4 Noe: the sons of Noe, Sem, Cham, Japheth.

5 The sons of Japheth, Gamer, Magog, Madaim, Jovan, Helisa, Thobel, Mosoch, and Thiras.
Sinovi Jafetovi: Gomer, Magog, Madaj, Javan, Tubal, Mešek i Tiras.
6 And the sons of Gamer, Aschanaz, and Riphath, and Thorgama.
Gomerovi sinovi: Aškenaz, Rifat i Togarma.
7 And the sons of Jovan, Helisa, and Tharsis, the Citians, and Rhodians.
Javanovi sinovi: Eliša, Taršiš, Kitijci i Dodanci.
8 And the sons of Cham, Chus, and Mesraim, Phud and Chanaan.
Hamovi sinovi: Kuš, Misrajim, Put i Kanaan.
9 And the sons of Chus, Saba, and Evila, and Sabatha, and Regma, and Sebethaca: and the sons of Regma, Saba, and Dadan.
Kuševi sinovi: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Rama i Sabteka; Ramini sinovi: Šeba i Dedan.
10 And Chus begot Nebrod: he began to be a mighty hunter on the earth.
Kušu se rodi Nimrod, koji bijaše prvi vlastodržac na zemlji.
Od Misrajima potekli su Ludijci, Anamijci, Lehabijci, Neftuhijci,
Patrušani i Kasluhijci, od kojih su potekli Filistejci i Kaftorci.
Kanaan rodi Sidona, svog prvenca, i Heta,
i Jebusejce, Amorejce, Girgašane,
Hivijce, Arkijce, Sinijce,
Arvadijce, Semarijce i Hamatijce.
17 The sons of Sem, Aelam, and Assur,
Šemovi sinovi: Elam, Ašur, Arpakšad, Lud i Aram. Aramovi sinovi: Us, Hul, Geter i Mešek.
18 and Arphaxad, Sala,
Arpakšadu se rodi Šelah, Šelahu se rodi Eber.
Eberu se rodiše dva sina: jednom bješe ime Peleg, jer se za njegova doba razdijelila zemlja. Njegovu je bratu bilo ime Joktan.
Od Joktana se rodiše Almodad, Šelef, Hasarmavet, Jerah,
Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla,
Obal, Abimael, Šeba,
Ofir, Havila i Jobab. Svi su to sinovi Joktanovi.

