Psalms 97
1 For David, when his land is established. The Lord reigns, let the earth exult, let many islands rejoice.
Yehova akulamulira, dziko lapansi lisangalale; magombe akutali akondwere.
2 Cloud, and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the establishment of his throne.
Mitambo ndi mdima waukulu zamuzungulira; chilungamo ndi kuweruza molungama ndiwo maziko a mpando wake waufumu.
3 Fire shall go before him, and burn up his enemies round about.
Moto umapita patsogolo pake ndi kunyeketsa amaliwongo kumbali zonse.
4 His lightnings appeared to the world; the earth saw, and trembled.
Zingʼaningʼani zake zimawalitsa dziko lonse; dziko lapansi limaona ndipo limanjenjemera.
5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Mapiri amasungunuka ngati phula pamaso pa Yehova, pamaso pa Ambuye a dziko lonse lapansi.
6 The heavens have declared his righteousness, and all the people have seen his glory.
Mayiko akumwamba amalengeza za chilungamo chake, ndipo mitundu yonse ya anthu imaona ulemerero wake.
7 Let all that worship graven images be ashamed, who boast of their idols; worship him, all ye his angels.
Onse amene amalambira mafano osema amachititsidwa manyazi, iwo amene amanyadira mafano; mulambireni, inu milungu yonse!
8 Sion heard and rejoiced; and the daughters of Judea exulted, because of thy judgments, O Lord.
Ziyoni akumva ndipo akukondwera, midzi ya Yuda ikusangalala chifukwa cha maweruzo anu Yehova.
9 For thou art Lord most high over all the earth; thou art greatly exalted above all gods.
Pakuti Inu Yehova ndi Wammwambamwamba pa dziko lonse lapansi; ndinu wokwezeka kupambana milungu yonse.
10 Ye that love the Lord, hate evil; the Lord preserves the souls of his saints; he shall deliver them from the hand of sinners.
Iwo amene amakonda Yehova adane ndi zoyipa pakuti Iye amayangʼanira miyoyo ya amene amamukhulupirira ndipo amawapulumutsa mʼdzanja la anthu oyipa
11 Light is sprung up for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
Kuwala kumafika pa anthu olungama, ndi chimwemwe kwa olungama mtima.
12 Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give thanks for a remembrance of his holiness.
Kondwerani mwa Yehova Inu olungama ndipo tamandani dzina lake loyera.
