< Psalms 59 >

1 For the end. Destroy not: by David for a memorial, when Saul sent, and watched his house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O God; and ransom me from those that rise up against me.

2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
Boethae aka saii rhoek kut lamkah kai n'huul lamtah hlang thii aka haal rhoek kut lamkah kai n'khang lah.
3 For, behold, they have hunted after my soul; violent men have set upon me: neither [is it] my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord.
Ka hinglu te a rhongngol thil uh coeng ke. Ka boekoek khaw om pawt tih BOEIPA ka tholhnah khaw om pawt dae hlangtlung rhoek loh kai m'mae uh.
4 Without iniquity I ran and directed [my course aright]: awake to help me, and behold.
Thaesainah om pawt dae ha yong uh tih tawn uh. Kai aka doe ham long tah haenghang lamtah hmuh lah.
5 And thou, Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, draw nigh to visit all the heathen; pity not any that work iniquity. (Pause)
Te dongah namtom boeih te cawh hamla, caempuei Pathen, BOEIPA, Israel Pathen namah mah thoo lamtah boethae neh aka hnukpoh boeih te rhen boeh. (Selah)
6 They shall return at evening, and hunger like a dog, and go round about the city.
Hlaemhmah ah amih loh ha mael uh tih ui bangla a phit uh doela khopuei a hil uh.
7 Behold, they shall utter a voice with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips; for who, [say they], has heard?
A hmui kah cunghang ke, “Unim aka ya,” tila a ka lamkah ol te a thaa uh van ke?
8 But thou, Lord, wilt laugh them to scorn; thou wilt utterly set at nought all the heathen.
Tedae BOEIPA nang loh amih te na nueih thil tih namtom boeih ke na tamdaeng.
9 will keep my strength, [looking] to thee; for thou, O God, art my helper.
Anih kah sarhi vanbangla, Pathen khaw kai ham imsang la a om dongah namah ni kan rhingda.
10 [As for] my God, his mercy shall go before me: my God will shew me [vengeance] on mine enemies.
Kai ham sitlohnah kah sitlohnah Pathen loh kai n'doe ni. Ka lungawn rhoek soah Pathen loh kai n'sawt sak ni.
11 Slay them not, lest they forget thy law; scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord, my defender.
Amih te ngawn boel mai, ka pilnam te hnilh ve. Ka Boeipa, kaimih kah photling aw, na thadueng neh amih te poengdoe sak lamtah suntlak sak.
12 [For] the sin of their mouth, [and] the word of their lips, let them be even taken in their pride.
Thaephoeinah neh laithae a doek uh dongah amamih ka kah tholhnah, amamih hmui kah olka neh amamih kah hoemdamnah dongah man uh saeh.
13 And for [their] cursing and falsehood shall utter destruction be denounced: [they shall fall] by the wrath of utter destruction, and shall not be; so shall they know that the God of Jacob is Lord of the ends of the earth. (Pause)
Amih te kosi dongah muei muei tih a milh daengah ni Jakob neh diklai a bawt duela aka taemrhai he Pathen ni tila a ming uh eh. (Selah)
14 They shall return at evening, and be hungry as a dog, and go round about the city.
Hlaemhmah ah ha mael uh bal saeh lamtah ui bangla a phit uh doela khopuei hil uh bal saeh.
15 They shall be scattered hither and thither for meat; and if they be not satisfied, they shall even murmur.
Amih loh buhtuen la poeng poeng uh tih a hah uh pawt vaengah rhaehba uh sut.
16 But I will sing to thy strength, and in the morning will I exult [in] thy mercy; for thou hast been my supporter, and my refuge in the day of mine affliction.
Tedae kai tah, na sarhi te ka hlai vetih, namah te kai ham imsang neh kai taengkah puencak tue vaengah thuhaelnah la na om dongah, na sitlohnah khaw mincang ah ka tamhoe puei ni.
17 [Thou art] my helper; to thee, my God, will I sing; thou art my supporter, O my God, [and] my mercy.
Ka sitlohnah Pathen neh ka imsang Pathen ham tah nang taengah ka sarhi ka tingtoeng.
