Psalms 15

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? and who shall dwell in thy holy mountain?

Un psaume de David. Yahvé, qui habitera dans ton sanctuaire? Qui vivra sur ta sainte colline?

2 He that walks blameless, and works righteousness, who speaks truth in his heart.

Celui qui marche sans reproche et fait ce qui est juste, et dit la vérité dans son cœur;

3 Who has not spoken craftily with is tongue, neither has done evil to his neighbour, nor taken up a reproach against them that dwelt nearest to him.

celui qui ne calomnie pas avec sa langue, ni ne fait de mal à son ami, ni ne lance d'injures contre son prochain;

4 In his sight an evil-worker is set at nought, but he honours them that fear the Lord. He swears to his neighbour, and disappoints [him] not.

aux yeux duquel un homme vil est méprisé, mais qui honore ceux qui craignent Yahvé; celui qui tient un serment même quand ça fait mal, et qui ne change pas;

5 He has not lent his money on usury, and has not received bribes against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

celui qui ne prête pas son argent à l'usure, ni prendre un pot-de-vin contre un innocent. Celui qui fait ces choses ne sera jamais ébranlé.
