1 The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.

Levi chapate chu Gershon ahin, Kohath ahin, chule Merari toh ahiuve.

2 And the sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.

Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amram ahin, Izhar ahin, Hebron ahin, chule Uzziel toh ahiuve.

3 And the sons of Ambram; Aaron, and Moses, and Mariam: and the sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abiud, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

Amram chapate chu Aaron ahin, Moses ahin, chule Miriam toh ahi. Aaron chapate chu Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, chule Ithamar toh hichengse hi ahiuve.

4 Eleazar begot Phinees, Phinees begot Abisu;

Eleazer hin Phinehas anahingin, Phinehas hin Abishua anahinge.

5 Abisu begot Bokki, and Bokki begot Ozi;

Abishua hin Bukki anahingin, Bukki hin Uzzi ahinge.

6 Ozi begot Zaraia, Zaraia begot Mariel;

Uzzi hin Zerahiah ahingin, Zerahiah in Meraioth ahinge.

7 and Mariel begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;

Meraioth hin Amariah ahingin, Amariah hin Ahitub ahinge.

8 and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas;

Ahitub hin Zadok ahingin, Zadok hin Ahimaaz ahinge.

9 and Achimaas begot Azarias, and Azarias begot Joanan;

Johanan hin Azariah chu ahingin, Azariah chun Johanan ahinge.

10 and Joanan begot Azarias: he ministered as priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 And Azarias begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;

Azariah hin Amariah ahingin, Amariah chun Ahitub ahinge.

12 and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Salom;

Ahitub hin Zadok ahingin, Zadok chun Shallum ahinge.

13 and Salom begot Chelcias, and Chelcias begot Azarias;

Shallum hin Hilkiah ahingin, Hilkiah chun Azariah ahinge.

14 and Azarias begot Saraia, and Saraias begot Josadac.

Azariah hin Seraiah ahingin, Seraiah chun Jehozadak ahingin ahi.

15 And Josadac went into captivity with Juda and Jerusalem under Nabuchodonosor.

16 The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.

17 And these [are] the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.

Gershom chapate ni chu Libni leh Shimei ahilhone.

18 The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.

Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amram ahin, Izhar ahin, Hebron ahin, chule Uzziel ahi.

19 The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these [are] the families of Levi, according to their families.

Merari son achilhah teni chu Mahli le Mushi ahilhone. Anoiya mi hichengse hi apu apau kailhah cheh ama ama insung dol cheh’a Levi miho insung jeng ahiuve:

20 To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—[were born] Jeth his son, Zammath his son,

Gershon insung ahileh, Libni ahin, Jahath ahin, Zimmah ahin,

21 Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.

Joah ahin, Iddo ahin, Zerah ahin, chule Jeatherai ahi.

22 The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;

Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amminadab ahin, Korah ahin, Assir ahin,

23 Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:

Elkanah ahin, Abiasaph ahin, ahimoth ahin,

24 Thaath his son, Uriel his son, Ozia his son, Saul his son.

25 And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.

26 Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;

Elkanah ahin, Zophai ahin, Nahath ahin,

27 Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.

Eliah ahin, Jehoram ahin, Elkanah ahin, chule Samuel ahi.

28 The sons of Samuel; the firstborn Sani, and Abia.

29 The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;

30 Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.

Shimei ahin, Haggiah ahin, chule Asaiah ahi.

31 And these [were the men] whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.

32 And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness [playing] on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.

36 the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,

Amasai chu Elkanah chapa ahin, Elkanah chu Joel chapa ahi, Joel chu Azariah chapa ahin, Azariah chu Zephaniah chapa ahi.

37 the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,

Zephaniah chu Tahath chapa ahin, Tahath chu Assir chapa ahin, Assir chu Ebiasaph chapa ahin, Ebiasaph chu Korah chapa ahi.

38 the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

Korah chu Izhar chapa ahin, Izhar chu Kohath chapa ahi; Kohath chu Levi chapa ahin, Levi chu Israel chapa ahi.

39 And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,

40 the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,

41 the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,

Malkijah chu Ethnic chapa ahi; Ethnic chu Zerah chapa ahin, Zerah chu Adaiah chapa ahi,

42 the son of Adai, the son of Aetham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,

Adaiah chu Ethan chapa ahin, Ethan chu Zimmah chapa ahi; Zimmah chu Shimei chapa ahin,

43 the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.

Shimei chu Jathah chapa ahi; Jathah chu Gershom chapa ahin, Gershom chu Levi chapa ahi.

44 And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Aetham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,

Hemanin manchah phapenna anei ani channa pa Merari chilhah miho lah’a Ethan chu Kishi chapa ahin, Kishi chu Abdi chapa ahin, Abdi chu Malluch chapa ahin,

45 the son of Asebi,

Malluch chu Hashabiah chapa ahin, Hashabiah chu Amaziah chapa ahin, Amaziah chu Hilkiah chapa ahin,

46 the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,

Hilkiah chu Amzi chapa ahin, Amzi chu Bani chapa ahin, Bani chu Shemer chapa ahin,

47 the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

Shemer chu Mahli chapa ahin, Mahli chu Mushi chapa ahin, Mushi chu Merari chapa ahin chule Merari chu Levi chapa ahiye.

