Psalms 34
1 [A Psalm] of David, when he changed his countenance before Abimelech; and he let him go, and he departed. I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall be continually in my mouth.
ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಚ್ಚನಂತೆ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು; ಅವರ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದು.
2 My soul shall boast herself in the Lord: let the meek hear, and rejoice.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದು; ಇದನ್ನು ದೀನರು ಕೇಳಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವರು.
3 Magnify ye the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ನಾವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸೋಣ.
4 I sought the Lord diligently, and he hearkened to me, and delivered me from all my sojournings.
ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದೆನು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಸಕಲ ಭೀತಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದರು.
5 Draw near to him, and be enlightened: and your faces shall not [by any means] be ashamed.
ದೇವರನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವರು ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಹೊಂದಿದರು; ಅಂಥವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord hearkened to him, and delivered him out of all his afflictions.
ಬಡವನಾದ ನಾನು ಕರೆಯಲು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು.
7 The angel of the Lord will encamp round about them that fear him, and will deliver them.
ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
8 Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man who hopes in him.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರೆಂದು ರುಚಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನು.
9 Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
ದೇವರ ಭಕ್ತರೇ, ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೊರತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
10 The rich have become poor and hungry: but they that seek the Lord diligently shall not want any good thing. (Pause)
ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಹಸಿದು ಬಳಲಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದರ ಕೊರತೆಯೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
11 Come, ye children, hear me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಭಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುವೆನು.
12 What man is there that desires life, loving to see good days?
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ಮತ್ತು ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕೆ?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
ನೀನು ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು, ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೋ.
14 Turn away from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು; ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು.
15 The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears [are open] to their prayer:
ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಇಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ ದೇವರು ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
16 but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to destroy their memorial from the earth. The righteous cried, and the Lord hearkened to them,
ಆದರೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ವಿಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಂಥವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವರು.
17 and delivered them out of all their afflictions.
ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕೇಳಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
18 The Lord is near to them that are of a contrite heart; and will save the lowly in spirit.
ಮುರಿದ ಹೃದಯದವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ಆತ್ಮವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but out of them all Lord will deliver them.
ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
20 He keeps all their bones: not one of them shall be broken.
ಅವರು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 The death of sinners is evil: and they that hate righteousness will go wrong.
ಕೇಡು ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನೇ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದು; ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವರು.
22 The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants: and none of those that hope in him shall go wrong.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇವರನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
