< Chronicles II 7 >

1 And when Solomon had finished praying, then the fire came down from heaven, and devoured the whole burnt offerings and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
Solomon lawkthuih boeng pacoengah, van hoiah hmai krak tathuk moe, angbawnhaih ah tathlang ih hmuennawk to hmai mah kang boih; to naah im to Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah koi.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord at that time, for the glory of the Lord filled the house.
Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah im to koi pongah, Angraeng imthung ah qaimanawk akun o thai ai.
3 And all the children of Israel saw the fire descending, and the glory of the Lord was upon the house: and they fell upon their face to the ground on the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord; for [it is] good [to do so], because his mercy [endures] for ever.
Im nuiah krah tathuk hmai hoi Angraeng lensawkhaih to Israel caanawk mah hnuk o naah, long ah akuep o moe, bok o; Angraeng to saphaw o; Anih loe hoih; anih tahmenhaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, tiah thuih o.
4 And the king and all the people [were] offering sacrifices before the Lord.
To pacoengah singpahrang hoi kaminawk boih mah Angraeng hmaa ah angbawnhaih to sak o.
5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of calves twenty and two thousand, of sheep a hundred and twenty thousand: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
Solomon siangpahrang mah angbawn haih hanah maitaw sang pumphae hnetto, tuu sang cumvaito pacoengah sing hnetto paek; to tiah siangpahrang hoi kaminawk boih mah Sithaw ih im tathlanghaih to sak o.
6 And the priests were standing at their watches, and the Levites with instruments of music of the Lord, belonging to king David, to give thanks before the Lord, for his mercy [endures] for ever, with the hymns of David, by their ministry: and the priests were blowing the trumpets before them, and all Israel standing.
Qaimanawk loe angmacae ih tok to sak o; Angraeng tahmenhaih loe dungzan ah cak poe pongah, Levi acaengnawk loe Angraeng ih ahmin saphaw hanah, David mah Angraeng pakoeh han sak ih congca katoeng tamoi to kruek o moe, David ih saam laa to sak o; qaimanawk mah mongkah uengh o naah, Israel kaminawk boih angdoet o.
7 And Solomon consecrated the middle of the court that was in the house of the Lord: for he offered there the whole burnt offerings and the fat of the peace-offerings, for the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not sufficient to receive the whole burnt offerings, and the meat-offerings, and the fat.
Solomon loe angmah sak ih sumkamling hmaicam pongah hmai angbawnhaih, canghum angbawnhaih, angdaeh moithawk angbawnhaih sak hanah acaeh ai pongah, Angraeng im hmaa ah kaom, longhma to ciimsak pacoengah, to ahmuen ah hmai angbawnhaih, canghum angbawnhaih, moithawk angbawnhaihnawk to a sak.
8 And Solomon kept the feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entering in of Aemath, and as far as the river of Egypt.
Solomon loe a taengah kaom Israel caanawk boih hoi ni sarihto thung poih to sak; kami paroeai pop o moe, Hammath vangpui akunhaih ahmuen hoi Izip vapui khoek to kami koi o.
9 And on the eighth day he kept a solemn assembly: for he kept a feast of seven days as the dedication of the altar.
Ni tazetto naah, rangpui amkhuenghaih to sak o; ni sarihto thung hmaicam angbawnhaih to sak o pacoengah, poih to ni sarihto thung sak o let bae.
10 And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he dismissed the people to their tents, rejoicing, and with a glad heart because of the good deeds which the Lord had done to David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
David, Solomon hoi angmah ih Israel kaminawk khaeah Angraeng hoihhaih to amtuengsak pongah, anghoe o moe, kami boih khrah sarihto haih, ni pumphae thumto naah angmacae ohhaih kahni im ah amlaemsak.
11 So Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and in whatever Solomon wished in his heart to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house, he prospered.
Solomon mah Angraeng im hoi siangpahrang im to sak pacoeng boih, Angraeng im hoi siangpahrang im sak atimhaih doeh pacoeng king.
12 And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and I have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice.
Aqum ah anih khaeah Angraeng amtueng pae moe, anih khaeah, Lawk na thuihaih lok to ka thaih moe, hae ahmuen loe kai khaeah angbawnhaih sakhaih ahmuen ah ka qoih boeh.
13 If I should restrain the heaven and there should be no rain, and if I should command the locust to devour the trees, and if I should send pestilence upon my people;
Kho angzoh han ai ah, van thok to ka khah, to tih ai boeh loe prae paro hanah pakhuhnawk to lok ka paek, to tih ai boeh loe kaimah ih kaminawk khaeah takhi sae hoi nathaih ka patoeh moe,
14 then if my people, on whom my name is called, should repent, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, I also will hear from heaven, and I will be merciful to their sins, and I will heal their land.
ka hmin hoi kawk ih, kaimah ih kaminawk mah, poek pahnaemhaih hoi lawkthuihaih hoiah ka mikhmai to pakrong o moe, a caeh o haih loklam kasae hoiah amlaem o let naahaloe, nihcae ih lok to van hoiah ka tahngaih moe, nihcae zaehaih to ka tahmen pae han; a prae doeh ngan ka tuisak han.
15 And now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive to the prayer of this place.
Ka mik padai moe, hae ahmuen ah lawkthuihaih lok to ka tahngaih pae han.
16 And now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that my name should be there for ever: and my eyes and my heart shall be there always.
Hae ahmuen ah ka hmin oh poe hanah, hae im hae ka qoih moe, ciimsak boeh; ka mik hoi ka palungthin loe to ahmuen ah om poe tih.
17 And if you will walk before me as David your father [did], and will do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my ordinances and my judgements;
Nang doeh nam pa David baktiah ka hmaa ah na caeh, ka thuih ih loknawk to na pazui boih moe, ka lokcaekhaih hoi ka paek ih loknawk to na pazui boih nahaeloe,
18 then will I establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man ruling in Israel.
Israel kaminawk ukkung apet mak ai, tiah nam pa David hoiah ka sak ih lokmaihaih baktih toengah, siangpahrang anghnuthaih angraeng tangkhang to kang caksak han, tiah a naa.
19 But if you should turn away, and forsake my ordinances and my commandments, which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them;
Toe ka paek ih loknawk hoi ka thuih ih loknawk to na pahnawt moe, loklam kalah bangah nang qoi taak, kalah sithawnawk to na bok moe, a tok to na sak pae nahaeloe,
20 then will I remove you from the land which I gave them; and this house which I have consecrated to my name I will remove out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword amongst all nations.
ka paek ih ka prae thung hoiah nihcae to tangzuun hoi nawnto ka phong moe, ka hmin hanah ka ciimsak ih hae im doeh ka pahnawt sut han; ka hmaa hoi kang haek moe, minawk mah patahhaih lok thuih koi kaom ah kang sak han.
21 And [as for] this lofty house, every one that passes by it shall be amazed, and shall say, Therefore has the Lord done [thus] to this land, and to this house?
Pakoeh ah kaom, hae im taengah caeh kaminawk boih dawnrai o ueloe, tipongah hae prae hoi hae im loe Angraeng mah hae tiah sak loe? tiah thui o tih.
22 And [men] shall say, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and they attached themselves to other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: and therefore he has brought upon them all this evil.
To naah minawk mah, Nihcae loe Izip prae thung hoiah angmacae ih ampanawk zaehoikung, Angraeng Sithaw to pahnawt o moe, kalah sithawnawk to bok o pacoengah, a tok to sak pae o pongah, hae patangkhanghaihnawk boih, hae kaminawk nuiah kraksak, tiah thui o tih, tiah a naa.
