< Psalms 102 >

1 A Prayer for the Poor; when he is deeply afflicted, and pours out his supplication before the Lord. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to thee.
Kadhannaa Namni Dhiphate Tokko Faaruu Booʼichaa Faarsee Fuula Waaqayyoo Duratti Dhiʼeeffatu. Yaa Waaqayyo, kadhannaa koo naa dhagaʼi; iyyi ani gargaarsaaf iyyadhus si bira haa gaʼu.
2 Turn not away thy face from me: in the day [when] I am afflicted, incline thine ear to me: in the day [when] I shall call upon thee, speedily hear me.
Yeroo ani dhiphadhetti, fuula kee na duraa hin dhoksin. Gurra kee gara kootti deebisi; yommuu ani si waammadhu dafiitii deebii naa kenni.
3 For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.
Barri koo akkuma aaraatti ni badaatii; lafeen koos akkuma barbadaa ibiddaa bobaʼaa jira.
4 I am blighted like grass, and my heart is dried up; for I have forgotten to eat my bread.
Garaan koo dhukkubsatee akkuma margaa coollageera; ani nyaata koo nyaachuu irraanfadheera.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.
Sababii ani guddisee aaduuf, lafeen koo gogaa kootti maxxaneera.
6 I have become like a pelican of the wilderness;
Ani akka urunguu gammoojjii, akka urunguu lafa barbadaaʼe keessaa nan taʼe.
7 I have become like an owl in a ruined house. I have watched, and am become as a sparrow dwelling alone on a roof.
Ani hirriba malee nan bula; akka simbirroo kophaa ishee guutuu manaa irra jirtuus taʼeera.
8 All the day long mine enemies have reproached me; and they that praised me have sworn against me.
Diinonni koo guyyaa guutuu na arrabsu; warri natti qoosanis abaarsaaf maqaa kootti fayyadamu.
9 For I have eaten ashes as it were bread, and mingled my drink with weeping;
Ani akkuma buddeenaatti daaraa nyaadheeraattii; dhugaatii koottis imimmaan makadheera;
10 because of thine anger and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and dashed me down.
kunis sababii aarii fi dheekkamsa keetiitiif natti dhufe; ati ol na fuutee gad na darbatteertaatii.
11 My days have declined like a shadow; and I am withered like grass.
Barri koo akkuma gaaddidduu galgalaa ti; anis akkuma margaa gogeera.
12 But thou, Lord, endurest for ever, and thy memorial to generation and generation.
Yaa Waaqayyo, ati bara baraan teessoo irra jirta; yaadannoon kees dhaloota hundatti darba.
13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Sion: for [it is] time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come.
Ati kaatee Xiyooniif garaa ni laafta; yeroon itti isheen fudhatama argachuu qabdu ammumaatii; yeroon murteeffame sun gaʼeeraa.
14 For thy servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust.
Garboonni kee dhagaa isheetti gammaduutii; biyyoo ishees ni mararfatu.
15 So the nations shall fear thy name, O Lord, and all kings thy glory.
Saboonni maqaa Waaqayyoo ni sodaatu; mootonni lafaa hundinuus ulfina kee ni kabaju.
16 For the Lord shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.
Waaqayyo deebisee Xiyoonin ijaaraatii; ulfina isaatiinis ni mulʼata.
17 He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.
Inni kadhannaa gadadamtootaa ni dhagaʼa; waammata isaaniis hin tuffatu.
18 Let this be written for another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord.
Akka sabni hamma ammaatti hin dhalatin Waaqayyoon galateeffatuuf, wanni kun akkana jedhamee dhaloota dhufuuf haa barreeffamu:
19 For he has looked out from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord looked upon the earth from heaven;
“Waaqayyo iddoo qulqullummaa isaa gubbaa irraa gad ilaale; samii irraas gara lafaa gad milʼate;
20 to hear the groaning of the fettered ones, to loosen the sons of the slain;
kanas aaduu warra hidhamanii dhagaʼuu fi warra duuti itti murame baasuudhaaf hojjete.”
21 to proclaim the name of the Lord in Sion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
Akkasiin maqaan Waaqayyoo Xiyoon keessatti, galanni isaas Yerusaalem keessatti ni labsama;
22 when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve the Lord.
kunis yommuu saboonnii fi mootummoonni, Waaqayyoon waaqeffachuuf walitti qabamanitti taʼa.
23 He answered him in the way of his strength: tell me the fewness of my days.
Inni jabina koo karaatti hambise; umurii koos ni gabaabse.
24 Take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years [are] through all generations.
Anis akkanan jedhe: “Yaa Waaqa ko, walakkaa umurii kootti na hin fudhatin; waggoonni kee dhalootaa hamma dhaloota hundaatti itti fufu.
25 In the beginning thou, O Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
Ati jalqabatti lafa hundeessite; samiiwwanis hojii harka keetii ti.
26 They shall perish, but thou remainest: and [they all] shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them, and they shall be changed.
Isaan ni badu; ati garuu ni jiraatta; hundumti isaanii akkuma wayyaa ni dhumu. Ati akkuma uffataa isaan geeddarta; isaanis ni badu.
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Ati garuu sanuma; umuriin kees gonkumaa dhuma hin qabu.
28 The children of thy servants shall dwell [securely], and their seed shall prosper for ever.
Ijoolleen garboota keetii sodaa malee jiraatu; sanyiin isaaniis fuula kee dura jiraata.”
