< Deuteronomy 23 >
1 He that is fractured or mutilated in his private parts shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord.
Ɔbarima a wɔasa no anaa wɔatwa ne barima atwene no mmma Awurade badwa ase.
2 [One born] of a harlot shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord.
Wɔn a wɔyɛ mpena mma ne wɔn asefoɔ kɔsi awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ a ɛtɔ so edu no mmma Awurade badwa ase.
3 The Ammanite and Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord, even until the tenth generation he shall not enter into the assembly of the Lord, even for ever:
Amonfoɔ anaa Moabfoɔ anaa sɛ wɔn asefoɔ kɔsi awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ edu no mu biara mmma Awurade badwa ase.
4 because they met you not with bread and water by the way, when you went out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor of Mesopotamia to curse you.
Saa aman yi annye mo, amma mo aduane anaa sɛ nsuo ɛberɛ a mofiri Misraim reba no. Mmom, wɔkɔbɔɔ Beor babarima Balaam a ɔfiri Petor a ɛwɔ Mesopotamia paa sɛ ɔmmɛdome mo.
5 But the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam; and the Lord your God changed the curses into blessings, because the Lord your God loved you.
Nanso Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, antie Balaam. Ɔdanee nnome no ma ɛyɛɛ nhyira maa mo, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade mo Onyankopɔn dɔ mo.
6 You shall not speak peaceably or profitably to them all your days for ever.
Na sɛ mote ase yi, mommmoa Amonfoɔ ne Moabfoɔ ɛkwan biara so da biara da.
7 You shall not abhor an Edomite, because he is your brother; you shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were a stranger in his land.

8 If sons be born to them, in the third generation they shall enter into the assembly of the Lord.

9 And if you should go forth to engage with your enemies, then you shall keep you from every wicked thing.

10 If there should be in you a man who is not clean by reason of his issue by night, then he shall go forth out of the camp, and he shall not enter into the camp.
Sɛ ɔbarima bi ho gu fi ɛsiane anadwo mu ahobaa a, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔfiri atenaeɛ hɔ kɔtena baabi ɛda mu no nyinaa.
11 And it shall come to pass towards evening he shall wash his body with water, and when the sun has gone down, he shall go into the camp.
Ɛduru anwummerɛ a, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdware na owia kɔtɔ a, ɔnsane mmra atenaeɛ hɔ.
12 And you shall have a place outside of the camp, and you shall go out there,
Montwa baabi a mobɛgya mo anan wɔ asraafoɔ atenaeɛ hɔ.
13 and you shall have a trowel on your girdle; and it shall come to pass when you would relieve yourself abroad, that you shall dig with it, and shall bring back the earth and cover your nuisance.
Mo mu biara mfa sofi nka ne nneɛma ho. Ɛberɛ biara a mobɛgya mo anan no, momfa sofi no ntu amena na monkata agyanan no so.
14 Because the Lord your God walks in your camp to deliver you, and to give up your enemy before your face; and your camp shall be holy, and there shall not appear in you a disgraceful thing, and [so] he shall turn away from you.
Ɛsɛ sɛ asraafoɔ atenaeɛ hɔ yɛ kronkron, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, nam mo atenaeɛ no so bɔ mo ho ban, na moadi mo atamfoɔ so nkonim. Ɛnsɛ sɛ ɔhunu animguasedeɛ biara wɔ mo mu; sɛ ɛba saa a, ɔbɛdane nʼakyi akyerɛ mo.
15 You shall not deliver a servant to his master, who [coming] from his master attaches himself to you.
Sɛ ɛba sɛ nkoa dwane firi wɔn wuranom nkyɛn na wɔba mo nkyɛn bɛgye wɔn ho dwanekɔbea a, mommpam wɔn mma wɔnnsane wɔn akyi.
16 He shall dwell with you, he shall dwell amongst you where he shall please; you shall not afflict him.
Momma wɔntena mo mu wɔ kuro biara a wɔpɛ so a monnnyɛ wɔn aniɛyaadeɛ.
17 There shall not be a harlot of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be a fornicator of the sons of Israel; there shall not be an idolatress of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be an initiated person of the sons of Israel.
Ɛnsɛ sɛ Israelni barima anaa ɔbaa yɛ no ho hyiadan mu odwamanfoɔ.
18 You shall not bring the hire of a harlot, nor the price of a dog into the house of the Lord your God, for any vow; because even both are an abomination to the Lord your God.
Mommfa afɔrebɔdeɛ anaa adenya bi a ɛfiri odwamanfoɔ nkyɛn, sɛ ɔyɛ ɔbarima anaa ɔbaa, mma Awurade mo Onyankopɔn fie, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛyɛ Awurade mo Onyankopɔn akyiwadeɛ.
19 You shall not lend to your brother on usury of silver, or usury of meat, or usury of any thing which you may lend out.
Bosea a mobɔ mo yɔnko Israelni no, sɛ ɛyɛ sika, aduane anaa biribi foforɔ no, monnnye ho mfɛntom.
20 You may lend on usury to a stranger, but to your brother you shall not lend on usury; that the Lord your God may bless you in all your works upon the land, into which you are entering to inherit it.
Motumi gye bosea ho mfɛntom firi ahɔhoɔ nkyɛn, na ɛnyɛ Israelfoɔ nkyɛn, sɛdeɛ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, bɛhyira mo wɔ biribiara a moyɛ mu wɔ asase a morekɔ so akɔfa no.
21 And if you will vow a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay to pay it; for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and [otherwise] it shall be sin in you.
Sɛ mohyɛ Awurade mo Onyankopɔn bɔ a, biribiara a mohyɛɛ no ho bɔ no, monyɛ no ntɛm so. Ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn hwehwɛ sɛ, ɛbɔ a moahyɛ no no, mobɛdi so ntɛm so. Sɛ moanyɛ a, mobɛdi ho fɔ.
22 But if you should be unwilling to vow, it is not sin in you.
Nanso, sɛ moanhyɛ biribiara ho bɔ a, monyɛɛ bɔne biara.
23 You shall observe the words that proceed from between your lips; and as you have vowed a gift to the Lord God, [so] shall you do that which you have spoken with your mouth.
Na sɛ wo ara wofiri wo pɛ mu hyɛ bɔ a, hwɛ yie na di asɛm a woaka no so, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn na woahyɛ no bɔ no.
24 And if you should go into the corn field of your neighbour, then you may gather the ears with your hands; but you shall not put the sickle to your neighbour's corn.
Wotumi di bobe aba dodoɔ biara wɔ wo yɔnko bobe turom nanso, mfa bi ngu kɛntɛn mu nkɔ.
25 And if you should go into the vineyard of your neighbour, you shall eat grapes sufficient to satisfy your desire; but you may not put them into a vessel.
Saa ara na mobɛtumi de mo nsa apempan aburoo mmɛtem kakra wɔ mo yɔnko afuom, nanso ɛnsɛ sɛ mode sekan twa.
