Psalms 70

1 For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw nigh, O God, to my help.

聖歌隊の指揮者によってうたわせたダビデの記念の歌 神よ、みこころならばわたしをお救いください。主よ、すみやかにわたしをお助けください。

2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

わたしのいのちをたずね求める者どもを恥じあわてさせてください。わたしのそこなわれることを願う者どもをうしろに退かせ、恥を負わせてください。

3 Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

「あはぁ、あはぁ」と言う者どもを自分の恥によって恐れおののかせてください。

4 Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

すべてあなたを尋ね求める者はあなたによって喜び楽しむように。あなたの救を愛する者はつねに「神は大いなるかな」ととなえるように。

5 But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.

しかし、わたしは貧しく、かつ乏しい。神よ、急いでわたしに来てください。あなたはわが助け、わが救主です。主よ、ためらわないでください。
