Psalms 54

1 For the end, among Hymns of instruction by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Lo, is not David hid with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy might.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. తీగె వాయిద్యాలమీద పాడేది. జీఫీయులు వచ్చి దావీదు మా దగ్గర దాక్కున్నాడు, అని సౌలుతో చెప్పినప్పుడు దావీదు రాసిన దైవధ్యానం. దేవా, నీ నామాన్నిబట్టి నన్ను రక్షించు. నీ వీరత్వాన్ని బట్టి నాకు న్యాయం తీర్చు.

2 O God, hear my prayer; hearken to the words of my mouth.

౨దేవా, నా ప్రార్థన ఆలకించు. నా నోటి మాటలు నీకు వినబడనియ్యి.

3 For strangers have risen up against me, and mighty men have sought my life: they have not set God before them. (Pause)

౩గర్వికులు నాకు వ్యతిరేకంగా లేచారు. జాలిలేని వారు నా ప్రాణం తీయాలని చూస్తున్నారు. వారికి దేవుడంటే లెక్కలేదు.

4 For lo! God assists me; and the Lord is the helper of my soul.

౪ఇదిగో, దేవుడే నా సహాయం. ప్రభువే నా ప్రాణాన్ని నిలబెట్టేవాడు.

5 He shall return evil to mine enemies; utterly destroy them in thy truth.

౫నా శత్రువులు చేసే కీడును ఆయన వారి మీదకే రప్పిస్తాడు. నీ నమ్మకత్వాన్ని బట్టి వారిని నాశనం చెయ్యి.

6 I will willingly sacrifice to thee: I will give thanks to thy name, O Lord; for [it is] good.

౬సేచ్చార్పణ బలులు నేను నీకు అర్పిస్తాను. యెహోవా, నీ నామం ఉత్తమం. నేను దానికి కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లిస్తున్నాను.

7 For thou hast delivered me out of all affliction, and mine eye has seen [my desire] upon mine enemies.

౭ప్రతి ఆపద నుండి ఆయన నన్ను విడిపించాడు. నా శత్రువుల ఓటమిని నా కన్ను సంతోషంగా చూస్తున్నది.
