Psalms 24

1 A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. A Psalm for David on the first day of the week. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the world, and all that dwell in it.

Ti Dafidi. Saamu. Ti Olúwa ni ilẹ̀, àti ẹ̀kún rẹ̀, ayé àti àwọn tí ó tẹ̀dó sínú rẹ̀;

2 He has founded it upon the seas, and prepared it upon the rivers.

nítorí ó fi ìpìlẹ̀ rẹ̀ lélẹ̀ lórí òkun ó sì gbé e kalẹ̀ lórí àwọn ìṣàn omi.

3 Who shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, and who shall stand in his holy place?

Ta ni yóò gun orí òkè Olúwa lọ? Ta ni yóò dúró ní ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀?

4 He that is innocent in his hands and pure in his heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

Ẹni tí ó ní ọwọ́ mímọ́ àti àyà funfun, ẹni tí kò gbé ọkàn rẹ̀ sókè sí asán tí kò sì búra èké.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.

Òun ni yóò rí ìbùkún gbà láti ọ̀dọ̀ Olúwa, àti òdodo lọ́wọ́ Ọlọ́run ìgbàlà rẹ̀.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek the face of the God of Jacob. (Pause)

Èyí ni ìran àwọn tí ń ṣe àfẹ́rí rẹ̀, tí ń ṣe àfẹ́rí rẹ̀, Ọlọ́run Jakọbu. (Sela)

7 Lift up your gates, ye princes, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

Ẹ gbé orí yín sókè, háà! Ẹ̀yin ọ̀nà; kí á sì gbe yín sókè, ẹyin ìlẹ̀kùn ayérayé! Kí ọba ògo le è wọlé.

8 Who is this king of Glory? the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Ta ni ọba ògo náà? Olúwa tí ó lágbára tí ó sì le, Olúwa gan an, tí ó lágbára ní ogun.

9 Lift up your gates, ye princes; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in.

Gbé orí yín sókè, ẹyin ọ̀nà; kí a sì gbé e yín sókè, ẹ̀yin ìlẹ̀kùn ayérayé, kí Ọba ògo le è wọlé wá.

10 Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is this king of glory.
