Psalms 71
1 By David, [a Psalm sung by] the sons of Jonadab, and the first that were taken captive. O Lord, I have hoped in thee: let me never be put to shame.
হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি তোমাতে আশ্রয় নিয়েছি; আমাকে কখনও লজ্জিত হতে দিয়ো না।
2 In thy righteousness deliver me and rescue me: incline thine ear to me, and save me.
তোমার ধার্মিকতায়, আমাকে রক্ষা করো আর উদ্ধার করো; আমার দিকে কর্ণপাত করো আর আমাকে রক্ষা করো।
3 Be to me a protecting God, and a strong hold to save me: for thou art my fortress and my refuge.
তুমি আমার আশ্রয় শৈল হও, যেখানে আমি সর্বদা যেতে পারি; আমাকে রক্ষা করার জন্য আদেশ দাও, কারণ তুমি আমার শৈল ও আমার উচ্চদুর্গ।
4 Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the sinner, from the hand of the transgressor and unjust man.
হে আমার ঈশ্বর, দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে, মন্দ ও নিষ্ঠুরদের কবল থেকে আমাকে উদ্ধার করো।
5 For thou art my support, O Lord; O Lord, [thou art] my hope from my youth.
কারণ, হে সার্বভৌম ঈশ্বর, তুমিই আমার আশা, আমার যৌবনকাল থেকে তুমি আমার আত্মবিশ্বাস।
6 On thee have I been stayed from the womb: from the belly of my mother thou art my protector: of thee is my praise continually.
জন্ম থেকে আমি তোমার উপর নির্ভর করেছি; তুমি আমাকে আমার মাতৃগর্ভ থেকে বের করে এনেছ। আমি চিরকাল তোমার প্রশংসা করব।
7 I am become as it were a wonder to many: but thou art [my] strong helper.
আমি অনেকের কাছে নিদর্শন হয়েছি; তুমি আমার শক্তিশালী আশ্রয়।
8 Let my mouth be filled with praise, that I may hymn thy glory, [and] thy majesty all the day.
আমার মুখ তোমার প্রশংসায় পূর্ণ, আর সারাদিন তোমার মহিমা প্রচার করে।
9 Cast me not off at the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.
যখন আমি বৃদ্ধ হব আমাকে দূরে সরিয়ে দিয়ো না; যখন আমার শক্তি ক্ষয় হবে তখন আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কোরো না।
10 For mine enemies have spoken against me; and they that lay wait for my soul have taken counsel together,
কারণ আমার শত্রুরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলে; যারা আমাকে হত্যা করার জন্য অপেক্ষা করে তারা একত্রে ষড়যন্ত্র করে।
11 saying, God has forsaken him: persecute ye and take him; for there is none to deliver [him].
তারা বলে, “ঈশ্বর তাকে পরিত্যাগ করেছেন; ওর পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করো আর ওকে বন্দি করো, কারণ কেউ তাকে উদ্ধার করবে না।”
12 O God, go not far from me, O my God, draw nigh to my help.
হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার থেকে দূরে থেকো না; তাড়াতাড়ি এসো, হে ঈশ্বর, আমাকে সাহায্য করো।
13 Let those that plot against my soul be ashamed and utterly fail: let those that seek my hurt be clothed with shame and dishonour.
আমার অভিযোগকারীরা লজ্জায় বিনষ্ট হোক; যারা আমার ক্ষতি করতে চায় তারা অবজ্ঞা আর ঘৃণায় আবৃত হোক।
14 But I will hope continually, and will praise thee more and more.
কিন্তু আমি, সর্বদা আশা রাখব; আমি উত্তর উত্তর তোমার প্রশংসা করব।
15 My mouth shall declare thy righteousness openly, [and] thy salvation all the day; for I am not acquainted with the affairs [of men].
যদিও আমি বাক্যে সুদক্ষ নই তবুও আমার মুখ তোমার ধর্মশীলতা আর সারাদিন তোমার পরিত্রাণ কার্যাবলি প্রচার করবে।
16 I will go on in the might of the Lord: O Lord, I will make mention of thy righteousness only.
হে সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু, আমি এসে তোমার পরাক্রমী কার্যাবলি প্রচার করব; তোমার, কেবল তোমারই, ধার্মিক ক্রিয়াকলাপের কথা আমি প্রচার করব।
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and until now will I declare thy wonders;
আমার যৌবনকাল থেকে, হে ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছ, আর এই দিন পর্যন্ত আমি তোমার চমৎকার কার্যাবলি ঘোষণা করি।
18 even until I am old and advanced in years. O God, forsake me not; until I shall have declared thine arm to all the generation that is to come:
যখন আমি বৃদ্ধ হই আর আমার চুল ধুসর হয়, হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কোরো না; যতদিন না পর্যন্ত আমি তোমার শক্তি আগামী প্রজন্মের কাছে আর যারা আসবে তাদের কাছে তোমার পরাক্রম ঘোষণা করতে পারি।
19 even thy power and thy righteousness, O God, up to the highest [heavens, even] the mighty works which thou has done: O God, who is like to thee?
হে ঈশ্বর, তোমার ধার্মিকতা আকাশমণ্ডল পর্যন্ত পৌঁছায়, তুমি মহান কর্ম সাধন করেছ। হে ঈশ্বর, তোমার মতো কে আছে?
20 What afflictions many and sore hast thou shewed me! yet thou didst turn and quicken me, and broughtest me again from the depths of the earth.
যদিও তুমি আমাকে অনেক তিক্ত কষ্ট দেখিয়েছ, তুমি আমার জীবন পুনরুদ্ধার করবে; তুমি আমাকে পৃথিবীর গভীরস্থান থেকে আবার বের করে আনবে।
21 Thou didst multiply thy righteousness, and didst turn and comfort me, and broughtest me again out of the depths of the earth.
আর একবার তুমি আমার সম্মান ও স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য বৃদ্ধি করবে।
22 I will also therefore give thanks to thee, O God, [because of] thy truth, on an instrument of psalmody: I will sing psalms to thee on the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
হে ঈশ্বর, তোমার বিশ্বস্ততার জন্য আমি বীণা সহযোগে তোমার প্রশংসা করব; হে ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্রজন, সুরবাহার দিয়ে আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করব।
23 My lips shall rejoice when I sing to thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
আমার ঠোঁট উচ্চধ্বনি করবে আর তোমার প্রশংসা করবে কারণ তুমি আমাকে মুক্ত করেছ।
24 Moreover also my tongue shall dwell all the day upon thy righteousness; when they shall be ashamed and confounded that seek my hurt.
সারাদিন আমার জিভ তোমার ধর্মশীলতার কথা বলবে, কারণ যারা আমার ক্ষতি করতে চেয়েছিল তারা লজ্জিত ও অপমানিত হয়েছে।
