Chronicles I 24
1 And [they number] the sons of Aaron in [their] division, Nadab, and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Nầy là ban thứ của con cháu A-rôn: Con trai của A-rôn là Na-đáp, A-bi-hu, Ê-lê-a-sa, và Y-tha-ma.
2 And Nadab and Abiud died before their father, and they had no sons: so Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron ministered as priests.
Na-đáp và A-bi-hu chết trước cha của chúng và không có con; nên Ê-lê-a-sa và Y-tha-ma làm chức thầy tế lễ.
3 And David distributed them, even Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Achimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their numbering, according to their service, according to the houses of their fathers.
Ða-vít khiến Xa-đốc, con cháu Ê-lê-a-sa, và A-hi-mê-léc, con cháu Y-tha-ma, phân ban thứ cho chúng tùy theo chức việc chúng làm.
4 And there were found [amongst] the sons of Eleazar more chiefs of the mighty ones, than of the sons of Ithamar: and he divided them, sixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar, eight according to [their] families to the sons of Ithamar.
Trong con cái Ê-lê-a-sa có nhiều trưởng tộc hơn trong con cháu Y-tha-ma; họ phân ban thứ như về: về con cháu Ê-lê-a-sa có mười sáu trưởng tộc.
5 And he divided them according to their lots, one with the other; for there were those who had charge of the holy things, and those who had charge of the [house] of the Lord amongst the sons of Eleazar, and amongst the sons of Ithamar.
Người ta bắt thăm phân chúng từng ban thứ, hoặc người nầy người kia; vì các trưởng của nơi thánh, và các trưởng của Ðức Chúa Trời đều thuộc trong con cháu Ê-lê-a-sa và trong con cháu Y-tha-ma.
6 And Samaias the son of Nathanael, the scribe, [of the family] of Levi, wrote them down before the king, and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Achimelech the son of Abiathar [were present]; and the heads of the families of the priests and the Levites, each of a household [were assigned] one to Eleazar, and one to Ithamar.
Sê-ma-gia, con trai của Na-tha-na-ên, người ký lục, thuộc trong chi phái Lê-vi, biên tên chúng vào sổ tại trước mặt vua và trước mặt các quan trưởng, trước mặt thầy tế lễ Xa-đốc, A-hi-mê-léc, con trai của A-bia-tha, và trước mặt các trưởng tộc của những thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi; trong con cháu Ê-lê-a-sa bắt thăm lấy một họ hàng, rồi trong con cháu Y-tha-ma cũng bắt thăm lấy một họ hàng.
7 And the first lot came out to Joarim, the second to Jedia,
Cái năm thứ nhứt trúng nhằm Giê-hô-gia-ríp; cái thăm thứ nhì nhằm Giê-đa-ê-gia;
8 the third to Charib, the fourth to Seorim,
cái thăm thứ ba nhằm Ha-rim; cái thăm thứ tư nhằm Sê-ô-rim;
9 the fifth to Melchias, the sixth to Meiamin,
cái thăm thứ năm nhằm Manh-kia; cái thăm thứ sáu nhằm Mia-min;
10 the seventh to Cos, the eighth to Abia,
cái thăm thứ bảy nhằm Cốt; cái thăm thứ tám nhằm A-bi-gia;
11 the ninth to Jesus, the tenth to Sechenias,
cái thăm thứ chín nhằm Giê-sua; cái thăm thứ mười nhằm Sê-ca-nia;
12 the eleventh to Eliabi, the twelfth to Jacim,
cái thăm thứ mười một nhằm Ê-li-a-síp; cái thăm thứ mười hai nhằm Gia-kim;
13 the thirteenth to Oppha, the fourteenth to Jesbaal,
cái thăm thứ mười ba nhằm Húp-ba; cái thăm thứ mười bốn nhằm Giê-sê-báp;
14 the fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,
cái thăm thứ mười lăm nhằm Binh-ga; cái thăm thứ mười sáu nhằm Y-mê;
15 the seventeenth to Chezin, the eighteenth to Aphese,
cái thăm thứ mười bảy nhằm Hê-xia; cái thăm thứ mười tám nhằm Phi-xết;
16 the nineteenth to Phetaea, the twentieth to Ezekel,
cái thăm thứ mười chín nhằm Phê-ta-hia, cái thăm thứ hai mươi nhằm Ê-xê-chi-ên;
17 the twenty-first to Achim, the twenty-second to Gamul,
cái thăm thứ hai mươi mốt nhằm Gia-kin; cái thăm thứ hai mươi hai nhằm Ga-mun;
18 the twenty-third to Adallai, the twenty-fourth to Maasai.
