< Psalms 131 >
1 A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.
Nzembo ya Davidi. Nzembo ya mobembo mpo na kokende na Tempelo ya Yawe. Yawe, motema na ngai ezali na lofundu te, miso na ngai ezali na posa makasi te; namipesaka te na makambo oyo eleki ya minene mpe eleki pasi mpo na ngai.
2 [I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so wilt thou recompense my soul.
Kasi nabatelaki kimia kati na motema na ngai mpe namitungisaki te lokola mwana moke elongo na mama na ye. Nazali na kimia lokola mwana oyo mama alongola na mabele.
3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
Isalaele, tia elikya kati na Yawe kobanda sik’oyo mpe libela na libela.
