Psalms 145
1 David's [Psalm of] praise. I will exalt thee, my God, my king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
À chaque jour je vous bénirai, et je louerai votre nom dans les siècles, et dans les siècles des siècles.
3 The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; and there is no end to his greatness.
Grand est le Seigneur, et infiniment louable, et à sa grandeur il n’y a pas de fin.
4 Generation after generation shall praise thy works, and tell of thy power.
Toutes les générations loueront vos œuvres, et elles publieront votre puissance.
5 And they shall speak of the glorious majesty of thy holiness, and recount thy wonders.
Elles publieront la magnificence de la gloire de votre sainteté, et elles raconteront vos merveilles.
6 And they shall speak of the power of thy terrible [acts]; and recount thy greatness.
Et elles diront la vertu de vos terribles prodiges, et elles raconteront votre grandeur.
7 They shall utter the memory of the abundance of thy goodness, and shall exult in thy righteousness.
Elles proclameront le souvenir de l’abondance de votre douceur, et à cause de votre justice elles tressailliront de joie.
8 The Lord is compassionate, and merciful; long suffering, and abundant in mercy.
Le Seigneur est compatissant et miséricordieux; patient, et beaucoup miséricordieux.
9 The Lord is good to those that wait [on him]; and his compassions are over all his works.
Le Seigneur est doux pour tous, et ses commisérations s’étendent sur toutes ses œuvres.
10 Let all thy works, O Lord, give thanks to thee; and let thy saints bless thee.
Qu’elles vous glorifient, Seigneur, toutes vos œuvres; et que vos saints vous bénissent.
11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy dominion;
Ils diront la gloire de votre règne, et ils publieront votre puissance,
12 to make known to the sons of men thy power, and the glorious majesty of thy kingdom.
Afin qu’ils fassent connaître aux fils des hommes votre puissance, et la gloire de la magnificence de votre règne.
13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion [endures] through all generations. The Lord is faithful in his words, and holy in all his works.
Votre règne est le règne de tous les siècles, et votre domination s’étend à toutes les générations. Le Seigneur est fidèle dans toutes ses paroles, et saint dans toutes ses œuvres.
14 The Lord supports all that are falling, and sets up all that are broken down.
Le Seigneur soutient tous ceux qui sont près de tomber, et il relève tous ceux qui ont été renversés.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest [them] their food in due season.
Les yeux de tous en vous espèrent. Seigneur, et vous donnerez à tous leur nourriture en temps opportun.
16 Thou openest thine hands, and fillest every living thing with pleasure.
Vous ouvrez, vous, votre main, et vous comblez tout animal de bénédiction.
17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
Le Seigneur est juste dans toutes ses voies, et saint dans toutes ses œuvres.
18 The Lord is near to all that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
Le Seigneur est près de tous ceux qui l’invoquent; de tous ceux qui l’invoquent dans la vérité.
19 He will perform the desire of them that fear him: and he will hear their supplication, and save them.
Il fera la volonté de ceux qui craignent, et il exaucera leur supplication, et il les sauvera.
20 The Lord preserves all that love him: but all sinners he will utterly destroy.
Le Seigneur garde tous ceux qui l’aiment; mais tous les pécheurs, il les perdra entièrement.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
Ma bouche publiera les louanges du Seigneur; et que toute chair bénisse son nom saint dans les siècles, et dans les siècles des siècles.