48 And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, [were] the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 And Aaron and his sons [were] to burn incense on the altar of whole burnt offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry [in] the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.

50 And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,

51 Bokki his son, Ozi his son, Saraia his son,

Abishua chapa chu Bukki ahin, Bukki chapa chu Uzzi ahin, Uzzi chapa chu Zerahiah ahi.

52 Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,

Zerahiah chapa chu Meraioth ahin, Meraioth chapa chu Amariah ahin; Amariah chapa chu Ahitub ahi.

53 Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.

Ahitub chapa chu Zadok ahin, chule Zadok chapa chu Ahimaaz ahiye.

54 And these [are] their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.

55 And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.

Mihon amaho chu Judah gamsunga Hebron khopi le akimvel gamse se toh chule avel’a hamhing gam gancha vahna ding jouse chutoh apeh tha taove;

56 But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.

Amavang akhopi loujao lah chengse leh akhoneo dung jouse chu Caleb kitipa Jephunneh chapa chu apetauve.

57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, [even] Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,

Aaron chapa dinga khopi anapeh’u chule ahamhing gamsunga cheh toh anakipeh tha ho chu: Hebron khopi ( kiselna khopi ), Libnah khopi, Jattir khopi, Eshtemoa khopi,

58 and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,

Holon khopi, Debir khopi,

59 and Asan and her suburbs, and Baethsamys and her suburbs:

Ain khoppi, Juttah khopi, chule Beth-Shemesh khopi toh hichengse hi ahi.

60 and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities [were] thirteen cities according to their families.

Chuleh Benjamin phunga kona alahdoh-u khopi ho chu Gibeon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, Geba khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, Alemeth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, chule Anatholh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahi. Aaron chapate ainsung pumpiuva achan jat’u khopi chu abonchan khopi som le khopi thum alhingin ahi.

61 And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, [there were given] out of the tribe, [namely], out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.

Kohath chapate amoh chengse din Bamau insung dinga phum aphatna dungjuiyin, Manasseh phung keh khat, hichea phunga kon chun khopi som khat jen akipen ahi.

62 And to the sons of Gedson according to their families [there were given] thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.

Gershom chapate chu phun kisan aphat dungjuiyin, Issachar gam'a kon, Asher gam'a kon, Naphtali gam'a kon, chule Jordan solam’a um Bashan gam'a Manasseh phunga kona kidong khom khopi agomin khopi som le khopi thum achanguvin ahi.

63 And to the sons of Merari according to their families [there were given], by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, [and] of the tribe of Zabulon.

Merari chapate jong phun kisan aphat dungjuiyin, Reuben gam'a kon, Gad gam'a kon, chule Zebulun gam'a kon kidong khom khopi som le khopi ni acheng uvin ahiye.

64 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.

Hitobang hin Israel chaten Levite chu khopi chujat chutoh ahamhing gamsese toh anapeuvin ahiye.

65 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.

66 And [to the members] of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Kohath chapate insung mi phabep jong Ephraim phunga konin agamsunguva khopi phabep le ahamhing gamsungse cheh achanguvin,

67 And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,

hiche khopi ho chu: Shechem ( kiselna hoidohna khopi Ephraim thinglhang gam'a um ) ahin, Gezer khopi ahin,

68 and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Baethoron and her suburbs,

Jokmeam khopi ahin, Beth-horon khopi ahin,

69 and Aelon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:

Aijalon khopi ahin, chule Gath-Rimmon khopi chengse hi ahi.

70 and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to [each several] family.

Kohath chapate amoh chengse kipe khopi ho chu Manasseh phung keh khat’a kon in jong Aner le bileam khopi cheh leh Ahamhing gamsungse cheh toh ahin ahi.

71 To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse [they gave] Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.

Gershon insung mite kipe khopi ho chu Bashan gamsunga Golan khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese, chule Manasseh phung keh khat’a kona Ashtaroth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahiye.

72 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,

Isssachar phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Kedesh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Deberath khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se,

73 and Ramoth, and Aenan and her suburbs.

Ramoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se le Anem khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

74 And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,

Asher phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Mashal khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, Abdon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se,

75 and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.

Hakok khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, chule Rehob khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

76 And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.

Naphtali phung sunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu, Galilee gamsunga Kedesh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Hammon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, chule Kiriathaim khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

77 To the sons of Merari that were left, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:

Merari chate amoh chengse chu Zebulun phunga konin Jokneam khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Kartah khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Rimmon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Tabor khopi ahamhing gamsungse se akipen ahi.

78 out of [the country] beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,

Reuben phung sunga kona kipe khopi ho chu Jordan vadung gal lang Jericho khopi dunga, Jordan kal niso lam’a Bezer khopi ( Nel khopi ) le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Jahaz khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin,

79 and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.

Kedermoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Mephaath khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se toh akipen ahi.

80 Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,

Chutengleh Gad phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Gilead gamsunga Ramoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese ahin,

81 and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.

Heshbon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Jazer khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese ahi.
