Psalms 39

1 For the end, a Song of David, to Idithun. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I set a guard on my mouth, while the sinner stood in my presence.

၁ငါ သည်စကား ဖြင့် မျှ မပြစ်မှား မည်အကြောင်း၊ ကိုယ် ကျင့် ကို သတိ ပြုမည်။ မတရား သောသူသည် ငါ့ ရှေ့ မှာ ရှိ စဉ်၊ ငါ သည်ကိုယ်နှုတ် ကို ချည်နှောင် မည်ဟု ငါပြော ထား၏။

2 I was dumb, and humbled myself, and kept silence from good [words]; and my grief was renewed.

၂စကား မပြောဘဲအ လျက်နေ၏။ ကောင်း သော အရာကို ပင် မ ပြော။ ထို သို့နေစဉ်၊ ငါ သည် စိတ် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ ၏။

3 My heart grew hot within me, and a fire would kindle in my (meditation) I spoke with my tongue,

၃ကိုယ် အထဲ မှာ နှလုံး ပူဆွေး ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငါ ညည်းတွား စဉ် ၊ မီး လောင် လေ၏။ ထိုအခါငါ သည် နှုတ် မြွက် ၏။

4 O Lord, make me to know mine end, and the number of my days, what it is; that I may know what I lack.

၄အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ကိုယ်ပျက် တတ်သော သဘောကိုသိ ရပါမည်အကြောင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏လမ်း ဆုံးကို၎င်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ အသက် အပိုင်း အခြားကို၎င်း သိ စေတော်မူပါ။

5 Behold, thou hast made my days old; and my existence [is] as nothing before thee: nay, every man living [is] altogether vanity. (Pause)

၅အကျွန်ုပ် အသက် တာကို တမိုက် မျှသာ ခန့်ထား တော်မူပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ် အရွယ် သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ ဘာမျှ မဟုတ် သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူမည်သည် ကား၊ လူ ၏အထွဋ် သို့ ရောက် သော်လည်း၊ အနတ္တ သက် သက်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။

6 Surely man walks in a shadow; nay, he is disquieted in vain: he lays up treasures, and knows not for whom he shall gather them.

၆အကယ် စင်စစ်လူ သည် အရိပ် ၌ သာ ကျင်လည် ပါ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူတို့သည် အကျိုး မဲ့ပင်ပန်း ကြပါ ၏။ ဥစ္စာ ကိုဆည်းဖူးသော်လည်း အဘယ် သူရ အံ့သည် ကို မ သိ ရပါ။

7 And now what [is] my expectation? [is it] not the Lord? and my ground [of hope] is with thee. (Pause)

၇ယခု မူကား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်သို့ မြော်လင့် ရပါမည်နည်း။ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၌ သာ မြော်လင့် စရာအကြောင်းရှိပါ၏။

8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: thou hast made me a reproach to the foolish.

၈ပြစ်မှားမိသမျှ သောအပြစ် တို့မှ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို လွှတ် တော်မူပါ။ မိုက် သောသူတို့ ၏ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကို ခံ စေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။

9 I was dumb, and opened not my mouth; for thou art he that made me.

၉ကိုယ်တော် စီရင် တော်မူရာ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြော စရာမရ။ နှုတ် ကို မ ဖွင့် ဘဲနေရပါ၏။

10 Remove thy scourges from me: I have fainted by reason of the strength of thine hand.

၁၀အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မမူပါနှင့်ဦး။ လက် တော်အောက်၌ ဆုံးမ ခြင်းကိုခံ ရ၍ အား ကုန်ပါပြီ။

11 Thou chastenest man with rebukes for iniquity, and thou makest his life to consume away like a spider's web; nay, every man is disquieted in vain. (Pause)

၁၁ကိုယ်တော်သည် လူ တို့အပြစ် ကြောင့် ဆုံးမ ၍ ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူလျှင် ၊ ပိုးရွ ဖျက်တတ်သကဲ့သို့ ၊ လူ တို့၏ တင့်တယ် ခြင်းအသရေကို ပြယ် ပျောက်စေတော်မူ၏။ အကယ် စင်စစ်လူ ခပ်သိမ်း တို့သည် အနတ္တ သက်သက်ဖြစ်ကြပါ၏။

12 O Lord, hearken to my prayer and my supplication: attend to my tears: be not silent, for I am a sojourner in the land, and a stranger, as all my fathers [were].

၁၂အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ဆုတောင်းခြင်း ပဌနာ ကို ကြား တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် အော်ဟစ် သော အသံကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် မျက်ရည် ကို ကြည့် ၍ နေတော်မ မူပါနှင့်။ ဘိုးဘေး အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဖြစ်ဘူးသကဲ့သို့ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ရှေ့တော်၌ ဧည့်သည် အာဂန္တုဖြစ်၏။

13 Spare me, that I may be refreshed, before I depart, and be no more.

၁၃အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ရွေ့သွား ၍ မ ပျောက် မှီတွင် သက်သာ ရမည်အကြောင်း ၊ မျက်နှာ လွှဲတော်မူပါ။
