Numbers 10
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो,
2 Make to thyself two silver trumpets: thou shalt make them of beaten work; and they shall be to thee for the purpose of calling the assembly, and of removing the camps.
“चाँदीका दुईवटा तुरही बना । चाँदीलाई पिटेर तिनीहरूलाई बना । तैँले तुरहीलाई समुदायलाई भेला हुन बोलाउन र तिनीहरूका छाउनी सार्न समुदायलाई बोलाउन प्रयोग गर्नुपर्छ ।
3 And thou shalt sound with them, and all the congregation shall be gathered to the door of the tabernacle of witness.
भेट हुने पालको प्रवेश-द्वारमा तेरो अघि भेला हुन समुदायलाई बोलाउन पुजारीले तुरहीहरू फुक्नुपर्छ ।
4 And if they shall sound with one, all the rulers even the princes of Israel shall come to thee.
यदि पुजारीले एउटा मात्र तुरही फुक्यो भने, अगुवाहरू अर्थात् इस्राएलका कुलका प्रमुखहरू तँकहाँ आउनुपर्छ ।
5 And ye shall sound an alarm, and the camps pitched eastward shall begin to move.
तैँले ठुलो आवाजमा सङ्केत दिँदा पूर्वतिरका छाउनीहरूले आफ्नो यात्रा सुरु गर्नुपर्छ ।
6 And ye shall sound a second alarm, and the camps pitched southward shall move; and ye shall sound a third alarm, and the camps pitched westward shall move forward; and ye shall sound a fourth alarm, and they that encamp toward the north shall move forward: they shall sound an alarm at their departure.
दोस्रो पटक ठुलो आवाजमा सङ्केत गर्दा दक्षिणतिरका छाउनीहरूले तिनीहरूको यात्रा सुरु गर्नुपर्छ । तिनीहरूका यात्राको निम्ति तिनीहरूले ठुलो आवाजमा सङ्केत दिनुपर्छ ।
7 And whenever ye shall gather the assembly, ye shall sound, but not an alarm.
समुदाय सँगै भेला हुँदा तुरही फुक, तर ठुलो आवाजमा होइन ।
8 And the priests the sons of Aaron shall sound with the trumpets; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.
हारूनका छोराहरू अर्थात् पुजारीहरूले तुरही फुक्नुपर्छ । यो तिमीहरूलाई मानिसहरूका पुस्तौँ-पुस्तासम्म सदैवको निम्ति नियम हुनेछ ।
9 And if ye shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall ye sound with the trumpets; and ye shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
तिमीहरूलाई अत्याचार गर्ने शत्रुको विरुद्ध आफ्नो मुलुकमा तिमीहरू युद्ध गर्न जाँदा, तिमीहरूले तुरहीसँगै जनाउँ-ध्वनि दिनुपर्छ । म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले सम्झने छु र तिनीहरूलाई तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूबाट बचाउने छु ।
10 And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole-burnt-offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.
साथै नियमित चाड र महिनाको सुरुवात दुवै किसिमको उत्सवको समयमा, तिमीहरूले आफ्नो होमबलि र मेलबलि चढाउँदा तुरही बजाउनुपर्छ । यिनीहरूले म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरलाई याद दिलाउने छन् । म तिमीहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुँ ।” दोस्रो वर्षको
11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud went up from the tabernacle of witness.
दोस्रो महिनाको बिसौँ दिनमा करारका आदेशहरूका पवित्र वासस्थानबाट हट्यो ।
12 And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the wilderness of Sina; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.
त्यसपछि इस्राएलका मानिसहरू सीनैको मरुभूमिबाट आफ्नो यात्रामा लागे ।
13 And the first rank departed by the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
बादल पारानको मरुभूमिमा रोकियो । मोशाद्वारा दिइएको परमप्रभुको आज्ञा पालन गरेर तिनीहरूले पहिलो यात्रा गरे । यहूदाका सन्तानहरूका झन्डामुनिका छाउनीले आ-आफ्ना फौज लिएर पहिलो लश्करमा हिँडे ।
14 And they first set in motion the order of the camp of the children of Juda with their host; and over their host [was] Naasson, son of Aminadab.
यहूदाको फौजको नेतृत्व अम्मीनादाबका छोरा नहशोनले गरे ।
15 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, [was] Nathanael son of Sogar.
इस्साखारका सन्तानहरूका फौजको नेतृत्व सूआरका छोरा नतनेलले गरे ।
16 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zabulon, [was] Eliab the son of Chaelon.
जबूलूनका सन्तानहरूका फौजको नेतृत्व हेलोनका छोरा एलीआबले गरे ।
17 And they shall take down the tabernacle, and the sons of Gedson shall set forward, and the sons of Merari, who bear the tabernacle.
पवित्र वासस्थानको देखरेख गर्ने गेर्शोन र मरारीका सन्तानहरूले पवित्र वासस्थान उठाए र आफ्नो यात्रामा हिँडे ।
18 And the order of the camp of Ruben set forward with their host; and over their host [was] Elisur the son of Sediur.
फेरि, रूबेनको छाउनीको झन्डामुनिका फौजले यात्रा सुरु गरे । रूबेनको फौजको नेतृत्व शदेऊरका छोरा एलीसूरले गरे ।
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Symeon, [was] Salamiel son of Surisadai.
