Deuteronomy 10
1 At that time the Lord said to me, Hew for yourself two stone tables as the first, and come up to me into the mountain, and you shall make for yourself an ark of wood.
En aquel tiempo Jehová me dijo: Alísate dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y sube a mí al monte, y hazte un arca de madera;
2 And you shall write upon the tables the words which were on the first tables which you did break, and you shall put them into the ark.
Y escribiré en aquellas tablas las palabras que estaban en las tablas primeras, que quebraste; y ponerlas has en el arca.
3 So I made an ark of boards of incorruptible wood, and I hewed tables of stone like the first, and I went up to the mountain, and the two tables were in my hand.
E hice un arca de madera de cedro, y alisé dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y subí al monte con las dos tablas en mi mano.
4 And he wrote upon the tables according to the first writing the ten commandments, which the Lord spoke to you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire, and the Lord gave them to me.
Y escribió en las tablas, conforme a la primera escritura, las diez palabras que Jehová os había hablado en el monte de en medio del fuego el día de la congregación, y diómelas Jehová.
5 And I turned and came down from the mountain, and I put the tables into the ark which I had made; and there they were, as the Lord commanded me.
Y volví, y descendí del monte, y puse las tablas en el arca, que había hecho, y allí están, como Jehová me mandó.
6 And the children of Israel departed from Beeroth of the sons of Jakim [to] Misadai: there Aaron died, and there he was buried, and Eleazar his son was priest in his stead.
Después los hijos de Israel partieron de Berot de los hijos de Jacán a Mosera: allí murió Aarón, y allí fue sepultado; y tuvo el sacerdocio por él su hijo Eleazar.
7 Thence they departed to Gadgad; and from Gadgad to Etebatha, a land [wherein are] torrents of water.
De allí partieron a Gadgad; y de Gadgad a Jetebata tierra de arroyos de aguas.
8 At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand near before the Lord, to minister and bless in his name to this day.
En aquel tiempo apartó Jehová la tribu de Leví, para que llevase el arca del concierto de Jehová, para que estuviese delante de Jehová para servirle, y para bendecir en su nombre hasta hoy;
9 Therefore the Levites have no part nor inheritance amongst their brethren; the Lord himself [is] their inheritance, as he said to them.
Por lo cual Leví no tuvo parte ni heredad, con sus hermanos: Jehová es su heredad, como Jehová tu Dios le dijo.
10 And I remained in the mount forty days and forty nights: and the Lord heard me at that time also, and the Lord would not destroy you.
Y yo estuve en el monte, como los primeros días, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, y Jehová me oyó también esta vez, y Jehová no quiso destruirte.
11 And the Lord said to me, Go, set out before this people, and let them go in and inherit the land, which I sware to their fathers to give to them.
Y díjome Jehová: Levántate, anda para que partas delante del pueblo, para que entren, y hereden la tierra, que juré a sus padres que les había de dar.
12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul;
Ahora pues, Israel, ¿qué pide Jehová tu Dios de ti, sino que temas a Jehová tu Dios, que andes en todos sus caminos, y que le ames, y sirvas a Jehová tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma;
13 to keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his ordinances, all that I charge you today, that it may be well with you?
Que guardes los mandamientos de Jehová, y sus estatutos, que yo te mando hoy, para que hayas bien?
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, the earth and all things that are in it.
He aquí, de Jehová tu Dios son los cielos y los cielos de los cielos: la tierra y todas las cosas que están en ella.
15 Only the Lord chose your fathers to love them, and he chose out their seed after them, [even] you, beyond all nations, as at this day.
Solamente de tus padres se agradó Jehová, para amarlos: y escogió su simiente después de ellos, a vosotros, de todos los pueblos, como parece en este día.
16 Therefore you shall circumcise the hardness of your heart, and you shall not harden your neck.
Circuncidád pues el prepucio de vuestro corazón: y no endurezcáis más vuestra cerviz.
17 For the Lord your God, he [is] God of gods, and the Lord of lords, the great, and strong, and terrible God, who does not accept persons, nor will he by any means accept a bribe:
Porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios de dioses, y Señor de señores, Dios grande, poderoso y terrible, que no acepta personas, ni toma cohecho:
18 executing judgement for the stranger and orphan and widow, and he loves the stranger to give him food and raiment.
Que hace derecho al huérfano y a la viuda: que ama también al extranjero dándole pan y vestido.
19 And you shall love the stranger; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Amaréis pues al extranjero: porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en tierra de Egipto.
20 You shall fear the Lord your God, and serve him, and shall cleave to him, and shall swear by his name.
A Jehová tu Dios temerás, a él servirás, a él te allegarás, y por su nombre jurarás.
21 He [is] your boast, and he [is] your God, who has wrought in the midst of you these great and glorious things, which your eyes have seen.
El será tu alabanza, y él será tu Dios, que ha hecho contigo estas grandes y terribles cosas, que tus ojos han visto.
22 With seventy souls your fathers went down into Egypt; but the Lord your God has made you as the stars of heaven in multitude.
Con setenta almas descendieron tus padres a Egipto, y ahora Jehová te ha hecho como las estrellas del cielo en multitud.
