Kings II 22
1 And David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
१जिस समय यहोवा ने दाऊद को उसके सब शत्रुओं और शाऊल के हाथ से बचाया था, उस समय उसने यहोवा के लिये इस गीत के वचन गाए:
2 And the song was thus: O Lord, my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer,
२उसने कहा, “यहोवा मेरी चट्टान, और मेरा गढ़, मेरा छुड़ानेवाला,
3 my God; he shall be to me my guard, I will trust in him: [he is] my protector, and the horn of my salvation, my helper, and my sure refuge; you shall save me from the unjust man.
३मेरा चट्टानरूपी परमेश्वर है, जिसका मैं शरणागत हूँ, मेरी ढाल, मेरा बचानेवाला सींग, मेरा ऊँचा गढ़, और मेरा शरणस्थान है, हे मेरे उद्धारकर्ता, तू उपद्रव से मेरा उद्धार किया करता है।
4 I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, and I shall be saved from my enemies.
४मैं यहोवा को जो स्तुति के योग्य है पुकारूँगा, और मैं अपने शत्रुओं से बचाया जाऊँगा।
5 For the troubles of death compassed me, the floods of iniquity amazed me:
५“मृत्यु के तरंगों ने तो मेरे चारों ओर घेरा डाला, नास्तिकपन की धाराओं ने मुझ को घबरा दिया था;
६अधोलोक की रस्सियाँ मेरे चारों ओर थीं, मृत्यु के फंदे मेरे सामने थे। (Sheol h7585)
7 When I am afflicted I will call upon the Lord, and will cry to my God, and he shall hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry shall come into his ears.
७अपने संकट में मैंने यहोवा को पुकारा; और अपने परमेश्वर के सम्मुख चिल्लाया। उसने मेरी बात को अपने मन्दिर में से सुन लिया, और मेरी दुहाई उसके कानों में पहुँची।
8 And the earth was troubled and quaked, and the foundations of heaven were confounded and torn asunder, because the Lord was angry with them.
८“तब पृथ्वी हिल गई और डोल उठी; और आकाश की नींवें काँपकर बहुत ही हिल गईं, क्योंकि वह अति क्रोधित हुआ था।
9 There went up a smoke in his wrath, and fire out of his mouth devours: coals were kindled at it.
९उसके नथनों से धुआँ निकला, और उसके मुँह से आग निकलकर भस्म करने लगी; जिससे कोयले दहक उठे।
10 And he bowed the heavens, and came down, and [there was] darkness under his feet.
१०और वह स्वर्ग को झुकाकर नीचे उतर आया; और उसके पाँवों तले घोर अंधकार छाया था।
11 And he rode upon the cherubs and did fly, and was seen upon the wings of the wind.
११वह करूब पर सवार होकर उड़ा, और पवन के पंखों पर चढ़कर दिखाई दिया।
12 And he made darkness his hiding-place; his tabernacle round about him was the darkness of waters, he condensed it with the clouds of the air.
१२उसने अपने चारों ओर के अंधियारे को, मेघों के समूह, और आकाश की काली घटाओं को अपना मण्डप बनाया।
13 At the brightness before him coals of fire were kindled.
१३उसके सम्मुख के तेज से, आग के कोयले दहक उठे।
14 The Lord thundered out of heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice.
१४यहोवा आकाश में से गरजा, और परमप्रधान ने अपनी वाणी सुनाई।
15 And he sent forth arrows, and scattered them, and he flashed lightning, and dismayed them.
१५उसने तीर चला-चलाकर मेरे शत्रुओं को तितर-बितर कर दिया, और बिजली गिरा गिराकर उसको परास्त कर दिया।
16 And the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his anger.
१६तब समुद्र की थाह दिखाई देने लगी, और जगत की नेवें खुल गईं, यह तो यहोवा की डाँट से, और उसके नथनों की साँस की झोंक से हुआ।
17 He sent from above and took me; he drew me out of many waters.
१७“उसने ऊपर से हाथ बढ़ाकर मुझे थाम लिया, और मुझे गहरे जल में से खींचकर बाहर निकाला।
