basan, agingga iti Saleca ken Edrei, dagiti siudad ti pagarian ni Og idiay Basan.
11 For only Og the king of Basan was left of the Raphain: behold, his bed [was] a bed of iron; behold, [it is] in the chief city of the children of Ammon; the length of it [is] nine cubits, and the breadth of it four cubits, according to the cubit of a man.
(Ta iti nabatbati manipud iti Refaim, ni laeng Og nga ari ti Basan ti nabati; adtoy, naaramid iti landok ti pagiddaanna; saan kadi nga idiay Rabba, a pagnanaedan dagiti kaputotan ni Ammon? Siam a kubiko ti kaatiddug ken uppat a kubiko ti kaakaba daytoy, iti panagrukod dagiti tattao.)
12 And we inherited that land at that time from Aroer, which is by the border of the torrent Arnon, and half the mount of Galaad; and I gave his cities to Ruben and to Gad.
Daytoy a daga a tinagikuatayo iti dayta a tiempo — manipud Aroer, nga adda iti igid ti tanap ti Arnon, ken kagudua ti katurturodan a pagilian ti Galaad, ken dagiti siudad daytoy — Intedko kadagiti Reubenita ken Gadita.
13 And the rest of Galaad, and all Basan the kingdom of Og I gave to the half-tribe of Manasse, and all the country round about Argob, all that Basan; it shall be accounted the land of Raphain.
Dagiti nabatbati iti Galaad ken entero a Basan, ti pagarian ni Og, intedko iti kagudua ti tribu ni Manases: iti entero a rehion ti Argob ken entero a Basan. (Ti isu met laeng a masaksakupan ket naawagan iti daga ti Refaim.)
14 And Jair the son of Manasse took all the country round about Argob as far as the borders of Gargasi and Machathi: he called them by his name Basan Thavoth Jair until this day.
Ni Jair a kaputotan ni Manases, tinagikuana iti amin rehion ti Argob agingga iti beddeng ti Gesur ken Maacat. Inawaganna ti rehion, uray pay iti Basan, iti bukodna a nagan a Habboth-jair, agpapan ita nga aldaw.)
15 And to Machir I gave Galaad.
Intedko kenni Makir ti Galaad.
16 And to Ruben and to Gad I gave [the land] under Galaad as far as the brook of Arnon, the border between the brook and as far as Jaboc; the brook [is] the border to the children Amman.
Kadagiti Reubenitas ken Gaditas, intedko ti masaksakupan manipud iti Galaad agingga iti tanap ti Arnon— ti tengnga ti tanap ket ti beddeng ti masaksakupan— ken iti Karayan Jabbok, a nagbeddenganda kadagiti kaputotan ni Ammon.
17 And Araba and Jordan [are] the boundary of Machanareth, even to the sea of Araba, the salt sea under Asedoth Phasga eastward.
Maysa pay kadagiti beddeng daytoy ket ti patad ti tanap ti Karayan Jordan, manipud Cineret agingga iti baybay ti Araba (dayta ket ti Natay a Baybay), agingga kadagiti arisadsad ti Bantay Pisga iti daya.
18 And I charged you at that time, saying, The Lord your God has given you this land by lot; arm yourselves, every one [that is] powerful, and go before your brethren the children of Israel.
Binilinkayo iti dayta a tiempo a kunkunak, 'Inted ni Yahweh a Diosyo daytoy a daga tapno tagikuaentayo daytoy; dakayo, dagiti amin a lallaki a mannakigubat, bumallasiwkayonto a siaarmas iti sangoanan dagiti kakabsatyo, dagiti tattao ti Israel.
19 Only your wives and your children and your cattle (I know that you have much cattle), let them dwell in your cities which I have given you;
Ngem dagiti assawayo, dagiti annakyo, ken dagiti bakayo (ammok nga adu dagiti bakayo), agtalinaeddanto kadagiti siudadyo nga intedko kadakayo,
20 until the Lord your God give your brethren rest, as also he has given to you, and they also shall inherit the land, which the Lord our God gives them on the other side of Jordan; then you shall return, each one to his inheritance which I have given you.
agingga a paginanaen ni Yahweh dagiti kakabsatyo, a kas iti inaramidna kadakayo, agingga a tagikuaenda met ti daga nga it-ited ni Yahweh a Diosyo kadakuada iti ballasiw ti Jordan; ket agsublikayonto, tunggal lalaki kadakayo, kadagiti bukodyo a sanikua nga intedko kadakayo.'
21 And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Your eyes have seen all things, which the Lord our God did to these two kings: so shall the Lord our God do to all the kingdoms against which you cross over there.
Binilinko ni Josue iti dayta a tiempo a kinunkunak, 'Nakitam dagiti amin nga inaramid ni Yahweh kadagitoy dua nga ari; kastanto met laeng ti aramiden ni Yahweh kadagiti papananyo a pagarian.
22 You shall not be afraid of them, because the Lord our God himself shall fight for you.
Saankayonto nga agbuteng kadakuada, ta ni Yahweh a Diosyo ti makirangetto para kadakayo.'
23 And I implored the Lord at that time, saying,
Nagpakaasiak kenni Yahweh iti dayta a tiempo a kunkunak,
24 Lord God, you have begun to show to your servant your strength, and your power, and your mighty hand, and your high arm: for what God is there in heaven or on the earth, who will do as you have done, and according to your might?
'O Yahweh nga Apo, inrugim nga ipakita iti adipenmo ti kinadakkel ken ti napigsa nga imam; ta ania a dios ti adda idiay langit wenno iti daga a makaaramid kadagiti isu met laeng nga aramid nga inaramidmo, ken iti isu met laeng a nabileg nga ar-aramid?
25 I will therefore go over and see this good land that is beyond Jordan, this good mountain and Antilibanus.
Palubosannak a bumallasiw, agpakpakaasiak kenka, ket kitaek ti nadam-eg a daga nga adda iti ballasiw ti Jordan, dayta napintas a katurturodan a pagilian ken kasta met ti Lebanon.'
26 And the Lord because of you did not regard me, and listened not to me; and the Lord said to me, Let it suffice you, speak not of this matter to me any more.
Ngem nakaunget ni Yahweh kaniak gapu kadakayo; saan isuna a dimngeg kaniak. Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, 'Umdasen daytoy para kenka! — saan mon a dakdakamaten daytoy a banag kaniak:
27 Go up to the top of the quarried rock, and look with your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold [it] with your eyes, for you shall not go over this Jordan.
sumang-atka idiay tapaw ti Pisga ket ikitam dagiti matam idiay laud, idiay amianan, idiay abagatan ken idiay daya; kitaem a naimbag ta saankanto a bumallasiw iti Jordan.
28 And charge Joshua, and strengthen him, and encourage him; for he shall go before the face of this people, and he shall give them the inheritance of all the land which you have seen.
Bilinem ketdi ni Josue, pabilgem ken papigsaem isuna, ta ipanguloannanto dagitoy a tattao a bumallasiw, ket itednanto kadakuada a kas tawidda ti daga a makitam.'
29 And we abode in the valley near the house of Phogor.
Nagtalinaedtayo ngarud iti tanap nga adda iti bangir ti Bet Peor.
