< Chronicles I 11 >
1 And all Israel came to David in Chebron, saying, Behold, we [are] your bones and your flesh.
Bato nyonso ya Isalaele basanganaki na Ebron, epai ya Davidi mpe balobaki: « Biso na yo, tozali nzoto moko mpe makila moko na yo.
2 And heretofore when Saul was king, you were he that led Israel in and out, and the Lord of Israel said to you, You shall feed my people Israel, and you shall be for a ruler over Israel.
Na kala, ezala na mikolo oyo Saulo azalaki mokonzi, yo nde ozalaki kokamba mampinga ya Isalaele na bitumba. Nzokande, Yawe, Nzambe na yo, alobaki na yo: ‹ Yo nde okokamba bato na Ngai, Isalaele, mpe okokoma mokambi na bango. › »
3 And all the elders of Israel came to the king to Chebron; and king David made a covenant with them in Chebron before the Lord: and they anointed David to be king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel.

4 And the king and his men went to Jerusalem, this [is] Jebus; and there the Jebusites the inhabitants of the land said to David,
Davidi mpe bato nyonso ya Isalaele bakendeki kobundisa Yelusalemi oyo bazalaki kobenga « Yebusi. » Bato oyo bazalaki kovanda kuna bazali bato ya Yebusi.
5 You shall not enter in hither. But he took the strong hold of Sion: this [is] the city of David.
Bavandi ya Yebusi balobaki na Davidi: « Okokota awa te! » Kasi Davidi abotolaki ndako makasi ya Siona, oyo ezali engumba ya Davidi.
6 And David said, Whoever first smites the Jebusite, even he shall be chief and captain. And Joab the son of Saruia went up first, and became chief.
Davidi alobaki na bato na ye: « Moto oyo akobundisa mpe akolonga bato ya Yebusi, akokoma mokonzi ya liboso ya basoda. » Joabi, mwana mobali ya Tseruya, atelemaki moto ya liboso mpo na kobundisa bato ya Yebusi mpe akomaki mokonzi ya liboso ya mampinga.
7 And David lived in the strong hold; therefore he called it the city of David.
Davidi avandaki na ndako yango oyo batonga makasi; yango wana babengaki yango « Engumba ya Davidi. »
8 And he fortified the city round about.
Mpe atongaki bandako zingazinga na yango, longwa na Milo kino na mir ya kati. Bongo Joabi abongisaki bisika oyo etikalaki kati na engumba.
9 And David continued to increase, and the Lord Almighty [was] with him.
Nguya ya Davidi ezalaki komata se komata, mpe Yawe, Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso, azalaki elongo na ye.
10 And these [are] the chiefs of the mighty men, whom David had, who strengthened [themselves] with him in his kingdom, with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel.
Tala bakombo ya bakonzi ya basoda ya mpiko ya Davidi oyo, elongo na Isalaele mobimba, basungaki ye mpo na kokomisa bokonzi na ye makasi, kolanda liloba oyo Yawe alobaki na tina na Isalaele.
11 And this [is] the list of the mighty [men] of David; Jesebada, son of Achaman, first of the thirty: he drew his sword once against three hundred whom he killed at one time.
Tala bakombo ya basoda ya mpiko ya Davidi: Yashobeami, mwana mobali ya Akimoni, azalaki mokonzi ya limpinga ya basoda misato ya mpiko; abomaki na likonga bato nkama misato na etumba moko.
12 And after him Eleazar son of Dodai, the Achochite: he was amongst the three mighty men.
Eleazari, mwana mobali ya Dodo, moto ya Aoyi: azalaki moko kati na limpinga ya basoda misato ya mpiko;
13 He was with David in Phasodamin, and the Philistines were gathered there to battle, and [there was] a portion of the field full of barley; and the people fled before the Philistines.
mpe azalaki elongo na Davidi, na engumba Pasi-Damini, tango bato ya Filisitia basanganaki mpo na bitumba, mpe basoda ya Isalaele bakimaki liboso na bango. Ezalaki kuna mpe na elanga moko etonda na bambuma ya orje.
14 And he stood in the midst of the portion, and rescued it, and struck the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great deliverance.
Kasi basoda ya Eleazari babombamaki kati na elanga, babundelaki yango mpe babomaki bato ya Filisitia. Yawe apesaki bango elonga monene.
