Psalms 41

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. Blessed [is the man] who thinks, on the poor and needy: the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.

ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಪರಾಮರಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಕೇಡಿನ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು.

2 May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿಡುವರು; ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧನ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವರು; ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಇಚ್ಛೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡರು.

3 May the Lord help him upon the bed of his pain; thou hast made all his bed in his sickness.

ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಪರಾಮರಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯ ಮಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವರು; ಅವರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ ಮರುಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವರು.

4 I said, O Lord, have mercy upon me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನನಗೆ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿ ಬೇಡುವೆನು.

5 Mine enemies have spoken evil against me, [saying], When shall he die, and his name perish?

“ಅವನು ಸತ್ತು ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು ಯಾವಾಗ?” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

6 And if he came to see [me], his heart spoke vainly; he gathered iniquity to himself; he went forth and spoke in like manner.

ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಂದರೆ, ಕಪಟವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಹೃದಯ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

7 All my enemies whispered against me; against me they devised my hurt.

ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಿಸುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

8 They denounced a wicked word against me, [saying], Now that he lies, shall he not rise up again?

“ಕೆಟ್ಟ ರೋಗವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ, ಈಗ ಅವನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಏಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

9 For even the man of my peace, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, lifted up [his] heel against me.

ನನ್ನ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದವನೂ ನಾನು ನಂಬಿದ್ದವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನು ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

10 But thou, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.

ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿ ನಾನು ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.

11 By this I know that thou hast delighted in me, because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.

ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯ ಹೊಂದದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.

12 But thou didst help me because of [mine] innocence, and hast established me before thee for ever.

ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆಯ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವಿರಿ; ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸುವಿರಿ.

13 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, so be it.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಯಾಗಲಿ.