cái thăm thứ hai mươi ba nhằm Ðê-la-gia; cái thăm thứ hai mươi bốn nhằm Ma-a-xia.
19 This [is] their numbering according to their service to go into the house of the Lord, according to their appointment by the hand of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel commanded.
Ấy đó là ban thứ của chúng trong chức việc mình, đặng vào trong đền của Ðức Giê-hô-va, tùy theo lịnh của A-rôn, tổ phụ chúng, đã truyền cho, y như Giê-hô-va Ðức Chúa Trời của Y-sơ-ra-ên đã phán dặn người.
20 And for the sons of Levi that were left, [even] for the sons of Ambram, Sobael: for the sons of Sobael, Jedia.
Nầy là con cháu của Lê-vi còn lại: về con cháu Am-ram có Su-ba-ên; về con cháu Su-ba-ên có Giê-đia.
21 For Raabia, the chief [was Isaari],
Về con cháu Rê-ha-bia có Di-si-gia làm trưởng.
22 and for Isaari, Salomoth: for the sons of Salomoth, Jath.
Trong con cháu Dít-sê-ha có Sê-lô-mốt; về con cháu Sê-lô-mốt có Gia-hát.
23 The sons of Ecdiu; Amadia the second, Jaziel the third, Jecmoam the fourth.
Về con cháu Hếp-rôn có Giê-ri-gia, con trưởng; A-ma-ria thứ nhì, Gia-ha-xi-ên thứ ba, và Gia-ca-mê-am thứ tư.
24 For the sons of Oziel, Micha: the sons of Micha; Samer.
Về con cháu U-xi-ên có Mi-ca; về con cháu Mi-ca có Sa-mia.
25 The brother of Micha; Isia, the son of Isia; Zacharia.
Anh em của Mi-ca là Dít-hi-gia; về con cháu Dít-hi-gia có Xa-cha-ri.
26 The sons of Merari, Mooli, and Musi: the sons of Ozia,
Con trai Mê-ra-ri là Mác-li và Mu-si; con trai Gia-a-xi-gia là Bê-nô,
27 [That is, the sons] of Merari by Ozia, —his sons [were] Isoam, and Sacchur, and Abai.
con cháu của Mê-ra-ri là Bê-nô, Sô-ham, Xác-cua, và Y-bê-ri, đều là con trai của Gia-a-xi-gia.
28 To Mooli [were born] Eleazar, and Ithamar; and Eleazar died, and had no sons.
Con trai của Mác-li là Ê-lê-a-sa, là người không có con trai.
29 For Kis; the sons of Kis; Jerameel.
Về con cháu Kích có Giê-rác-mê-ên.
30 And the sons of Musi; Mooli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These [were] the sons of the Levites according to the houses of their families.
Con trai của Mu-si là Mác-li, Ê-đe và Giê-ri-mốt. Ấy đó là con cháu Lê-vi, tùy theo tông tộc của chúng.
31 And they also received lots as their brethren the sons of Aaron before the king; Sadoc also, and Achimelech, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and of the Levites, principal heads of families, even as their younger brethren.
Chúng cũng như anh em mình, là con cháu A-rôn, bắt thăm tại trước mặt vua Ða-vít, Xa-đốc, và A-hi-mê-léc, cùng trước mặt các trưởng tộc của những thầy tế lễ và người Lê-vi; các trưởng tộc cũng phải bắt thăm như các em út mình.