15 And three of the thirty chiefs went down to the rock to David, to the cave of Odollam, and the camp of the Philistines [was] in the giants' valley.
Kati na basoda tuku misato ya mpiko, misato bayaki epai ya Davidi, na libanga monene oyo ezalaki pene ya ebombamelo ya mabanga ya Adulami. Nzokande, basoda ya bato ya Filisitia batongaki molako na bango kati na lubwaku ya bakitani ya Rafa.
16 And David [was] then in the hold, and the garrison of the Philistines [was] then in Bethleem.
Na tango yango, Davidi azalaki kati na ebombamelo moko batonga makasi, mpe basoda ya Filisitia bazalaki kati na Beteleemi.
17 And David longed, and said, Who will give me water to drink of the well of Bethleem, that is in the gate?
Mbala moko, Davidi ayokaki posa ya mayi mpe alobaki: « Nani akomemela ngai mayi ya libulu oyo ezali pene ya ekuke ya Beteleemi mpo ete namela? »
18 And the three broke through the camp of the Philistines, and they drew water out of the well that was in Bethleem, which was in the gate, and they took it, and came to David: but David would not drink it, and poured it out to the Lord, and said,
Basoda nyonso misato ya mpiko bakotaki na mayele kati na molako ya bato ya Filisitia, batokaki mayi na libulu oyo ezali pene ya ekuke ya Beteleemi mpe bamemaki yango epai ya Davidi. Kasi Davidi aboyaki komela mayi yango; asopaki yango na mabele lokola likabo ya masanga mpo na Yawe.
19 God forbid that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men with their lives? for with [the peril of] their lives they brought it. So he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty [men].
Davidi alobaki: « Tika ete Nzambe na ngai apesa ngai etumbu soki nameli mayi oyo! Boni, namela penza mayi oyo ezali lokola makila ya bato oyo bandimaki kokende mpe batekaki milimo na bango mpo ete batoka yango? » Davidi aboyaki komela mayi yango. Yango nde misala ya kokamwa oyo basoda misato ya mpiko basalaki.
20 And Abisa the brother of Joab, he was chief of three: he drew his sword against three hundred slain at one time, and he had a name amongst the [second] three.
Abishayi, ndeko mobali ya Joabi, azalaki mokonzi ya basoda misato ya mpiko. Abundisaki bato nkama misato na likonga na ye mpe abomaki bango. Boye, kati na bango misato, ye nde akendeki sango koleka.
21 He was more famous than the two [others] of the three, and he was chief [over] them; yet he reached not to the [first] three.
Kati na basoda misato ya mpiko ya limpinga ya mibale, ye nde azwaki lokumu koleka mpe akomaki mokonzi na bango, kasi akokanaki te na basoda misato ya limpinga ya liboso.
22 And Banaia the son of Jodae was the son of a mighty man: many [were] his acts for Cabasael: he struck two lion-like men of Moab, and he went down and struck a lion in a pit on a snowy day.
Benaya, moto ya mboka Kabitseli mpe mwana mobali ya Yeoyada, azalaki soda ya mpiko mpe asalaki makambo ebele ya kokamwa: abomaki bilombe mibale ya mboka Moabi; mpe na mokolo moko ya mvula ya pembe, akitaki na libulu moko ya mayi mpe abomaki kuna nkosi.
23 And he struck an Egyptian, a wonderful man five cubits [high]; and in the hand of the Egyptian [there was] a spear like a weavers' beam; and Banaia went down to him with a staff, and took the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and killed him with his own spear.
Ye mpe moto abomaki mbinga mobali moko ya Ejipito, oyo azalaki na bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano na molayi, mpe asimbaki na loboko na ye likonga moko lokola libaya oyo basali bilamba na maboko basalelaka. Abundisaki moto ya Ejipito na lingenda, abotolaki ye likonga oyo azalaki na yango na loboko mpe abomaki ye na likonga na ye moko.
24 These things did Banaia son of Jodae, and his name [was] amongst the three mighties.
Yango nde misala ya kokamwa oyo Benaya, mwana mobali ya Yeoyada, asalaki; ye mpe akendeki sango kati na basoda misato ya mpiko.
