< Psalms 44 >

1 For the end, a Psalm for instruction, for the sons of Core. O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, the work which thou wroughtest in their days, in the days of old.
Nzembo ya bana ya Kore. Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzambe, toyokaki na matoyi na biso; bakoko na biso babetelaki biso lisolo ya makambo oyo osalaki na tango na bango, na tango ya kala.
2 Thine hand utterly destroyed the heathen, and thou didst plant them: thou didst afflict the nations, and cast them out.
Na nguya na Yo, obenganaki bikolo mpe otiaki bakoko na biso; obetaki bikolo ya bapaya mpe ofulukisaki bakoko na biso.
3 For they inherited not the land by their [own] sword, and their [own] arm did not deliver them; but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou wert well pleased in them.
Pamba te ezalaki na mopanga na bango te nde babotolaki mokili, ezalaki mpe maboko na bango te nde ebikisaki bango; kasi ezalaki nde loboko na Yo ya mobali, nguya na Yo mpe pole ya elongi na Yo, pamba te ozalaki kolinga bango.
4 Thou art indeed my King and my God, who commandest deliverances for Jacob.
Oh Nzambe, Yo oyo ozali Mokonzi na ngai, pesa mitindo mpo na elonga ya Jakobi.
5 In thee will we push down our enemies, and in thy name will we bring to nought them that rise up against us.
Na lisungi na Yo, tolongaka banguna na biso, mpe na Kombo na Yo, tonyataka bayini na biso.
6 For I will not trust in my bow, and my sword shall not save me.
Pamba te natiaka elikya te na tolotolo na ngai, mpe mopanga na ngai ebikisaka ngai te.
7 For thou hast saved us from them that afflicted us, and hast put to shame them that hated us.
Kasi ezali Yo nde obikisaka biso wuta na maboko ya bayini na biso, mpe oyokisaka bayini na biso soni.
8 In God will we make our boast all the day, and to thy name will we give thanks for ever. (Pause)
Tomikumisaka mikolo nyonso kati na Nzambe mpe tokokumisa Kombo na Yo mpo na libela.
9 But now thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and thou wilt not go forth with our hosts.
Kasi obwaki biso, oyokisi biso soni mpe ozali lisusu kotambola te elongo na mampinga na biso.
10 Thou hast turned us back before our enemies; and they that hated us spoiled for themselves.
Otiki biso kokima liboso ya banguna na biso; mpe bayini na biso bazwi biloko na biso na makasi.
11 Thou madest us as sheep for meat; and thou scatteredst us among the nations.
Osundoli biso na maboko na bango lokola bameme ya koboma mpe opanzi biso kati na bikolo.
12 Thou hast sold thy people without price, and there was no profit by their exchange.
Oteki bato na Yo na pamba mpe ozwi ata litomba te kowuta na boteki yango.
13 Thou hast made us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision them that are round about us.
Okomisi biso eloko ya lisuma na miso ya bato oyo bazali pembeni na biso, eloko ya litio mpe ya liseki na miso ya bato oyo bazali zingazinga na biso.
14 Thou hast made us a proverb among the Gentiles, a shaking of the head among the nations.
Okomisi biso lisapo kati na bikolo, mpe bato bakomi koningisa mito na bango mpo na biso.
15 All the day my shame is before me, and the confusion of my face has covered me,
Kosambwa ekomi tango nyonso liboso na ngai mpe soni ezipi elongi na ngai,
16 because of the voice of the slanderer and reviler; because of the enemy and avenger.
mpo na litio ya bato oyo bazali kofinga mpe kopamela ngai, mpe ya monguna oyo akangela ngai kanda.
17 All these things are come upon us: but we have not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt unrighteously in thy covenant.
Makambo wana nyonso ekweyeli biso atako tobosanaki Yo te mpe tobebisaki Boyokani na Yo te,
18 And our heart has not gone back; but thou hast turned aside our paths from thy way.
atako mitema na biso epengwaki te mpe totamboli libanda ya nzela na Yo te.
19 For thou hast laid us low in a place of affliction, and the shadow of death has covered us.
Pamba te onyokolaki biso kati na etando ya bambwa ya zamba mpe ozipaki biso na molili makasi.
20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, and if we have spread out our hands to a strange god; shall not God search these things out?
Soki tobosanaki Kombo ya Nzambe na biso to totombolaki maboko na biso epai ya nzambe ya mopaya,
21 for he knows the secrets of the heart.
boni, Nzambe na biso alingaki koyeba yango te, lokola asosolaka mozindo ya mitema?
22 For, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for slaughter.
Pamba te, likolo na Yo, babomaka biso mikolo nyonso mpe bazwaka biso lokola bameme ya koboma.
23 Awake, wherefore sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, and do not cast [us] off for ever.
Nkolo, lamuka! Mpo na nini ozali kolala? Lamuka, kobwaka biso te mpo na libela.
24 Wherefore turnest thou thy face away, [and] forgettest our poverty and our affliction?
Yawe, mpo na nini ozali kobomba elongi na Yo? Mpo na nini ozali kobosana pasi mpe minyoko na biso?
25 For our soul has been brought down to the dust; our belly has cleaved to the earth.
Pamba te tokweyi na putulu, mpe nzoto na biso ekangami na mabele.
26 Arise, O Lord, help us, and redeem us for thy name's sake.
Telema, yaka kosunga biso, kangola biso mpo na bolingo na Yo!