18 He delivered me from my strong enemies, from them that hated me, for they were stronger than I.
१८उसने मुझे मेरे बलवन्त शत्रु से, और मेरे बैरियों से, जो मुझसे अधिक सामर्थी थे, मुझे छुड़ा लिया।
19 The days of my affliction prevented me; but the Lord was my stay.
१९उन्होंने मेरी विपत्ति के दिन मेरा सामना तो किया; परन्तु यहोवा मेरा आश्रय था।
20 And he brought me into a wide place, and rescued me, because he delighted in me.
२०उसने मुझे निकालकर चौड़े स्थान में पहुँचाया; उसने मुझ को छुड़ाया, क्योंकि वह मुझसे प्रसन्न था।
21 And the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.
२१“यहोवा ने मुझसे मेरी धार्मिकता के अनुसार व्यवहार किया; मेरे कामों की शुद्धता के अनुसार उसने मुझे बदला दिया।
22 Because, I kept the ways of the Lord, and did not wickedly depart from my God.
२२क्योंकि मैं यहोवा के मार्गों पर चलता रहा, और अपने परमेश्वर से मुँह मोड़कर दुष्ट न बना।
23 For all his judgements and his ordinances [were] before me: I departed not from them.
२३उसके सब नियम तो मेरे सामने बने रहे, और मैं उसकी विधियों से हट न गया।
24 And I shall be blameless before him, and will keep myself from my iniquity.
२४मैं उसके साथ खरा बना रहा, और अधर्म से अपने को बचाए रहा, जिसमें मेरे फँसने का डर था।
25 And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands in his eye-sight.
२५इसलिए यहोवा ने मुझे मेरी धार्मिकता के अनुसार बदला दिया, मेरी उस शुद्धता के अनुसार जिसे वह देखता था।
26 With the holy you will be holy, and with the perfect man you will be perfect,
२६“विश्वासयोग्य के साथ तू अपने को विश्वासयोग्य दिखाता; खरे पुरुष के साथ तू अपने को खरा दिखाता है;
27 and with the excellent you will be excellent, and with the froward you will be froward.
२७शुद्ध के साथ तू अपने को शुद्ध दिखाता; और टेढ़े के साथ तू तिरछा बनता है।
28 And you will save the poor people, and will bring down the eyes of the haughty.
२८और दीन लोगों को तो तू बचाता है, परन्तु अभिमानियों पर दृष्टि करके उन्हें नीचा करता है।
29 For you, Lord, [are] my lamp, and the Lord shall shine forth to me in my darkness.
२९हे यहोवा, तू ही मेरा दीपक है, और यहोवा मेरे अंधियारे को दूर करके उजियाला कर देता है।
30 For by you shall I run [as] a girded man, and by my God shall I leap over a wall.
३०तेरी सहायता से मैं दल पर धावा करता, अपने परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं शहरपनाह को फाँद जाता हूँ।
31 As for the Mighty One, his way [is] blameless: the word of the Lord [is] strong [and] tried in the fire: he is a protector to all that put their trust in him.
३१परमेश्वर की गति खरी है; यहोवा का वचन ताया हुआ है; वह अपने सब शरणागतों की ढाल है।
32 Who [is] strong, but the Lord? and who will be a Creator except our God?
३२“यहोवा को छोड़ क्या कोई परमेश्वर है? हमारे परमेश्वर को छोड़ क्या और कोई चट्टान है?
33 [It is] the Mighty One who strengthens me with might, and has prepared my way without fault.
३३यह वही परमेश्वर है, जो मेरा अति दृढ़ किला है, वह खरे मनुष्य को अपने मार्ग में लिए चलता है।
34 He makes my feet like hart's feet, and sets me upon the high places.
३४वह मेरे पैरों को हिरनी के समान बना देता है, और मुझे ऊँचे स्थानों पर खड़ा करता है।
35 He teaches my hands to war, and has broken a brazen bow by my arm.
३५वह मेरे हाथों को युद्ध करना सिखाता है, यहाँ तक कि मेरी बाँहे पीतल के धनुष को झुका देती हैं।
36 And you have given me the shield of my salvation, and your propitious dealing has increased me,
३६तूने मुझ को अपने उद्धार की ढाल दी है, और तेरी नम्रता मुझे बढ़ाती है।
37 so as to make room under me for my going, and my legs did not totter.
