Numbers 32
1 And the children of Ruben and the children of Gad had a multitude of cattle, very great; and they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Galaad; and the place was a place for cattle:
Bakitani ya Ribeni mpe ya Gadi bazalaki na bibwele mingi penza. Bamonaki ete mokili ya Yaezeri mpe ya Galadi ezali malamu mingi mpo na kobokola bibwele.
2 and the children of Ruben and the children of Gad came, and spoke to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the princes of the congregation, saying,
Bongo bakitani ya Ribeni mpe ya Gadi bayaki koloba na Moyize, na Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari mpe na bakambi ya lisanga:
3 Ataroth, and Daebon, and Jazer, and Namra, and Esebon, and Eleale, and Sebama, and Nabau, and Baean,
« Bingumba ya Ataroti, ya Diboni, ya Yaezeri, ya Nimira, ya Eshiboni, ya Eleale, ya Sebami, ya Nebo mpe ya Beoni;
4 the land which the Lord has delivered up before the children of Israel, is pasture land, and thy servants have cattle.
bituka oyo Yawe akweyisaki liboso ya bato ya Isalaele, ezali malamu mpo na kobokola bibwele; nzokande, basali na yo bazali mpe na bibwele. »
5 And they said, If we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given to thy servants for a possession, and do not cause us to pass over Jordan.
Balobaki lisusu: « Soki tozwi ngolu na miso na yo, tika ete mokili oyo epesamela basali na yo lokola libula na biso mpe okatisa biso na ngambo ya Yordani te. »
6 And Moses said to the sons of Gad and the sons of Ruben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?
Moyize alobaki na bakitani ya Gadi mpe ya Ribeni: — Boni, bandeko na bino bakende na bitumba, bongo bino botikala awa?
7 And why do ye pervert the minds of the children of Israel, that they should not cross over into the land, which the Lord gives them?
Mpo na nini bolingi lisusu kolembisa mitema ya bana ya Isalaele oyo bazali kokende na mokili oyo Yawe apesaki bango?
8 Did not your fathers thus, when I sent them from Cades Barne to spy out the land?
Oyo ezali penza makambo oyo batata na bino basalaki tango natindaki bango wuta na Kadeshi-Barinea mpo na kokende kononga mokili.
9 And they went up to the valley of the cluster, and spied the land, and turned aside the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land, which the Lord gave them.
Sima na bango komata na lubwaku ya Eshikoli mpe komona mokili yango, balembisaki mitema ya bana ya Isalaele oyo balingaki kokota na mokili oyo Yawe apesaki bango.
10 And the Lord was very angry in that day, and sware, saying,
Na mokolo wana, kanda ya Yawe epelaki mpe alapaki ndayi oyo:
11 Surely these men who came up out of Egypt from twenty years old and upward, who know good and evil, shall not see the land which I sware [to give] to Abraam and Isaac and Jacob, for they have not closely followed after me:
« Lokola batosaki Ngai te na motema mobimba, moko te kati na bato oyo bazali na mibu tuku mibale mpe komata, ba-oyo babimaki na Ejipito, akomona mokili oyo nalakaki, na nzela ya ndayi, epai ya Abrayami, Izaki mpe Jakobi
12 save Caleb the son of Jephonne, who was set apart, and Joshua the son of Naue, for they closely followed after the Lord.
longola kaka Kalebi, mwana mobali ya Yefune, moto ya libota ya Kenizi, mpe Jozue, mwana mobali ya Nuni, pamba te batosaki Ngai Yawe na mitema na bango mobimba. »
13 And the Lord was very angry with Israel; and for forty years he caused them to wander in the wilderness, until all the generation which did evil in the sight of the Lord was extinct.
Yawe atombokelaki Isalaele mpe asalaki ete bayengayenga na esobe mibu tuku minei kino tango molongo nyonso ya bato oyo basalaki mabe na miso na Ye basilaki kokufa.
14 Behold, ye are risen up in the room of your fathers, a combination of sinful men, to increase yet farther the fierce wrath of the Lord against Israel.
Bino mpe bozali kaka ndenge moko, libota ya bato ya masumu, bozali kaka kosala makambo ndenge moko na batata na bino mpe bozali kopelisa lisusu koleka kanda ya Yawe likolo ya Isalaele.
