Psalms 32

1 [A Psalm] of instruction by David. Blessed [are they] whose transgressions are forgiven, and who sins are covered.

௧மஸ்கீல் என்னும் தாவீதின் பாடல். எவனுடைய மீறுதல் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டதோ, எவனுடைய பாவம் மூடப்பட்டதோ, அவன் பாக்கியவான்.

2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin, and whose mouth there is no guile.

௨எவனுடைய அக்கிரமத்தைக் யெகோவா எண்ணாமலிருக்கிறாரோ, எவனுடைய ஆவியில் கபடமில்லாதிருக்கிறதோ, அவன் பாக்கியவான்.

3 Because I kept silence, my bones waxed old, from my crying all the day.

௩நான் அடக்கிவைத்தவரையில், எப்பொழுதும் என் கதறுதலினாலே என் எலும்புகள் உலர்ந்துபோயிற்று.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: I became thoroughly miserable while a thorn was fastened in [me]. (Pause)

௪இரவும் பகலும் என்மேல் உம்முடைய கை பாரமாக இருந்ததினால், என் பெலன் கோடைக்கால வறட்சிபோல வறண்டுபோயிற்று. (சேலா)

5 I acknowledged my sin, and hid not mine iniquity: I said, I will confess mine iniquity to the Lord against myself; and thou forgavest the ungodliness of my heart. (Pause)

௫நான் என் அக்கிரமத்தை மறைக்காமல், என் பாவத்தை உமக்கு அறிவித்தேன்; என் மீறுதல்களைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு அறிக்கையிடுவேன் என்றேன்; தேவனே நீர் என் பாவத்தின் தோஷத்தை மன்னித்தீர். (சேலா)

6 Therefore shall every holy one pray to thee in a fit time: only in the deluge of many waters they shall not come nigh to him.

௬இதற்காக உம்மைக் காணும் காலத்தில் பக்தியுள்ளவனெவனும் உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் செய்வான்; அப்பொழுது மிகுந்த வெள்ளம் வந்தாலும் அது அவனை அணுகாது.

7 Thou art my refuge from the affliction that encompasses me; my joy, to deliver me from them that have compassed me. (Pause)

௭நீர் எனக்கு மறைவிடமாயிருக்கிறீர்; என்னை நீர் இக்கட்டுக்கு விலக்கிக்காத்து, இரட்சிப்பின் பாடல்கள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொள்ளும்படி செய்வீர். (சேலா)

8 I will instruct thee and guide thee in this way wherein thou shalt go: I will fix mine eyes upon thee.

௮நான் உனக்குப் போதித்து, நீ நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை உனக்குக் காட்டுவேன்; உன்மேல் என் கண்ணை வைத்து, உனக்கு ஆலோசனை சொல்லுவேன்.

9 Be ye not as horse and mule, which have no understanding; [but thou must] constrain their jaws with bit and curb, lest they should come nigh to thee.

௯வாரினாலும் கடிவாளத்தினாலும் வாய் கட்டப்பட்டாலொழிய, உன் அருகில் சேராத புத்தியில்லாத குதிரையைப்போலவும் கோவேறு கழுதையைப்போலவும் இருக்கவேண்டாம்.

10 Many are the scourges of the sinner: but him that hopes in the Lord mercy shall compass about.

௧0துன்மார்க்கனுக்கு அநேக வேதனைகளுண்டு; யெகோவாவை நம்பியிருக்கிறவனையோ கிருபை சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்.

11 Be glad in the Lord, and exult, ye righteous: and glory, all ye that are upright in heart.

௧௧நீதிமான்களே, யெகோவாவுக்குள் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருங்கள்; செம்மையான இருதயமுள்ளவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் ஆனந்தமுழக்கமிடுங்கள்.
