Psalms 118
1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ, किनकि उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ । किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।
2 Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
इस्राएलले भनोस्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
3 Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
हारूनको घरानाले भनोस्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
4 Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
बफादार भएर परमप्रभुको अनुसरण गर्नेहरूले भनून्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
5 I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he hearkened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
मेरो संकष्टमा मैले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारा गरें । परमप्रभुले मलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो र मलाई स्वतन्त्र गर्नुभयो ।
6 The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
परमप्रभु मसँग हुनुहुन्छ । म भयभीत हुनेछैन । मानिसले मलाई के गर्न सक्छ र?
7 The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
परमप्रभु मेरो सहायकको रूपमा मेरो पक्षमा हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई म विजयको दृष्टिले हे्र्नेछु ।
8 [It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
मानिसमा भरोसा गर्नुभन्दा परमप्रभुमा शरण लिनु असल हुन्छ ।
9 [It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
कसैले शासकहरूमा भरोसा गर्नुभन्दा परमप्रभुमा शरण लिनु असल हुन्छ ।
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
सबै जातिले मलाई घेरा हाले । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
11 They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
तिनीहरूले मलाई घेरा हाले । हो, तिनीहरूले मलाई घेरा हाले । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
12 They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
तिनीहरूले मलाई मौरीहरूले झैं घेरा हाले । काँढाहरू बिचको आगो जत्तिकै छिटो तिनीहरू लोप भए । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
13 I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
तिनीहरूले मलाई गिराउनलाई आक्रमण गरे, तर परमप्रभुले मलाई सहायता गर्नुभयो ।
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
परमप्रभु मेरो बल र आनन्द हुनुहुन्छ, अनि मलाई बचाउने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
15 The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
धर्मीहरूका पालहरूमा विजयको आनन्दित सोर सुनिन्छ । परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुलीले विजय प्राप्त गर्छ ।
16 The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुली उच्च पारिन्छ । परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुलीले विजय प्राप्त गर्छ ।
17 I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
म मर्नेछैन, तर जिउनेछु र परमप्रभुका कामहरू घोषणा गर्नेछु ।
18 The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
परमप्रभुले मलाई कठोर किसिमले दण्ड दिनुभएको छ । तर उहाँले मलाई मृत्युमा सुम्पिनुभएको छैन ।
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
मलाई धार्मिकताका ढोकाहरू खोल्नुहोस् । तिनीहरूभित्र म पस्नेछु र परमप्रभुलाई म धन्यवाद दिनेछु ।
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
यो परमप्रभुको ढोका हो । धर्मी यसबाट भित्र पस्छ ।
21 I will give thanks to thee; because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु, किनकि तपाईंले मलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो र तपाईं मेरो उद्धार हुनुभएको छ ।
22 The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
निर्माण गर्नेहरूले इन्कार गरेको ढुङ्गो कुनेढुङ्गा बनेको छ ।
23 This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
यो परमप्रभुको काम हो । यो हाम्रा दृष्टिमा अचम्मको कुरा हो ।
24 This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
यो दिनमा परमप्रभुले काम गर्नुभएको छ । यसमा हामी आनन्दित हुनेछौं र खुसी हुनेछौं ।
25 O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई विजय दिनुहोस्! हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई सफलता दिनुहोस्!
26 Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आउने धन्यको हो । तिमीलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरबाट हामी आशीर्वाद दिनेछौं ।
27 God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ र उहाँले हामीलाई ज्योति दिनुभएको छ । वेदीका सिङहरूमा बलिदानलाई डोरीहरूले बाँध ।
28 Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will give thanks to thee, for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ, र म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु । तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । म तपाईंलाई उच्च पार्नेछु ।
29 Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ । किनकि उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ । किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।
