Psalms 89
1 [A Psalm] of instruction for Aetham the Israelite. I will sing of thy mercies, O Lord, for ever: I will declare thy truth with my mouth to all generations.
Keiman Pakai mingailutna longlou thuhi vahchoilan sajing tange, khangdong hole tehse hon nakitahna hi ajauvin ahi.
2 For thou hast said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy truth shall be established in the heavens.
Nami ngailutna longlou hi itih hijongleh umjing ding ahi. Nakitah nahi vanho bangin aumjinge.
3 I made a covenant with my chosen ones, I sware unto David my servant.
Pakai in hitin asei e “kalhendoh kasohpa David toh kitepna kanabol ahi. Hiche kitepna a hi kana kihahsel ahi.
4 I will establish thy seed for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. (Pause)
Keiman nachilhahte chu lenga katun jingding ahi. Amaho nalaltouna a chu tuapat tonsot gei a toujingdiu ahi”.
5 The heavens shall declare thy wonders, O Lord; and thy truth in the assembly of the saints.
Pakai van mite jousen nakidan nahohi navahchoi diu ahi. Nakitahna ho jeh’a hi simjoulou vantilten navahchoi diu ahi.
6 For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? and who shall be likened to the Lord among the sons of God?
Ajeh chu van gam'a umho jouse koipen tah hi Pakai toh tekah thei umbeh am? Vantil thupipen ho jengjong Pakai toh tekah pithei um’am?
7 God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible toward all that are round about him.
Vantil thaneipen hojong Pathen ang’a kithing thinga ahibouve. Amahi alaltouna vel'a dingho jousen jong agimnei na aphapouve.
8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee.
O Pakai hatchungnung sepai ho! Hoilai mun a nang tobanga thanei a umbeh am Pakai? Nanghi kitahna lhingset nahi.
9 Thou rulest the power of the sea; and thou calmest the tumult of its waves.
Twikhanglen jong nathanei na noia umma ahi. Nangin huipi le twipi kithoa twi kinong jong nasutang’in,
10 Thou has brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of thy power thou has scattered thine enemies.
twikhanglen’a umsa lenpen hojong na sugep in, Naban thahat in nagal mite jong nahocheh jitai.
11 The heavens are thine, and the earth is thine: thou hast founded the world, and the fullness of it.
Vanho jouse jong nanga ahin, leiset jong nanga ahi, vannoi a um thiljouse jong aboncha nanga ahin nangin nasem ahi.
12 Thou hast created the north and the west: Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
Nangin sahlang lhanglang jong nasem ahin, Tabor Mol leh Hermon mol’in jong naming athangvah ahi.
13 Thine is the mighty arm: let thy hand be strengthened, let thy right hand be exalted.
Nabantha hi iti hat hitam! Nakhut hi iti hat hitam! Najetlang jonghi nathahat loupitah’in adomsange.
14 Justice and judgment are the establishment of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Chonphat nale thudih chu nalaltouna khombul ahi. Longlou ngailutna le kitahna chu nalhachate bangin na ang sungah avahlen ahi.
15 Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.
Pathen houna dinga kipa umtah kouna jaho chu anunnom ahiuve, ajeh chu Pakai amahohi naumpi na vah'a lhalediu ahi.
16 And in thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
Naminthan na kidangtah hohi amahon nilhum kei keija akipapi diu ahi. Amahon nachonphatna hi akithang atpiuvin ahi.
17 For thou art the boast of their strength; and in thy good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,
Nangma hi amaho dinga thahatna loupitah chu nahi. Keiho thahatsah dinghi nangma kipana ahi.
18 for [our] help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our king.
Ahi, keiho hoidohna hi Pakai a kon ahi. Chuleh Israel Pathen hin lengjong eipeh u ahi.
19 Then thou spokest in vision to thy children, and saidst, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of my people.
Masang lai in kitah tah a nangma jui namipite lah-a gaothu nana seijin ahi. Nangin nasei in, “Keiman galsat ding kanalhengdoh’in keiman milhamho lah a kona lengding jong kanalhendoh ahi.
20 I have found David my servant; I have anointed him by [my] holy mercy.
Keiman kasoh David kana mudoh’in chuleh kathaotheng kana nun ahi”
21 For my hand shall support him; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
Keiman kakhut a kana dindoh sah a, kaban thahatna kahatdoh sahding ahi.
22 The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.
Agal miten ajoloudiu ahilouleh miphalou honjong athajou loudiu ahi.
23 And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.
Keiman akidoupi hohi amasang tah a kasuhlhuh ding ahin chuleh ama douho jouse jong kasuhmang ding ahi.
24 But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
Kakitahna leh kangailutna longlou hin aumpi jingding kathuneina jal'a amahi atha kahatsah jingding ahi.
25 And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
Keiman twikhanglen chunga jong athaneina kalhunlut ding vadung ho chung jenga jong vai ahomding ahi.