15 For ye will turn away from him to desert him yet once more in the wilderness, and ye will sin against this whole congregation.
Soki boboyi kolanda nzela na Ye, akotika lisusu bato oyo nyonso na esobe mpe bato oyo bakobebisama likolo na bino.
16 And they came to him, and said, We will build here folds for our cattle, and cities for our possessions;
Babelemaki pene na Moyize mpe balobaki: — Te, tolingi nde kotonga mapango mpo na bibwele na biso mpe bingumba mpo na basi mpe bana na biso awa.
17 and we will arm ourselves and go as an advanced guard before the children of Israel, until we shall have brought them into their place; and our possessions shall remain in walled cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
Kasi tozali kolata na lombangu bibundeli na biso mpe kokende na liboso ya bana ya Isalaele kino tango tokokomisa bango na esika na bango. Bongo, na tango yango, basi mpe bana na biso bakotikala awa, kati na bingumba batonga makasi, mpo na komibatela liboso ya bavandi ya mokili oyo.
18 We will not return to our houses till the children of Israel shall have been distributed, each to his own inheritance.
Tokotikala kozonga na bandako na biso te soki moto moko na moko ya Isalaele azwi libula na ye te;
19 And we will not any longer inherit with them from the other side of Jordan and onwards, because we have our full inheritance on the side beyond Jordan eastward.
mpe tokotikala kozwa libula moko te elongo na bango na ngambo mosusu ya Yordani, pamba te libula oyo esengeli kopesamela biso ezali na ngambo ya este ya Yordani.
20 And Moses said to them, If ye will do according to these words, if ye will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle,
Moyize alobaki na bango: — Soki bosali bongo, soki bolati bibundeli mpo na kokende na bitumba liboso ya Yawe,
21 and every one of you will pass over Jordan fully armed before the Lord, until his enemy be destroyed from before his face,
mpe soki bino nyonso oyo bosimbi bibundeli bokeyi na ngambo mosusu ya Yordani liboso ya Yawe, kino abengana banguna na Ye
22 and the land shall be subdued before the Lord, then afterwards ye shall return, and be guiltless before the Lord, and as regards Israel; and this land shall be to you for a possession before the Lord.
mpe mokili ekoma na se ya bokonzi ya Yawe, nde bokoki kozonga. Ezali na nzela wana nde bokolongwa na ngambo na miso ya Yawe mpe na miso ya bana ya Isalaele, mpe mokili oyo ekokoma libula na bino na miso ya Yawe.
23 But if ye will not do so, ye will sin against the Lord; and ye shall know your sin, when afflictions shall come upon you.
Kasi soki bosali bongo te, bokosala nde lisumu na miso ya Yawe mpe boyeba ete, lisumu na bino ekolanda bino.
24 And ye shall build for yourselves cities for your store, and folds for your cattle; and ye shall do that which proceeds out of your mouth.
Botonga bingumba makasi mpo na basi mpe bana na bino, botonga mapango mpo na bibwele na bino, kasi bokokisa mpe elaka oyo bopesi.
25 And the sons of Ruben and the sons of Gad spoke to Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as our lord commands.
Bakitani ya Gadi mpe ya Ribeni balobaki na Moyize: — Basali na yo bakotosa mitindo ya nkolo na biso.
26 Our store, and our wives, and all our cattle shall be in the cities of Galaad.
Bana mpe basi na biso elongo na banyama mpe bibwele na biso bakotikala awa, na bingumba ya Galadi.
27 But thy servants will go over all armed and set in order before the Lord to battle, as [our] lord says.
Kasi mpo na biso basali na yo, mobali nyonso akosimba bibundeli mpo na kokende na bitumba; tokokatisa na ngambo mpo na kobunda liboso ya Yawe ndenge kaka nkolo na biso asili koloba.
28 And Moses appointed to them [for judges] Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Naue, and the chiefs of the families of the tribes of Israel.
Boye, Moyize apesaki mitindo na tina na bango epai ya Nganga-Nzambe Eleazari, epai ya Jozue, mwana mobali ya Nuni, mpe epai ya bakambi ya mabota ya Isalaele.