25 He was distinguished beyond the thirty, yet he reached not to the [first] three: and David set him over his family.
Kati na basoda tuku misato ya mpiko, ye nde azalaki na lokumu monene koleka, kasi akokanaki te na basoda misato ya mpiko ya limpinga ya liboso. Mpe Davidi akomisaki ye mokonzi ya bakengeli na ye.
26 And the mighty [men] of the forces [were], Asael the brother of Joab, Eleanan the son of Dodoe of Bethleem,
Basoda ya mpiko bazalaki: Asaeli, ndeko mobali ya Joabi; Elanani, mwana mobali ya Dodo, moto ya Beteleemi;
27 Samaoth the Arorite, Chelles the Phelonite,
Shamoti, moto ya Arori; Eletsi, moto ya Peloni;
28 Ora the son of Ekkis the Thecoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,
Ira, mwana mobali ya Ikeshi, moto ya Tekoa; Abiezeri, moto ya Anatoti;
29 Sobochai the Usathite, Eli the Achonite,
Sibekayi, moto ya Usha; Ilayi, moto ya Aoyi;
30 Marai the Netophathite, Chthaod the son of Nooza the Netophathite,
Maarayi, moto ya Netofa; Eledi, mwana mobali ya Baana, moto ya Netofa;
31 Airi the son of Rebie of the hill of Benjamin, Banaias the Pharathonite,
Itayi, mwana mobali ya Ribayi, moto ya Gibea ya libota ya Benjame; Benaya, moto ya Piratoni;
32 Uri of Nachali Gaas, Abiel the Garabaethite,
Urayi, moto ya mabwaku ya Gashi; Abieli, moto ya Beti-Ariba;
33 Azbon the Baromite, Eliaba the Salabonite,
Azimaveti, moto ya Baarumi; Eliaba, moto ya Shaaliboni;
34 the son of Asam the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Sola the Ararite,
Beni-Ashemi, moto ya Gizoni; Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Shage, moto ya Arari;
35 Achim the son of Achar the Ararite, Elphat the son of Thyrophar
Ayami, mwana mobali ya Sakari, moto ya Arari; Elifali, mwana mobali ya Uri;
36 the Mechorathrite, Achia the Phellonite,
Eferi, moto ya Mekera; Ayiya, moto ya Peloni;
37 Esere the Charmadaite, Naarai the son of Azobai,
Etsiro, moto ya Karimeli; Naarayi, mwana mobali ya Ezibayi;
38 Joel the son of Nathan, Mebaal son of Agari,
Joeli, ndeko mobali ya Natan; Mibiari, mwana mobali ya Agiri;
39 Sele the son of Ammoni, Nachor the Berothite, armour-bearer to the son of Saruia,
Tseleki, moto ya Amoni; Naarayi, moto ya Beroti, oyo azalaki komema bibundeli ya Joabi, mwana mobali ya Tseruya;
40 Ira the Jethrite, Gaber the Jethrite,
Ira mpe Garebi, bato ya Yeteri;
41 Uria the Chettite, Zabet son of Achaia,
Iri, moto ya Iti; Zabadi, mwana mobali ya Akilayi;
42 Adina son of Saeza, a chief of Ruben, and thirty with him,
Adina, mwana mobali ya Shiza ya ekolo ya Ribeni mpe mokambi ya mampinga tuku misato ya mpiko;
43 Anan the son of Moocha, and Josaphat the Matthanite,
Anani, mwana mobali ya Maaka; Jozafati, moto ya Mitini;
44 Ozia the Astarothite, Samatha and Jeiel sons of Chotham the Ararite,
Uzia, moto ya Ashitaroti; Shama mpe Yeyeli, bana mibali ya Otami, moto ya Aroeri;
45 Jediel the son of Sameri, and Jozae his brother the Thosaite,
Yediayeli, mwana mobali ya Shimiri; Yoa, ndeko na ye ya mobali, moto ya Tishi;
46 Eliel the Maoite, and Jaribi, and Josia his son, Ellaam, and Jethama the Moabite,
Elieli, moto ya Maavimi; Yeribayi mpe Yoshavia, bana mibali ya Elinaami; Yitima, moto ya Moabi;
47 Daliel, and Obeth, and Jessiel of Mesobia.
Elieli, Obedi mpe Yaasieli, bato ya Metsobaya.