26 He shall call upon me, [saying], Thou art my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.
Chutengleh aman eihin kou intin, “Nangma kapa nahin ka Pathen, kasongpi le kasochatna nahi” atiding ahi.
27 And I will make him [my] first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.
Keiman amahi kachapa masapen, leiset chunga leng thaneipen kahisah ding,
28 I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant [shall be] firm with him.
Kangailut ding chuleh tonsot gei a kakhoto ding, amatoh kaki tepna hi angahtih umlouding ahi.
29 And I will establish his seed for ever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
Keiman ama dinga ason apah ho kahoibit pehding, van gam’a nikhon beitih aneilou banga alaltounan jong beitih aneilouding ahi.
30 If his children should forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
Ahinlah achilhahten kathuhil hohi apaidoh uva, kachedan hi ajuilou uva,
31 if they should profane my ordinances, and not keep my commandments;
kadaan semhohi anit lou uva chuleh kathupeh hi angailou uleh,
32 I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.
keiman achonsetnao chunga gambol na mol kalap ding, chuleh athungailou naojeh-a kavoh diu ahi.
33 But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong my truth.
Hijeng jongle kangailutna chu beideh louding kakitepna jong achunga kasuhmil deh louding ahi.
34 Neither will I by any means profane my covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips.
Ahipoi, kakitepna chu kasuhkeh louding ahi; keiman kana seidoh saho chu changkhat jong kanung lahdoh louding ahi.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie to David.
Keiman David kommah kihahselna khat kana nei in chule atheng kahi jeh in jou seiponge.
36 His see shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
Ama chilhahte itihchan hijongleh chelha jingding alenggam jong nisa banga chelhumding ahi.
37 and as the moon [that is] established for ever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. (Pause)
Vantham jolla kahettohsah nachu lhavah banga kikheltih aneitah louding ahi.
38 But thou hast cast off and set at nought, thou has rejected thine anointed.
Ahinlah nangin tuhin amachu nakahdoh tan chuleh napaidoh tai. Tuhin Nangma nathaonu lengpa chungah nalunghang tan,
39 Thou hast overthrown the covenant of thy servant; thou has profaned his sanctuary, [casting it] to the ground.
nangin Ama toh nakitepna napaidohtan, nangin alal lukhuh jong vutvai lah-a nasep lhatai.
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast made his strong holds a terror.
Nangin akhopiu bangho navohlhah pehtan chuleh akulpiu jong khogem nasodohsah ahitai.
41 All that go by the way have spoiled him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
Koi hileh ahin hopa jousen athilkeu u akichomgam hellun aheng akomho jousen anuisat’un ahi.
42 Thou hast exalted the right hand of his enemies; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
Nangin agal miteu galjona namusahin, abonchauvin nakipasah’in ahi.
43 Thou hast turned back the help of his sword, and hast not helped him in the battle.
Nangin agal manchah u manmo naso’in chuleh galmunnah gal nalelsah’in ahi.
44 Thou hast deprived him of glory: thou hast broken down his throne to the ground.
Nangin aleng tenggol nalahpehin chuleh alaltouna tolsenan naneipeh in ahi.
45 Thou hast shortened the days of his throne: thou hast poured shame upon him. (Pause)
Nangin aphat achang louvin natehset sah’in chuleh jumthet in nalhan ahi.
46 How long, O Lord, wilt thou turn away, for ever? shall thine anger flame out as fire?
Pakai nangma hi hitiahi kisel jing jingding nahi hitam? Ichangei nalunghanna meikong jing jeng dingham?
47 Remember what my being is: for hast thou created all the sons of men in vain?
Kahinkho hi itihchom a hitam geldoh’in, keihohi thitei dinga neisem’u ahi ti geldoh’in!
48 What man is there who shall live, and not see death? shall [any one] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? (Pause) (Sheol h7585)
Mihing koihi athi theilou ding um’am? Mihem koipen ham lhan a kon a ahoidohthei dingah? (Sheol h7585)
49 Where are thine ancient mercies, O Lord, which thou swarest to David in thy truth?
Pakai tumasanga neingailutnau chu ahet theina mudohthei ipi umam? David komma nakitepna hohi hoilang geija hitam?
50 Remember, O Lord, the reproach of thy servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;
Nasohpa keimahi ichan gei a jumna kato hitam? Hiche nangma hedohlou mitehin eisapsetnau ichan gei a kathoh hitam?
51 wherewith thine enemies have reviled, O Lord: wherewith they have reviled the recompense of thine anointed.
O Pakai nadeilhen nalengpa hi nangma dou miten nahsah loutah’in abollun ahi! Achena chan a asujum un ahi.
52 Blessed be the Lord for ever. So be it, so be it.
Pakai chu thangvah in umjing jenghen! Amen, Amen!