29 And Moses said to them, If the sons of Ruben and the sons of Gad will pass over Jordan with you, every one armed for war before the Lord, and ye shall subdue the land before you, then ye shall give to them the land of Galaad for a possession.
Moyize alobaki na bango: — Soki bakitani ya Gadi mpe ya Ribeni, bango nyonso basimbi bibundeli mpo na kokende na bitumba, bakatisi ngambo ya Yordani elongo na bino liboso ya Yawe, mpe tango mokili ekokoma na se ya bokonzi na bino, bopesa bango mokili ya Galadi lokola libula na bango.
30 But if they will not pass over armed with you to war before the Lord, then shall ye cause to pass over their possessions and their wives and their cattle before you into the land of Chanaan, and they shall inherit with you in the land of Chanaan.
Kasi soki bakatisi elongo na bino te mpo na kokende na bitumba, bakozwa libula elongo na bino, na mokili ya Kanana.
31 And the sons of Ruben and the sons of Gad answered, saying, Whatsoever the Lord says to his servants, that will we do.
Bakitani ya Gadi mpe ya Ribeni bazongisaki: — Basali na yo bakosala makambo oyo Yawe alobaki na biso.
32 We will go over armed before the Lord into the land of Chanaan, and ye shall give us our inheritance beyond Jordan.
Tokokatisa na ngambo mosusu liboso ya Yawe kino na mokili ya Kanana mpo na bitumba. Kasi mabele oyo biso tosengeli kozwa lokola libula ekozala na ngambo oyo ya Yordani.
33 And Moses gave to them, even to the sons of Gad and the sons of Ruben, and to the half tribe of Manasse of the sons of Joseph, the kingdom of Seon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Basan, the land and its cities with its coasts, the cities of the land round about.
Boye, Moyize apesaki epai ya bakitani ya Gadi, ya Ribeni mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase, mwana mobali ya Jozefi mokili ya Sikoni, mokonzi ya bato ya Amori mpe mokili ya Ogi, mokonzi ya Bashani: mokili mobimba elongo na bingumba na yango mpe mboka mike oyo ezingelaki yango.
34 And the sons of Gad built Daebon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
Bakitani ya Gadi batongaki bingumba oyo: Diboni, Ataroti, Aroeri;
35 and Sophar, and Jazer, and they set them up,
Aroti-Shofani, Yaezeri, Yogibeka;
36 and Namram, and Baetharan, strong cities, and folds for sheep.
Beti-Nimira mpe Beti-Arani lokola bingumba ya makasi; mpe batongaki lisusu mapango mpo na bibwele na bango.
37 And the sons of Ruben built Esebon, and Eleale, and Kariatham,
Bakitani ya libota ya Ribeni batongaki bingumba oyo: Eshiboni, Eleale mpe Kiriatayimi
38 and Beelmeon, surrounded [with walls], and Sebama; and they called the names of the cities which they built, after their own names.
elongo na Nebo mpe Bala-Meoni, kombo oyo babongola na Sibima. Bapesaki bakombo na bingumba oyo batongaki.
39 And a son of Machir the son of Manasse went to Galaad, and took it, and destroyed the Amorite who dwelt in it.
Bakitani ya Makiri, mwana mobali ya Manase bakendeki kino na Galadi, babotolaki yango mpe babenganaki bato ya Amori oyo bazalaki kovanda kuna.
40 And Moses gave Galaad to Machir the son of Manasse, and he dwelt there.
Boye, Moyize apesaki mokili ya Galadi epai ya bakitani ya Makiri, mwana mobali ya Manase, mpe bakomaki kovanda kuna.
41 And Jair the [son] of Manasse went and took their villages, and called them the villages of Jair.
Yairi, moko kati na bakitani ya Manase, abotolaki bamboka na yango ya mike mpe abengaki yango Avoti Yairi.
42 And Nabau went and took Caath and her villages, and called them Naboth after his name.
Mpe Noba abotolaki Kenati mpe bamboka na yango ya mike oyo ya zingazinga mpe abengaki yango Noba, ndenge ezalaki kombo na ye.
