Kings II 22
1 And David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
੧ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਭਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਇਆ।
2 And the song was thus: O Lord, my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer,
੨ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ, ਮੇਰਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ, ਮੇਰਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ!
3 my God; he shall be to me my guard, I will trust in him: [he is] my protector, and the horn of my salvation, my helper, and my sure refuge; you shall save me from the unjust man.
੩ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਟਿੱਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਢਾਲ਼, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗ, ਮੇਰਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਓਟ। ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
4 I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, and I shall be saved from my enemies.
੪ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸਤਤ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ ।
5 For the troubles of death compassed me, the floods of iniquity amazed me:
੫ਮੌਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ, ਕੁਧਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਇਆ।
੬ਅਧੋਲੋਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ, ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਫੰਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਸਨ। (Sheol h7585)
7 When I am afflicted I will call upon the Lord, and will cry to my God, and he shall hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry shall come into his ears.
੭ਆਪਣੀ ਔਖ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਹਾਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ। ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ।
8 And the earth was troubled and quaked, and the foundations of heaven were confounded and torn asunder, because the Lord was angry with them.
੮ਤਦ ਧਰਤੀ ਕੰਬ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਥਰ-ਥਰਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਹਿੱਲ ਗਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਧੜਕ ਉੱਠੀਆਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ!
9 There went up a smoke in his wrath, and fire out of his mouth devours: coals were kindled at it.
੯ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ, ਅੰਗਿਆਰੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦਗ-ਦਗ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ!
10 And he bowed the heavens, and came down, and [there was] darkness under his feet.
੧੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝੁਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਸੀ।
11 And he rode upon the cherubs and did fly, and was seen upon the wings of the wind.
੧੧ਉਹ ਕਰੂਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉੱਡਿਆ, ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਪੌਣ ਦਿਆਂ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
12 And he made darkness his hiding-place; his tabernacle round about him was the darkness of waters, he condensed it with the clouds of the air.
੧੨ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦਾ ਮੰਡਪ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕੱਠ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ।
13 At the brightness before him coals of fire were kindled.
੧੩ਉਸ ਚਮਕ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ, ਅੰਗਿਆਰੇ ਦਗ-ਦਗ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ!
14 The Lord thundered out of heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice.
੧੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਗਰਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ।
15 And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, and he flashed lightning, and dismayed them.
੧੫ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਤਰ-ਬਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ!
16 And the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his anger.
੧੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਬਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਸ ਦੇ ਝੋਕੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਤਹ ਦਿੱਸ ਪਈਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਹਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਗਈਆਂ।
17 He sent from above and took me; he drew me out of many waters.
੧੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਹੱਥ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ।
18 He delivered me from my strong enemies, from them that hated me, for they were stronger than I.
੧੮ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਕੜੇ ਸਨ।
19 The days of my affliction prevented me; but the Lord was my stay.
੧੯ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਸੀ।
20 And he brought me into a wide place, and rescued me, because he delighted in me.
੨੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਸੀ।
21 And the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.
੨੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁੱਚਮਤਾਈ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
22 Because, I kept the ways of the Lord, and did not wickedly depart from my God.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਮੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ!
23 For all his judgements and his ordinances [were] before me: I departed not from them.
੨੩ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜਿਆ।
24 And I shall be blameless before him, and will keep myself from my iniquity.
੨੪ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖਰਾ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
25 And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands in his eye-sight.
੨੫ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਰਤਾਉ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
26 With the holy you will be holy, and with the perfect man you will be perfect,
੨੬ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਪੂਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
27 and with the excellent you will be excellent, and with the froward you will be froward.
੨੭ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਟੇਢਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਟੇਢਾ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
28 And you will save the poor people, and will bring down the eyes of the haughty.
੨੮ਤੂੰ ਦੁਖੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹੰਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰੇਂ।
29 For you, Lord, [are] my lamp, and the Lord shall shine forth to me in my darkness.
੨੯ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਹੈਂ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ!
30 For by you shall I run [as] a girded man, and by my God shall I leap over a wall.
੩੦ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੱਲਾ ਬੋਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਪਨਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਟੱਪ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
31 As for the Mighty One, his way [is] blameless: the word of the Lord [is] strong [and] tried in the fire: he is a protector to all that put their trust in him.
੩੧ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਤਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰਨਾਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ।
32 Who [is] strong, but the Lord? and who will be a Creator except our God?
੩੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ?
33 [It is] the Mighty One who strengthens me with might, and has prepared my way without fault.
੩੩ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਹ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
34 He makes my feet like hart's feet, and sets me upon the high places.
੩੪ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
35 He teaches my hands to war, and has broken a brazen bow by my arm.
੩੫ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦਾ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਝੁਕਾ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
36 And you have given me the shield of my salvation, and your propitious dealing has increased me,
੩੬ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੀ ਢਾਲ਼ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਰਮਾਈ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
37 so as to make room under me for my going, and my legs did not totter.
੩੭ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਦਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਥਾਨ ਚੌੜਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਿਲਕੇ।
38 I will pursue my enemies, and will utterly destroy them; and I will not turn again till I have consumed them.
੩੮ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਹਟਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
39 And I will crush them, and they shall not rise; and they shall fall under my feet.
੩੯ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਨਾ ਉੱਠੇ - ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਸਨ!
40 And you shall strengthen me with power for the war; you shall cause them that rise up against me to bow down under me.
੪੦ਤੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
41 And you have caused mine enemies to flee before me, even them that hated me, and you have slain them.
੪੧ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਿਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ!
42 They shall cry, and there shall be no helper; to the Lord, but he hearkens not to them.
੪੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
43 And I ground them as the dust of the earth, I beat them small as the mire of the streets.
੪੩ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਰਸਤੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਧਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ!
44 And you shall deliver me from the striving of the peoples, you shall keep me [to be] the head of the Gentiles: a people which I knew not served me.
੪੪ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
45 The strange children feigned [obedience] to me; they listened to me as soon as they heard.
੪੫ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚਾਪਲੂਸੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
46 The strange children shall be cast away, and shall be overthrown out of their hiding places.
੪੬ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਥਰ-ਥਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ।
47 The Lord lives, and blessed [be] my guardian, and my God, my strong keeper, shall be exalted.
੪੭ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਧੰਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ! ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ!
48 The Lord who avenges me [is] strong, chastening the nations under me,
੪੮ਉਸੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
49 and bringing me out from my enemies: and you shall set me on high from amongst those that rise up against me: you shall deliver me from the violent man.
੪੯ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
50 Therefore will I confess to you, O Lord, amongst the Gentiles, and sing to your name.
੫੦ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜਸ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ!
51 He magnifies the salvation of his king, and works mercy for his anointed, even for David and for his seed for ever.
੫੧ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜਾ ਲਈ ਬਚਾਓ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਜ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਉੱਤੇ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦਾਊਦ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਉੱਤੇ, ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