25 Eber, Pheleg, Ragan,
Eber, Peleg, Rau,
26 Seruch, Nachor, Tharrha,
Serug, Nahor, Tarah,
27 Abraam.
Abram, to jest Abraham.
28 And the sons of Abraam, Isaac, and Ismael.
Abrahamovi sinovi: Izak i Jišmael.
29 And these [are] their generations: the firstborn of Ismael, Nabaeoth, and Kedar, Nabdeel, Massam,
Ovo je njihovo rodoslovlje: Jišmaelov prvenac Nebajot, zatim Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
30 Masma, Iduma, Masse, Chondan, Thaeman,
Mišma, Duma, Masa, Hadad, Tema,
31 Jettur, Naphes, Kedma: these [are] the sons of Ismael.
Jetur, Nafiš i Kedma. To su Jišmaelovi sinovi.
32 And the sons of Chettura Abraam's concubine: —and she bore him Zembram, Jexan, Madiam, Madam, Sobac, Soe: and the sons of Jexan; Daedan, and Sabai;
Sinovi Keture, Abrahamove inoče: ona rodi Zimrana, Jokšana, Medana, Midjana, Jišbaka i Šuaha. Sinovi Jokšanovi jesu: Šeba i Dedan.
33 and the sons of Madiam; Gephar, and Opher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldada; all these [were] the sons of Chettura.
Midjanovi su sinovi bili: Efa, Efer, Henok, Abida i Eldaa. Svi su oni bili Keturini sinovi.
34 And Abraam begot Isaac: and the sons of Isaac [were] Jacob, and Esau.
Abrahamu se rodi Izak; Izakovi su sinovi bili: Ezav i Izrael.
35 The sons of Esau, Eliphaz, and Raguel, and Jeul, and Jeglom, and Core.
Ezavovi su sinovi bili: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeuš, Jalam i Korah.
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Thaeman, and Omar, Sophar, and Gootham, and Kenez, and Thamna, and Amalec.
Elifazovi su sinovi bili: Teman, Omar, Sefi, Gatan, Kenaz, Timna i Amalek.
37 And the sons of Raguel, Naches, Zare, Some, and Moze.
Reuelovi su sinovi bili: Nahat, Zerah, Šama i Miza.
38 The sons of Seir, Lotan, Sobal, Sebegon, Ana, Deson, Osar, and Disan.
Seirovi su sinovi bili: Lotan, Šobal, Sibeon, Ana, Dišon, Eser i Dišan.
39 And the sons of Lotan, Chorri, and Aeman; and the sister of Lotan [was] Thamna.
Lotanovi su sinovi bili: Hori i Homam; Lotanova je sestra bila Timna.
40 The sons of Sobal; Alon, Machanath, Taebel, Sophi, and Onan: and the sons of Sebegon; Aeth, and Sonan.
Šobalovi su sinovi bili: Alvan, Manahat, Ebal, Šefi i Onam. Sibeonovi su sinovi bili: Aja i Ana.
41 The sons of Sonan, Daeson: and the sons of Daeson; Emeron, and Asebon, and Jethram, and Charran.
Anin je sin bio Dišon, a Dišonovi su sinovi bili: Hamram, Ešban, Jitran i Keran.
42 And the sons of Hosar, Balaam, and Zucam, and Acan: the sons of Disan, Os, and Aran.
Eserovi su sinovi bili: Bilhan, Zaavan i Jaakan. Dišonovi su sinovi bili Us i Aran.
43 And these [are] their kings, Balac the son of Beor; and the name of his city [was] Dennaba.
Evo kraljeva koji su kraljevali u zemlji edomskoj prije nego je zavladao kralj sinova Izraelovih: Bela, sin Beorov; gradu mu je bilo ime Dinhaba.
44 And Balac died, and Jobab the son of Zara of Bosorrha reigned in his stead.
Kad je umro Bela, na njegovo se mjesto zakraljio Jobab, sin Zareha iz Bosre.
45 And Jobab died, and Asom of the land of the Thaemanites reigned in his stead.
Kad je umro Jobab, zakraljio se na njegovo mjesto Hušam iz temanske zemlje.
46 And Asom died, and Adad the son of Barad reigned in his stead, who struck Madiam in the plain of Moab: and the name of his city [was] Gethaim.

47 And Adad died, and Sebla of Masecca reigned in his stead.

48 And Sebla died, and Saul of Rhoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
Kad je umro Samla, zakraljio se na njegovo mjesto Šaul iz Rehobota na Rijeci.
49 And Saul died, and Balaennor son of Achobor reigned in his stead.
Kad umrije Šaul, zavlada Baal Hanan, Akborov sin.
50 And Balaennor died, and Adad son of Barad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city [was] Phogor.
Kad je umro Baal Hanan, zavladao je Hadad; gradu mu je bilo ime Pai. Žena mu se zvala Mehetabela. Bila je kći Matredova iz Me Zahaba.
51 The princes of Edom: prince Thamna, prince Golada, prince Jether,
Kad je umro Hadad, nastali su knezovi u Edomu: knez Timna, knez Alva, knez Jetet,
52 prince Elibamas, prince Elas, prince Phinon,
knez Oholibama, knez Ela, knez Pinon,
53 prince Kenez, prince Thaeman, prince Babsar, prince Magediel,
knez Kenaz, knez Teman, knez Mibsar,
54 prince Zaphoin. These [are] the princes of Edom.
