Chronicles I 18
1 And it came to pass afterwards, that David struck the Philistines, and routed them, and took Geth and its villages out of the hand of the Philistines.
೧ದಾವೀದನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಹಾಕಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಂದ ಗತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
2 And he struck Moab; and the Moabites became servants to David, [and] tributaries.
೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ದಾಸರಾಗಿ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
3 And David struck Adraazar king of Suba of Emath, as he was going to establish power towards the river Euphrates.
೩ದಾವೀದನು ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹದರೆಜರನನ್ನು ಹಮಾತಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು.
4 And David took of them a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand infantry: and David houghed all the chariot [horses], but there were reserved of them a hundred chariots.
೪ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನ ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳುಸಾವಿರ ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು, ನೂರು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಉಳಿದ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಹಿಂಗಾಲಿನ ನರಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5 And the Syrian came from Damascus to help Adraazar king of Suba; and David struck of the Syrian [army] twenty and two thousand men.
೫ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹದದೆಜರನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಬಂದಾಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರನ್ನೂ ಸೋಲಿಸಿ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದನು.
6 And David put a garrison in Syria near Damascus; and they became tributary servants to David: and the Lord delivered David wherever he went.
೬ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಪ್ಪ ಕೊಡುವವರಾದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರೂ ವಿಜಯ ದೊರಕಿತು.
7 And David took the golden collars that were on the servants of Adraazar, and brought them to Jerusalem.
೭ದಾವೀದನು ಹದರೆಜರನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗಿದ್ದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
8 And David took out of Matabeth, and out of the chief cities of Adraazar very much brass: of this Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the brazen vessels.
೮ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಹದರೆಜರನ ಟಿಭತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೂನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಬಹಳ ತಾಮ್ರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆ ತಾಮ್ರದಿಂದ ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಡಲೆಂಬ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇರೆ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಇದೇ ತಾಮ್ರದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
9 And Thoa king of Emath heard that David had struck the whole force of Adraazar king of Suba.
೯ದಾವೀದನು ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹದದೆಜರನ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ಹಮಾತಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತೋವಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.
10 And he sent Aduram his son to king David to ask how he was, and to congratulate him because he had fought against Adraazar, and struck him; for Thoa was the enemy of Adraazar.
೧೦ತೋವಿಗೂ ಹದರೆಜನಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧವಿತ್ತು. ದಾವೀದನು ಹದದೆಜರನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ತೋವು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಹಾರೈಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹದೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಇವನು ಬರುವಾಗ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಿಧವಿಧವಾದ ತಾಮ್ರ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದನು.
11 And all the golden and silver and brazen vessels, even these king David consecrated to the Lord, with the silver and the gold which he took from all the nations; from Idumaea, and Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalec.
೧೧ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರು ಎಂಬೀ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಂದ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದನು.
12 And Abesa son of Saruia struck the Idumeans in the valley of Salt, eighteen thousand.
೧೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷೈಯು ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು.
13 And he put garrisons in the valley; and all the Idumaeans became David's servants: and the Lord delivered David wherever he went.
೧೩ದಾವೀದನು ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡುಗಳನ್ನಿರಿಸಿದನು. ಎದೋಮ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾವೀದನ ದಾಸರಾದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರೂ ಜಯದೊರಕಿತು.
14 So David reigned over all Israel; and he executed judgement and justice to all his people.
೧೪ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಧರ್ಮತಪ್ಪದೆ ನೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
15 And Joab the son of Saruia [was] over the army, and Josaphat the son of Achilud [was] recorder.
೧೫ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಅವನ ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯೂ, ಅಹೀಲೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಮಂತ್ರಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
16 And Sadoc son of Achitob, and Achimelech son of Abiathar, [were] the priests; and Susa [was] the scribe;
೧೬ಅಹೀಟೂಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನೂ ಅವನ ಯಾಜಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಶವ್ಷನು ಲೇಖಕನು.
17 and Banaeas the son of Jodae [was] over the Cherethite and the Phelethite, and the sons of David were the chief deputies of the king.
೧೭ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನು, ಕೆರೇತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪೆಲೇತ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡುಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದನು. ದಾವೀದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅರಸನ ಒಡ್ಡೋಲಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
