< Proverbs 7 >

1 [My] son, keep my words, and hide with thee my commandments. [My] son, honour the Lord, and thou shalt be strong; and fear none but him:
Mofavre'nimoke, Keni'a nentahinka, kasegeni'a eri kagu'afi antegeno raza segantena kva huo.
2 keep my commandments, and thou shalt live; and [keep] my words as the pupils of [thine] eyes.
Kasegeni'ama amage antesanana kagra kasefa hunka nemaninka, rempima hugamisua zana kavurgama kegava nehanankna hunka kegava huo.
3 And bind them on thy fingers, and write [them] on the table of thine heart.
Kazeri kagesa hanigu rini kazampi antaniankna hunka kantu kagu'afi tumoka'are krento.
4 Say that wisdom is thy sister, and gain prudence as an acquaintance for thyself;
Knare antahintahigura nensaro'e nehunka, antahi amahu antahintahigura nenafu'e hunka huo.
5 that she may keep thee from the strange and wicked woman, if she should assail thee with flattering words.
Ve'ama mani'nesia a'mo'ma kazeri savri'ma hu'zama nehinkeno'a, ana kemo'a kaza nehina rugazigati a'mo'ma kazeri savri hunaku'ma masavenkema nehanigeno'a, anankemo'a kagu'vazigahie.
6 For she looks from a window out of her house into the streets, at one whom she may see of the senseless ones, a young man void of understanding,
Mago zupa mani'ne'na noniamofona zaho eri kampinti negogeno,
7 passing by the corner in the passages near her house,
mago'a nehazave enevazafina kogeno amuno zamifina, mago nehaza ne'kanora, knare antahi'zama'a omane'nea ne' ke'noe.
8 and speaking, in the dark of the evening,
Agra monko'amofo nontava'onte vu'nea nonkaranka nevuno, ana a'mofo nonte vu'nea kampi ufreno vu'ne.
9 when there happens [to be] the stillness of night and of darkness:
Hanima huku'ma nehigeno hanimo'ma rentrako huzahifi anara hu'ne.
10 and the woman meets him having the appearance of a harlot, that causes the hearts of young men to flutter.
Ana a'mo'ma kukenama hu'neana monko a'nemo'za nehazankna kukena hu'neno, ana ne'ma masavenkema asamino azeri savri'ma hanigura e'ne.
11 And she is fickle, and debauched, and her feet abide not at home.
Ana a'mo'a kehagra hagra nehuno, nontera manirava oheno kankekanke nehige'za, rama vahe'mo'za ke'za antahi'za hu'naza are.
12 For at one time she wanders without, and at [another] time she lies in wait in the streets, at every corner.
Ana a'mo'a hakarea zupa kampine, maketi kumapine, maka kaziga mani'neno vene'nema evazageno'a rezamaheno zamavazuma hanigu negea akino,
13 Then she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said to him,
ana nehaza nera azeri anukiazamo antako hunenteno, avufga azeri oti'are avunutira negeno anage hu'ne,
14 I have a peace-offering; today I pay my vows:
Nagra menina narimpa fruma eri kresramana vugeno, huvempama hunte'noa kemo'a raga re'ne.
15 therefore I came forth to meet thee, desiring thy face; [and] I have found thee.
Hu'negu kagriku hakare'na kagenaku oregati hago eme kage'na eri forehue.
16 I have spread my bed with sheets, and I have covered it with double tapestry from Egypt.
Isipi vahe'mokizmi pse'ane tavravereti mase tafera hunte'noe.
17 I have sprinkled my couch with saffron, and my house with cinnamon.
Hago knare manama vuzantamina miama, aloima, sinamoninu mase tafepina rutri hu'na ahemna vunte'noe.
18 Come, and let us enjoy love until the morning; come, and let us embrace in love.
Hagi egeta umaseneta, zokagora nereta musena nehanukeno ko'aturanteno.
19 For my husband is not at home, but is gone on a long journey,
Nenave'a nontera omani'neanki, hago afete ka vu'ne.
20 having taken in his hand a bundle of money: after many days he will return to his house.
Zgomo'a ku'afina avite'negeno vu'neankino kora omegosianki ama ikamofona amu'nontega esia kante vu'ne.
21 So with much converse she prevailed on him to go astray, and with the snares of her lips forced him from [the right path].
Ana a'mo'a masavenkema asamino avresia nanekea, rama'a naneke asami'ne.
22 And he followed her, being gently led on, and [that] as an ox is led to the slaughter, and as a dog to bonds, or as a hart shot in the liver with an arrow:
Ana ne'mo'a ame huno ve bulimakao afu aheku avazu hu'za nevazankna huno ana a'mofona avaririno vu'ne.
23 and he hastens as a bird into a snare, not knowing that he is running for [his] life.
Kevemo'ma tumo'ruragino ahesnia zankura agesa ana ne'mo'a nontahino, agra namamo hareno krifu anagintepi ufreankna nehuno, ahe frisia zankura nontahie.
24 Now then, [my] son, hearken to me, and attend to the words of my mouth.
Hanki mofavre'nimote, tamagesa anteso'e hutma nanekeni'a antahiho,
25 Let not thine heart turn aside to her ways:
Atrenkeno tamagu'amo'a ana a'mofo kerera amagera ontege, kavareno agri kantera ovino.
26 for she has wounded and cast down many, and those whom she has slain are innumerable.
Na'ankure ana a'mo'a rama'a vene'ne zamazeri haviza nehuno, zamahe fri'ne.
27 Her house is the way of hell, leading down to the chambers of death. (Sheol h7585)
Hagi ana a'mofo nona fri vahe kerimofo ranka me'neankino, ana kamo'a fri vahe kumapi urami'ne. (Sheol h7585)
