Psalms 139
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, thou hast proved me, and known me.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
2 Thou knowest my down-sitting and mine up-rising: thou understandest my thoughts long before.
ನಾನು ಕುಳಿತಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಏಳುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
3 Thou hast traced my path and my bed, and hast foreseen all my ways.
ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವುದನ್ನೂ, ನಾನು ಮಲಗುವುದನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ವಿವೇಚಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸುಪರಿಚಿತವಾಗಿವೆ.
4 For there is no unrighteous word in my tongue: behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things,
ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಆರಂಭಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
5 the last and the first: thou hast fashioned me, and laid thine hand upon me.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ, ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
6 The knowledge of thee is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I cannot [attain] to it.
ಇಂಥ ಅರಿವು ನನಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ನನಗೆ ನಿಲುಕಲಾರದಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ.
7 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither shall I flee from my presence?
ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಲಿ?
8 If I should go up to heaven, thou art there: if I should go down to hell, thou art present. (Sheol h7585)
ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋದರೆ, ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ; ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದರೂ ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ. (Sheol h7585)
9 If I should spread my wings [to fly] straight forward, and sojourn at the extremity of the sea, [it would be vain],
ಉದಯದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
10 for even there thy hand would guide me, and thy right hand would hold me.
ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದು.
11 When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night [was] light in my luxury.
“ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಕು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇರುಳಾಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ,
12 For darkness will not be darkness with thee; but night will be light as day: as its darkness, so shall its light [be to thee].
ಕತ್ತಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಹಗಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವುದು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಿನಂತಿರುವುದು.
13 For thou, O Lord, hast possessed my reins; thou hast helped me from my mother's womb.
ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದವರು ನೀವೇ; ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದವರು ನೀವೇ.
14 I will give thee thanks; for thou art fearfully wondrous; wondrous are thy works; and my soul knows [it] well.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು, ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
15 My bones, which thou madest in secret were not hidden from thee, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth.
ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ, ಭೂಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ಥಿಪಂಜರವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Thine eyes saw my unwrought [substance], and all [men] shall be written in thy book; they shall be formed by day, though [there should for a time] be no one among them.
ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಭ್ರೂಣವಾಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವು; ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಕೊನೆಯದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿನಗಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿವೆ.
17 But thy friends, O God, have been greatly honoured by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened.
ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ! ಅವುಗಳ ಎಣಿಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ!
18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with thee.
ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವು ಮರಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ! ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗುವಾಗ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವೆನು.
19 Oh that thou wouldest slay the wicked, O God; depart from me, ye men of blood.
ದೇವರೇ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನೀವು ದುಷ್ಟರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಿರುವುದು! ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹಿತ!
20 For thou wilt say concerning [their] thought, [that] they shall take thy cities in vain.
ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate thee? and wasted away because of thine enemies?
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸದಿರುವೆನೋ? ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೀನೈಸದಿರುವೆನೋ?
22 I have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies.
ನಾನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ದ್ವೇಷದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths;
ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಚಿಂತಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
24 and see if [there is any] way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way.
ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಡಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿದೆಯೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿರಿ.
