Psalms 70

1 For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw nigh, O God, to my help.

संगीत निर्देशक के लिये. दावीद की रचना. अभ्यर्थना. हे परमेश्वर, कृपा कर मुझे उद्धार प्रदान कीजिए; याहवेह, तुरंत मेरी सहायता कीजिए.

2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

वे, जो मेरे प्राणों के प्यासे हैं, लज्जित और निराश किए जाएं; वे जिनका आनंद मेरी पीड़ा में है, पीठ दिखाकर भागें तथा अपमानित किए जाएं.

3 Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

वे सभी, जो मेरी स्थिति को देख, “आहा! आहा!” करते हैं! लज्जा में अपना मुख छिपा लें.

4 Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

किंतु वे सभी, जो आपकी खोज करते हैं हर्षोल्लास में मगन हों; वे सभी, जिन्हें आपके उद्धार की आकांक्षा है, यही कहें, “अति महान हैं परमेश्वर!”

5 But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.

मैं दरिद्र और दुःखी पुरुष हूं; परमेश्वर, मेरी सहायता के लिए विलंब न कीजिए. आप ही मेरे सहायक और छुड़ानेवाले हैं; याहवेह, विलंब न कीजिए.
