Psalms 149
1 Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song: his praise is in the assembly of the saints.
Haalleluuyaa. Faarfannaa haaraa Waaqayyoof faarfadhaa; waldaa qulqullootaa keessatti illee isa jajadhaa.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; and let the children of Sion exult in their king.
Israaʼel Uumaa isaatti haa gammadu; sabni Xiyoon Mootii isaatti haa gammadu.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sings praises to him with timbrel and psaltery.
Maqaa isaas shuubbisuudhaan haa jajatu; dibbee fi baganaadhaan isaaf haa faarfatu.
4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; and will exalt the meek with salvation.
Waaqayyo saba isaatti ni gammadaatii; warra gad of qabanis fayyina gonfachiisa.
5 The saints shall rejoice in glory; and shall exult on their beds.
Qulqulloonni ulfina kanatti haa gammadan; siree isaanii irrattis gammachuudhaan haa faarfatan.
6 The high praises of God shall be in their throat, and two-edged swords in their hands;
Galanni Waaqaa afaan isaanii keessa haa jiraatu; goraadeen afaan lamaas harka isaanii keessa haa jiraattu;
7 to execute vengeance on the nations, [and] punishments among the peoples;
kunis sabootatti haaloo baʼuu fi namoota adabuudhaaf;
8 to bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron; to execute on them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.
mootota isaanii foncaan, hangafoota isaaniis funyoo sibiilaatiin hidhuudhaaf,
murtii barreeffame sana isaan irratti dhugaa baʼuudhaaf. Kunis amanamtoota isaa hundaaf ulfina. Haalleluuyaa.
