< Psalms 102 >
1 A Prayer for the Poor; when he is deeply afflicted, and pours out his supplication before the Lord. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to thee.

2 Turn not away thy face from me: in the day [when] I am afflicted, incline thine ear to me: in the day [when] I shall call upon thee, speedily hear me.

3 For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, kaie hninnaw teh hmaikhu patetlah a kahma han. Ka hrunaw hah hmaito patetlah a kak.
4 I am blighted like grass, and my heart is dried up; for I have forgotten to eat my bread.
Ka lungthin teh phokahring patetlah, hem lah ao teh a kamyai. Rawca ca hane hai ouk ka pahnim.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.
Ka cingounae dawkvah, ka hru hoi ka vuen khik kâbet.
6 I have become like a pelican of the wilderness;
Kahrawng e tavaca patetlah ka o teh, ka rawk tangcoung e kho dawk e bukbu patetlah ka o.
7 I have become like an owl in a ruined house. I have watched, and am become as a sparrow dwelling alone on a roof.
Ka i nah ka mitmasip thai hoeh, lemphu vah amadueng kaawm e mongmang va patetlah ka o.
8 All the day long mine enemies have reproached me; and they that praised me have sworn against me.
Ka tarannaw ni kanîruirui na pathoe awh. Kaie avanglah na ka pacekpahlek e naw ni kai hah bangnuenae lah thoe na bo awh.
9 For I have eaten ashes as it were bread, and mingled my drink with weeping;
Bangtelah tetpawiteh, hraba hah rawca lah ka khan teh, ka nei hane tui hai mitphi hoi a kâkalawt.
10 because of thine anger and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and dashed me down.
Na lungkhueknae kecu dawk, na tawm teh na tâkhawng.
11 My days have declined like a shadow; and I am withered like grass.
Kaie hninnaw teh kanîka patetlah ao teh, phokahring patetlah a kamyai.
12 But thou, Lord, endurest for ever, and thy memorial to generation and generation.
Hatei, Oe BAWIPA, nang teh a yungyoe na kangning. Na min pahnimhoehnae teh se pueng dawk a kangning.
13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Sion: for [it is] time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come.
Na thaw vaiteh, Zion na lungma han, Zion kho rungngang nahane tueng, atueng khoe e teh a pha toe.
14 For thy servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust.

15 So the nations shall fear thy name, O Lord, and all kings thy glory.
Miphunlouknaw ni BAWIPA min teh a taki awh han. Talaivan e siangpahrang pueng ni na bawilennae hah a taki awh han.
16 For the Lord shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.
BAWIPA ni Zion kho kangdue sak teh a bawilennae lahoi a kamnue sak.
17 He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.
Kavoutnaw e ratoumnae na thai pouh vaiteh, a kâheinae teh noutna laipalah na awm hoeh.
18 Let this be written for another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord.
Hetheh, kaawm hane se hanelah thut lah ao teh kaawm hane tamimaya ni BAWIPA teh a pholen awh han.
19 For he has looked out from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord looked upon the earth from heaven;
Thongkabawtnaw kâhram lawk thai hane hoi a due han toe telah pouk e naw hlout sak hane hoi,
20 to hear the groaning of the fettered ones, to loosen the sons of the slain;
Zion hoi BAWIPA min pâpho hane hoi Jerusalem hoi ama pholen hanelah,
21 to proclaim the name of the Lord in Sion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
BAWIPA thaw tawk hanlah tami pueng hoi ram pueng hmuen touh koe kamkhueng awh toteh,
22 when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve the Lord.
a rasangnae hmuen kathoung koehoi a khet navah, BAWIPA ni talai heh kalvan hoi a khet.
23 He answered him in the way of his strength: tell me the fewness of my days.
Lamthung dawk ka thaonae a youn teh, kanî hah a duem sak teh,
24 Take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years [are] through all generations.
Oe ka Cathut, ka hringyung na lat pouh hanh telah ka ti. Nange na kum teh se pueng hane doeh telah ka ti.
25 In the beginning thou, O Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
Nang ni ahmaloe hoi talai heh na kangdue sak toe. Kalvannaw hah na kut sak doeh.
26 They shall perish, but thou remainest: and [they all] shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them, and they shall be changed.
Hotnaw teh rawknae koe ka phat nakunghai, nang teh a yungyoe na kangning. Hotnaw pueng teh, khohna patetlah ka pawn han. Khohna kâthung patetlah na thung vaiteh kâhleng awh nakunghai,
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
nang teh kâhlengnae awm hoeh. Na kum hai bawnae awm hoeh.
28 The children of thy servants shall dwell [securely], and their seed shall prosper for ever.
Na sannaw e ca catounnaw teh, kangning awh vaiteh, catounnaw hai na hmalah caksak lah ao han.
