Psalms 86

1 A Prayer of David. O Lord, incline thine ear, and hearken to me; for I am poor and needy.

Àdúrà ti Dafidi. Gbọ́, Olúwa, kí o sì dá mi lóhùn, nítorí mo jẹ́ tálákà àti aláìní.

2 Preserve my soul, for I am holy; save thy servant, O God, who hopes in thee.

Dáàbò bò ayé mi, nítorí a ti yà mí sọ́tọ̀ fún ọ: ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run mi, gbà ìránṣẹ́ rẹ là tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ọ.

3 Pity me, O Lord: for to thee will I cry all the day.

Ṣàánú fún mi, Olúwa, nítorí èmi ń pè ọ́ ní gbogbo ọjọ́.

4 Rejoice the sold of thy servant: for to thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.

Mú ayọ̀ wà fún ìránṣẹ́ rẹ, nítorí ìwọ, Olúwa, ni mo gbé ọkàn mí sókè sí.

5 For thou, O Lord, art kind, and gentle; and plenteous in mercy to all that call upon thee.

Ìwọ ń dáríjì, ìwọ sì dára, Olúwa, ìwọ sì ṣàánú fún gbogbo àwọn tí ń ké pè ọ́.

6 Give ear to my prayer, o Lord; and attend to the voice of my supplication.

Gbọ́ àdúrà mi, Olúwa; tẹ́tí sí ẹkún mi fún àánú.

7 In the day of my trouble I cried to thee: for thou didst hear me.

Ní ọjọ́ ìpọ́njú mi èmi yóò pè ọ́, nítorí ìwọ yóò dá mi lóhùn.

8 There is none like to thee, O Lord, among the god; and there are no [works] like to thy works.

Nínú àwọn òrìṣà kò sí ẹni tí ó dàbí i rẹ, Olúwa: kò sí àwọn iṣẹ́ tí a lè fiwé tìrẹ.

9 All nations whom thou hast made shall come, and shall worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Gbogbo àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí ìwọ dá yóò wá láti wá jọ́sìn níwájú rẹ, Olúwa; wọn ó mú ògo wà fún orúkọ rẹ̀.

10 For thou art great, and doest wonders: thou art the only [and] the great God.

Nítorí pé ìwọ tóbi, ìwọ sì ń ṣe ohun ìyanu; ìwọ nìkan ni Ọlọ́run.

11 Guide me, O Lord, in thy way, and I will walk in thy truth: let my heart rejoice, that I may fear thy name.

Kọ́ mi ní ọ̀nà rẹ, Olúwa, èmi ó sì máa rìn nínú òtítọ́ rẹ; fún mi ní ọkàn tí kì í yapa, kí èmi kí ó ba lè bẹ̀rù orúkọ rẹ.

12 I will give thee thanks, O Lord my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for ever.

Èmi ó yìn ọ́, Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi, pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọkàn mi; èmi ó fògo fún orúkọ rẹ títí láé.

13 For thy mercy is great toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. (Sheol h7585)

Nítorí títóbi ni ìfẹ́ rẹ si mi; ìwọ ti gbà mí kúrò nínú ọ̀gbun isà òkú. (Sheol h7585)

14 O God, transgressors have risen up against me, and an assembly of violent [men] have sought my life; and have not set thee before them.

Àwọn onígbèéraga ń dojúkọ mí, Ọlọ́run; àti ìjọ àwọn alágbára ń wá ọkàn mi kiri, wọn kò sì fi ọ́ pè.

15 But thou, O Lord God, art compassionate and merciful, long-suffering, and abundant in mercy and true.

Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ, Olúwa, jẹ́ aláàánú àti Ọlọ́run olójúrere, Ó lọ́ra láti bínú, Ó sì pọ̀ ní ìfẹ́ àti òtítọ́.

16 Look thou upon me, and have mercy upon me: give thy strength to thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

Yípadà sí mi kí o sì ṣàánú fún mi; fún àwọn ènìyàn rẹ ní agbára kí o sì gba ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin ìránṣẹ́bìnrin rẹ là.

17 Establish with me a token for good; and let them that hate me see [it] and be ashamed; because thou, O Lord, hast helped me, and comforted me.

Fi àmì hàn mí fún rere, kí àwọn tí ó kórìíra mi lè ri, kí ojú lè tì wọ́n, nítorí ìwọ Olúwa ni ó ti tù mí nínú.
