< Chronicles I 26 >

1 And for the divisions of the gates: the sons of the Corites [were] Mosellemia, of the sons of Asaph.
NO na puu ana o na kiaipuka: o na Kora, o Meselemia he keikikane a Kore, no na keiki a Asapa.
2 And Mosellemia's firstborn son [was] Zacharias, the second Jadiel, the third Zabadia, the fourth Jenuel,
A o na keikikane a Meselemia; o Zekaria ka makahiapo, o Iediaela ka lua, o Zebadia ke kolu, o Iateniela ka ha,

O Elama ka lima, o Iehohanana ke ono, o Elioenai ka hiku.
4 And to Abdedom [there were born] sons, Samaias the firstborn, Jozabath the second, Joath the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,
Eia hoi, o na keikikane a Obededoma: o Semaia ka makahiapo, o Iehozabada ka lua, o loa ke kolu, o Sakara ka ha, o Netaneela ka lima,
5 Amiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phelathi the eighth: for God blessed him.
O Amiela ke ono, o Isakara ka hiku, a o Peuletai ka walu: no ka mea, hoopomaikai mai la ke Akua ia ia.
6 And to Samaias his son were born the sons of his firstborn, chiefs over the house of their father, for they were mighty.
Na Semaia hoi, na kana keikikane, ua hanau na keiki; he mau luna lakou mawaena o ka ohana o ko lakou makuakane: no ka mea, he mau kanaka koa ikaika lakou.

O na keikikane a Semaia; o Oteni, o Repaela, o Obeda, o Elezabada; o na hoahanau o lakou, he mau kanaka ikaika, o Elihu, a o Semakia.
8 All [these were] of the sons of Abdedom, they and their sons and their brethren, doing mightily in service: in all sixty-two [born] to Abdedom.
O keia poe a pau no na keiki a Obededoma: o lakou, o na keikikane a lakou, a me na hoahanau o lakou, na kanaka ikaika e hiki ai ka oihana, he kanaonokumamalua na Obededoma mai.
9 And Mosellemia [had] eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.
Na Meselemia hoi na keikikane a me na hoahanau, na kanaka ikaika, he umikumamawalu:
10 And to Osa of the sons of Merari [there were born] sons, keeping the dominion; though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief of the second division.
A o Hosa hoi, no na keikikane a Merari, nana mai na keikikane; o Simeri ke pookela, (no ka mea, aole hoi ia o ka hiapo, aka, hoonoho iho la kona makuakane ia ia i pookela; )
11 Chelcias the second, Tablai the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these [were] the sons and brethren of Osa, thirteen.
O Hilekia ka lua, o Tebalia ke kolu, o Zekaria ka ha; o na keikikane a pau a me na hoahanau o Hosa, he umikumamakolu.
12 To these [were assigned] the divisions of the gates, to the chiefs of the mighty men the daily courses, even their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
Ia lakou i na kanaka pookela, na papa kiaipuka, a he mau puu o lakou e ku pono ana kekahi i kekahi, e lawelawe iloko o ka hale o Iehova.
13 And they cast lots for the small as well as for the great, for the several gates, according to their families.
A puu iho lakou no ka poe uuku a me ka poe nui, e like me ka ohana o ko lakou mau kupuna, no kela puka, a no keia puka.
14 And the lot of the east gates fell to Selemias, and Zacharias: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.
A puka mai la ka puu hikina ia Selemia, Alaila puu iho la lakou no kana keiki no Zekaria, he kakaolelo naauao: a puka mai la ka puu kukulu akau nona.
15 To Abdedom [they gave by lot] the south, opposite the house of Esephim.
Ia Obededoma ke kukuluhema: a i kana mau keikikane, ka hale ahu waiwai.
16 [They gave the lot] for the second to Osa westward, after the gate of the chamber by the ascent, watch against watch.
Ia Supima laua o Hosa ke komohana, a me ka puka Saleketa, ma ke alanuipapa o ka pii ana, he puu kiai maanei a he puu kiai ma o.
17 Eastward [were] six [watchmen] in the day; northward four by the day; southward four by the day; and two at the Esephim,
Ma ka hikina he mau Levi aono; ma ke kukuluakau, eha i ka la hookahi; ma ke kukuluhema, eha i ka la hookahi; a ma ka hale ahuwaiwai, elua a elua.
18 to relieve guard, also for Osa westward after the chamber-gate, three. [There was] a ward over against the ward of the ascent eastward, six [men] in a day, and four for the north, and four for the south, and at the Esephim two to relieve guard, and four by the west, and two to relieve guard at the pathway.
Ma Parebara ma ke komohana, eha ma ke alanuipapa, a elua ma Parebara.
19 These [are] the divisions of the porters for the sons of Core, and to the sons of Merari.
Oia na puu kiaipuka iwaena o na mamo a Kore, a iwaena o na mamo a Merari.
20 And the Levites their brethren [were] over the treasures of the house of the Lord, and over the treasures of the hallowed things.

21 These [were] the sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gersonite: to Ladan [belonged] the heads of the families: [the son] of Ladan the Gersonite [was] Jeiel.
No na keikikane a Laadana; o na keikikane a Laadana na Geresona, o na makua'lii a Laadana no Geresona; o Iehieli.
22 The sons of Jeiel [were] Zethom, and Joel; brethren [who were] over the treasures of the house of the Lord.

A o Sebuela ke keiki a Geresoma ke keiki a Mose, oia ka luna o na waihona waiwai.
25 And Rabias [was] son to his brother Eliezer, and [so was] Josias, and Joram, and Zechri, and Salomoth.
A o kona poe hoahanau ma Eliezera; o Rehabia kana keiki, o Iesaia kana keiki, o Iorama kana keiki, o Zikeri kana keiki, a o Selomita kana keiki:
26 This Salomoth and his brethren [were] over all the sacred treasures, which David the king and the heads of families consecrated, [and] the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and princes of the host,
O ua Selomita la a me kona poe hoahanau, o lakou maluna o na ahu a pau o na mea laa, a ke alii a Davida me ka na makua'lii, na lunatausani, na lunahaneri, a mo na lunakaua i hoolaa ai.

29 For the Issaarites, Chonenia, and [his] sons [were over] the outward ministration over Israel, to record and to judge.

30 For the Chebronites, Asabias and his brethren, a thousand and seven hundred mighty men, [were] over the charge of Israel beyond Jordan westward, for all the service of the Lord and work of the king.

31 Of the [family] of Chebron Urias [was] chief, even of the Chebronites according to their generations, according to their families. In the forties year of his reign they were numbered, and there were found mighty men amongst them in Jazer of Galaad.
32 And his brethren [were] two thousand and seven hundred mighty men, chiefs of their families, and king David set them over the Rubenites, and the Gaddites, and the half-tribe of Manasse, for every ordinance of the Lord, and business of the king.