३७तू मेरे पैरों के लिये स्थान चौड़ा करता है, और मेरे पैर नहीं फिसले।
38 I will pursue my enemies, and will utterly destroy them; and I will not turn again till I have consumed them.
३८मैंने अपने शत्रुओं का पीछा करके उनका सत्यानाश कर दिया, और जब तक उनका अन्त न किया तब तक न लौटा।
39 And I will crush them, and they shall not rise; and they shall fall under my feet.
३९मैंने उनका अन्त किया; और उन्हें ऐसा छेद डाला है कि वे उठ नहीं सकते; वरन् वे तो मेरे पाँवों के नीचे गिरे पड़े हैं।
40 And you shall strengthen me with power for the war; you shall cause them that rise up against me to bow down under me.
४०तूने युद्ध के लिये मेरी कमर बलवन्त की; और मेरे विरोधियों को मेरे ही सामने परास्त कर दिया।
41 And you have caused mine enemies to flee before me, even them that hated me, and you have slain them.
४१और तूने मेरे शत्रुओं की पीठ मुझे दिखाई, ताकि मैं अपने बैरियों को काट डालूँ।
42 They shall cry, and there shall be no helper; to the Lord, but he hearkens not to them.
४२उन्होंने बाट तो जोही, परन्तु कोई बचानेवाला न मिला; उन्होंने यहोवा की भी बाट जोही, परन्तु उसने उनको कोई उत्तर न दिया।
43 And I ground them as the dust of the earth, I beat them small as the mire of the streets.
४३तब मैंने उनको कूट कूटकर भूमि की धूल के समान कर दिया, मैंने उन्हें सड़कों और गली कूचों की कीचड़ के समान पटककर चारों ओर फैला दिया।
44 And you shall deliver me from the striving of the peoples, you shall keep me [to be] the head of the Gentiles: a people which I knew not served me.
४४“फिर तूने मुझे प्रजा के झगड़ों से छुड़ाकर अन्यजातियों का प्रधान होने के लिये मेरी रक्षा की; जिन लोगों को मैं न जानता था वे भी मेरे अधीन हो जाएँगे।
45 The strange children feigned [obedience] to me; they listened to me as soon as they heard.
४५परदेशी मेरी चापलूसी करेंगे; वे मेरा नाम सुनते ही मेरे वश में आएँगे।
46 The strange children shall be cast away, and shall be overthrown out of their hiding places.
४६परदेशी मुर्झाएँगे, और अपने किलों में से थरथराते हुए निकलेंगे।
47 The Lord lives, and blessed [be] my guardian, and my God, my strong keeper, shall be exalted.
४७“यहोवा जीवित है; मेरी चट्टान धन्य है, और परमेश्वर जो मेरे उद्धार की चट्टान है, उसकी महिमा हो।
48 The Lord who avenges me [is] strong, chastening the nations under me,
४८धन्य है मेरा पलटा लेनेवाला परमेश्वर, जो देश-देश के लोगों को मेरे वश में कर देता है,
49 and bringing me out from my enemies: and you shall set me on high from amongst those that rise up against me: you shall deliver me from the violent man.
४९और मुझे मेरे शत्रुओं के बीच से निकालता है; हाँ, तू मुझे मेरे विरोधियों से ऊँचा करता है, और उपद्रवी पुरुष से बचाता है।
50 Therefore will I confess to you, O Lord, amongst the Gentiles, and sing to your name.
५०“इस कारण, हे यहोवा, मैं जाति-जाति के सामने तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा, और तेरे नाम का भजन गाऊँगा
51 He magnifies the salvation of his king, and works mercy for his anointed, even for David and for his seed for ever.
५१वह अपने ठहराए हुए राजा का बड़ा उद्धार करता है, वह अपने अभिषिक्त दाऊद, और उसके वंश पर युगानुयुग करुणा करता रहेगा।”