शिमोयोनका सन्तानहरूका फौजको नेतृत्व सूरीशद्दैका छोरा शलूमीएलले गरे ।
20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad, [was] Elisaph the son of Raguel.
गादका सन्तानहरूका फौजको नेतृत्व दूएलका छोरा एल्यासापले गरे ।
21 And the sons of Caath shall set forward bearing the holy things, and [the others] shall set up the tabernacle until they arrive.
कहातीहरू हिँडे । तिनीहरूले पवित्र स्थानका पवित्र सामानहरू बोके । अरूहरूले कहातीहरू अर्को छाउनीमा नआइपुग्दै पवित्र वासस्थान खडा गर्थे । त्यसपछि एफ्राइमका सन्तानहरूका झन्डामुनिका फौज हिँडे ।
22 And the order of the camp of Ephraim shall set forward with their forces; and over their forces [was] Elisama the son of Semiud.
एफ्राइमको फौजको नेतृत्व अम्मीहूदका छोरा एलीशामा गरे ।
23 And over the forces of the tribes of the sons of Manasse, [was] Gamaliel the [son] of Phadassur.
मनश्शेका सन्तानहरूका फौजको नेतृत्व पदासूरका छोरा गमलिएलले गरे ।
24 And over the forces of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, [was] Abidan the [son] of Gadeoni.
बेन्यामीनका सन्तानहरूका कुलको फौजको नेतृत्व गिदेओनीका छोरा अबीदानले गरे ।
25 And the order of the camp of the sons of Dan shall set forward the last of all the camps, with their forces: and over their forces [was] Achiezer the [son] of Amisadai.
दानको सन्तानहरूका झन्डामुनि छाउनी लगाएका फौज अन्तिममा हिँडे । दानको फौजको नेतृत्व अम्मीशद्दैका छोरा अहीएजेरले गरे ।
26 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Aser, [was] Phageel the son of Echran.
आशेरका सन्तानहरूका कुलको फौजको नेतृत्व ओक्रानका छोरा पगीएलले गरे ।
27 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Nephthali, [was] Achire the son of Aenan.
नप्तालीका सन्तानहरूका कुलको फौजको नेतृत्व एनानका छोरा अहीराले गरे ।
28 These [are] the armies of the children of Israel; and they set forward with their forces.
इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका फौजले यसरी आफ्नो यात्रा सुरु गर्यो । मोशाले मिद्यानी रूएलका छोरा होबाबसँग कुरा गरे ।
29 And Moses said to Obab the son of Raguel the Madianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are going forward to the place concerning which the Lord said, This will I give to you: Come with us, and we will do thee good, for the Lord has spoken good concerning Israel.
रूएल मोशाका ससुरा थिए । मोशाले होबाबसँग कुरा गरे र भने, “हामी परमप्रभुले भन्नुभएको ठाउँतिर यात्रा गरिरहेका छौँ । परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, 'म यो तिमीहरूलाई दिने छु ।' हामीसँगै आउनुहोस् र हामीले तपाईंलाई असल गर्ने छौँ । परमप्रभुले इस्राएलको निम्ति असल गर्ने प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएको छ ।”
30 And he said to him, I will not go, but [I will go] to my land and to my kindred.
तर होबाबले मोशालाई भने, “म तिमीहरूसँग जाँदिनँ । म मेरो आफ्नै मुलुकतिर र मेरा आफ्नै मानिसहरूकहाँ जाने छु ।”
31 And he said, Leave us not, because thou hast been with us in the wilderness, and thou shalt be an elder among us.
त्यसपछि मोशाले जवाफ दिए, “कृपया, हामीलाई नछोड्नुहोस् । मरुभूमिमा कसरी छाउनी लगाउने भनी तपाईंलाई थाहा छ । तपाईंले हाम्रो हेरचाह गर्नुपर्छ ।
32 And it shall come to pass if thou wilt go with us, it shall even come to pass that in whatsoever things the Lord shall do us good, we will also do thee good.
यदि तपाईं हामीसँग जानुभयो भने परमप्रभुले हामीलाई असल गर्नुभएझैँ हामी तपाईंको निम्ति असल नै गर्नेछौँ ।” तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको पर्वतबाट तिन दिनसम्म यात्रा गरे ।
33 And they departed from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them a three days' journey to provide rest for them.
तिनीहरूको निम्ति विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ पत्ता लगाउन परमप्रभुको करारको सन्दूक तिन दिनसम्म तिनीहरूको अघि-अघि लगियो ।
34 And the cloud overshadowed them by day, when they departed from the camp.
तिनीहरूले यात्रा गर्दा परमप्रभुको बादल दिनमा तिनीहरूसँग थियो ।
35 And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Arise, O Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered: let all that hate thee flee.
जब-जब सन्दूक उठाइन्थ्यो मोशाले यसो भन्थे, “हे परमप्रभु, उठ्नुहोस् । तपाईंका शत्रुहरूलाई तितरबितर पार्नुहोस् । तपाईंलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई तपाईंदेखि भाग्न लगाउनुहोस् ।”
36 And in the resting he said, Turn again, O Lord, the thousands [and] tens of thousands in Israel.
जब-जब सन्दूक रोकिन्थ्यो, मोशाले यसो भन्थे, “हे परमप्रभु, हजारौँ हजार इस्राएलतिर फर्कनुहोस् ।”
