< Psalms 35 >

1 [A Psalm] of David. Judge thou, O Lord, them that injure me, fight against them that fight against me.
Nataon’ i Davida.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and arise for my help.
Raiso ny ampinga kely sy ny ampinga lehibe ka mitsangàna hamonjy ahy.
3 Bring forth a sword, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I am thy salvation.
Ary raiso ny lefona, ka sakano izay manenjika ahy; lazao amin’ ny fanahiko hoe: Famonjena anao Aho.
4 Let them that seek my soul be ashamed and confounded: let them that devise evils against me be turned back and put to shame.
Aoka ho menatra sy ho afa-baraka izay mitady ny aiko; aoka hiamboho sy hangaihay izay misaina hanisy ratsy ahy.
5 Let them be as dust before the wind, and an angel of the Lord afflicting them.
Aoka ho tahaka ny akofa eo alohan’ ny rivotra izy. Ary aoka ny Anjelin’ i Jehovah handroaka azy.
6 Let their way be dark and slippery, and an angel of the Lord persecuting them.
Aoka ho maizina sy malama ny lalany, ary aoka ny Anjelin’ i Jehovah hanenjika azy.
7 For without cause they have hid for me their destructive snare: without a cause they have reproached my soul.
Fa tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana no nanaovany fandri-totofana hahazoany ahy; tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana no nandavahany hamandrihany ny aiko.
8 Let a snare which they know not come upon them; and the gin which they hid take them; and let them fall into the very same snare.
Aoka ny fandringanana ho tonga tampoka aminy; ary aoka hahazo azy ny fandrika harato nafeniny, ka ho latsaka ao amin’ izany fandringanana izany indrindra izy.
9 But my soul shall exult in the Lord: it shall delight in his salvation.
Fa ny fanahiko kosa hifaly amin’ i Jehovah sy ho ravoravo amin’ ny famonjeny.
10 All my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like to thee? delivering the poor out of the hand of them that are stronger than he, yea, the poor and needy one from them that spoil him.
Ny taolako rehetra hanao hoe: Jehovah ô, iza no tahaka Anao, Izay manafaka ny ory amin’ izay tsy tohany, eny, ny ory sy ny malahelo amin’ izay mamabo azy?
11 Unjust witnesses arose, and asked me of things I new not.
Mitsangana ny vavolombelona mampidi-doza; ka izay tsy fantatro no anadinany ahy.
12 They rewarded me evil for good, and bereavement to my soul.
Mamaly ratsy ahy ho solon’ ny soa izy, ka mamoy malala ny fanahiko.
13 But I, when they troubled me, put on sackcloth, and humbled my soul with fasting: and my prayer shall return to my [own] bosom.
Ary ny amiko, raha narary izy ireo, dia lamba fisaonana no nitafiako; nampahory ny tenako tamin’ ny ny fifadian-kanina aho; ary ny fivavako nody tao an-tratrako.
14 I behaved agreeably towards them as [if it had been] our neighbour [or] brother: I humbled myself as one mourning and sad of countenance.
Toy ny nisy nanjo ny sakaizako na ny rahalahiko no nandehanako; nitanondrika tamin’ alahelo toy ny fisaona reny aho.
15 Yet they rejoiced against me, and plagues were plentifully brought against me, and I knew [it] not: they were scattered, but repented not.
Nefa nony ho lavo kosa aho, dia faly izy ireo ka niangona; olona faraidina no nitangorona hamely ahy, nefa tsy fantatro; namiravira izy ka tsy mba nitsahatra;
16 They tempted me, they sneered at me most contemptuously, they gnashed their teeth upon me.
Naman’ ny olon-dratsy manendrikendrika ho enti-mila sitraka izy ka nihidy vazana tamiko.
17 O Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? Deliver my soul from their mischief, mine only-begotten one from the lions.
Ry Tompo ô, mandra-pahoviana no hijerenao? Avereno ny fanahiko ho afaka amin’ ny fandringanany, ny hany malalako ho afaka amin’ ny liona tanora.
18 I will give thanks to thee even in a great congregation: in an abundant people I will praise thee.
Hisaotra Anao eo amin’ ny fiangonana lehibe aho; hidera Anao eo afovoan’ ny olona maro aho.
19 Let not them that are mine enemies without a cause rejoice against me; who hate me for nothing, and wink with their eyes.
Aoka tsy hifalian’ izay mandrafy ahy foana aho; ary aoka tsy hami-maso izay mankahala ahy tsy ahoan-tsy ahoana.
20 For to me they spoke peaceably, but imagined deceits in [their] anger.
Fa tsy fihavanana no lazainy; fa mamorom-pitaka izy hamelezany izay mibonaika ambonin’ ny tany.
21 And they opened wide their mouth upon me; they said Aha, aha, our eyes have seen [it].
Dia mitanatana vava amiko izy ka manao hoe: Hià! sakoa izay! efa hita’ ny masonay.
22 Thou hast seen [it], O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, withdraw not [thyself] from me.
Efa hitanao, Jehovah ô, ka aza manentsin-tadiny; ry Tompo ô, aza manalavitra ahy.
23 Awake, O Lord, and attend to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my Lord.
Mahatsiarova, ka mifohaza ho amin’ ny fitsaràna ahy, O Andriamanitro sy Tompoko! mifohaza ho amin’ ny adiko.
24 Judge me, O Lord, according to thy righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them not rejoice against me.
Tsarao aho, Jehovah Andriamanitro ô, araka ny fahamarinanao; ary aoka tsy hifalian’ ireo aho.
25 Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, aha, [it is pleasing] to our soul: neither let them say, We have devoured him.
Aoka tsy hanao anakampo hoe izy: Hià! faly izahay! aoka tsy hanao hoe izy: efa natelinay izy.
26 Let them be confounded and ashamed together that rejoice at my afflictions: let them be clothed with shame and confusion that speak great swelling words against me.
Aoka ho menatra sy hangaihay avokoa izay mifaly amin’ ny manjo ahy; aoka hitafy henatra sy fahafaham-baraka izay mirehareha amiko.
27 Let them that rejoice in my righteousness exult and be glad: and let them say continually, The Lord be magnified, who desire the peace of his servant.
Aoka hihoby sy hifaly izay mankasitraka ny fahamarinako; ary aoka izy hanao mandrakariva hoe: hankalazaina anie Jehovah, Izay mankasitraka ny fiadanan’ ny mpanompony.
28 And my tongue shall meditate on thy righteousness, [and] on thy praise all the day.
Ary ny lelako hilaza ny fahamarinanao; ny fiderana Anao no hataoko mandrakariva.
