Leviticus 22
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and let them take heed concerning the holy things of the children of Israel, so they shall not profane my holy name in any of the things which they consecrate to me: I [am] the Lord.
Ordena a Aarón y a sus hijos que se mantengan separados de las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel me dan, y que no hagan que mi santo nombre sea profanado. Yo soy el Señor.
3 Say to them, Every man throughout your generations, whoever of all your seed shall approach to the holy things, whatsoever the children of Israel shall consecrate to the Lord, while his uncleanness is upon him, that soul shall be cut off from me: I [am] the Lord your God.
Díles: Si algún hombre de toda tu descendencia a través de todas tus generaciones, siendo impuro, se acerca a las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel consagran para el Señor, él será cortado de delante de mí. Yo soy El Señor.
4 And the man of the seed of Aaron the priest, if he should have leprosy or issue of the reins, shall not eat of the holy things, until he be cleansed; and he that touches any uncleanness of a dead body, or the man whose seed of copulation shall have gone out from him,
Ningún hombre de la simiente de Aarón, que es un leproso o que derrame de su cuerpo, puede tomar la comida sagrada hasta que esté limpio. Y cualquier hombre tocando cualquier cosa que sea impura a causa de los muertos, o cualquier hombre cuya emisión de semen salga de él;
5 or whosoever shall touch any unclean reptile, which will defile him, or [who shall touch] a man, whereby he shall defile him according to all his uncleanness:
O cualquiera que toque alguna cosa impura que se deslice sobre la tierra, o alguien por quien pueda ser impuro de cualquier manera;
6 whatsoever soul shall touch them shall be unclean until evening; he shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water,
Cualquier persona que toque algo inmundo será impura hasta la tarde, y no podrá tomar la comida sagrada hasta que su carne haya sido bañada en agua;
7 and the sun go down, and then he shall be clean; and then shall he eat of all the holy things, for they are his bread.
Y cuando el sol se haya puesto, él estará limpio; y después de eso puede participar en la comida santa, porque es su pan.
8 He shall not eat that which dies of itself, or is taken of beasts, so that he should be polluted by them: I [am] the Lord.
Lo que llega a una muerte natural, o es atacado por bestias, no puede tomarlo como alimento, ya que lo hará inmundo. Yo soy el Señor.
9 And they shall keep my ordinances, that they do not bear iniquity because of them, and die because of them, if they shall profane them: I [am] the Lord God that sanctifies them.
Entonces, que guarden mis ordenanzas las que yo he puesto a su cuidado, por temor a que el pecado pueda caer sobre ellos, causando así su muerte porque la han profanado. Yo soy el Señor, quien los hace santos.
10 And no stranger shall eat the holy things: one that sojourns with a priest, or a hireling, shall not eat the holy things.
Ninguna persona externa puede comer la comida sagrada, o una que viva como huésped en la casa del sacerdote, o un sirviente.
11 But if a priest should have a soul purchased for money, he shall eat of his bread; and they that are born in his house, they also shall eat of his bread.
Pero cualquier sacerdote que haya comprado una persona de su dinero, éste podrá comer de la ofrenda sagrada; y los que nacen en su casa, comerán de su pan también.
12 And if the daughter of a priest should marry a stranger, she shall not eat of the offerings of the sanctuary.
Y si la hija de un sacerdote está casada con una persona externa, ella no puede tomar de las cosas santas que se levantan como ofrendas.
13 And if the daughter of priest should be a widow, or put away, and have no seed, she shall return to her father's house, as in her youth: she shall eat of her father's bread, but no stranger shall eat of it.
Pero si la hija de un sacerdote es viuda o se separa de su esposo, no tiene hijos y regresa a la casa de su padre como cuando era niña, ella puede tomar el pan de su padre; pero ninguna persona externa puede hacerlo.
14 And the man who shall ignorantly eat holy things, shall add the fifth part to it, and give the holy thing to the priest.
Y si un hombre toma la santa comida por error, tendrá que devolver la cosa sagrada al sacerdote, con la adición de una quinta parte.
15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer to the Lord.
Y no profanarán las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel dan al Señor,
16 So should they bring upon themselves the iniquity of trespass in their eating their holy things: for I [am] the Lord that sanctifies them.
Entonces, haciendo que caiga el pecado sobre ellos cuando toman sus cosas santas para comer: Yo soy el Señor que los hace santos.
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
18 Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the congregation of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that abide among them in Israel, who shall offer his gifts according to all their confession and according to all their choice, whatsoever they may bring to the Lord for whole-burnt-offerings—
Di a Aarón, a sus hijos y a todos los hijos de Israel: si alguno de los hijos de Israel, o de otra nación que vive en Israel, hace una ofrenda, dada por un juramento o dada gratuitamente al Señor por una ofrenda quemada;
19 your free-will-offerings [shall] be males without blemish of the herds, or of the sheep, or of the goats.
Para que sea agradable al Señor, que dé un macho, sin ningún defecto, de entre los bueyes o las ovejas o las cabras.
20 They shall not bring to the Lord anything that has a blemish in it, for it shall not be acceptable for you.
Pero cualquier cosa que tenga un defecto no se puede dar; no complacerá al Señor.
21 And whatsoever man shall offer a peace-offering to the Lord, discharging a vow, or in the way of free-will-offering, or an offering in your feasts, of the herds or of the sheep, it shall be without blemish for acceptance: there shall be no blemish in it.
Y el que hace una ofrenda de paz al Señor, pagando un juramento o como ofrenda gratuita, de la manada o del rebaño, si es para agradar al Señor, sea libre de todo defecto.
22 One that is blind, or broken, or has its tongue cut out, or is troubled with warts, or has a malignant ulcer, or tetters, they shall not offer these to the Lord; neither shall ye offer any of them for a burnt-offering on the altar of the Lord.
Cualquier cosa ciega o rota o dañada o que tenga alguna enfermedad o defecto no puede ser ofrecida al Señor; No puedes hacer una ofrenda de ella por fuego sobre el altar al Señor.
23 And a calf or a sheep with the ears cut off, or that has lost its tail, thou shalt slay them for thyself; but they shall not be accepted for thy vow.
Un buey o un cordero que tiene partes más cortas o más largas, no puede darse como una ofrenda gratis; Pero no se tomará en pago de un juramento.
24 That which has broken testicles, or is crushed or gelt or mutilated, —thou shalt not offer them to the Lord, neither shall ye sacrifice them upon your land.
Un animal que tiene partes del sexo dañadas o aplastadas o rotas o cortadas, no puede ser ofrecido al Señor; Tal cosa no puede hacerse en ningún lugar de tu tierra.
25 Neither shall ye offer the gifts of your God of all these things by the hand of a stranger, because there is corruption in them, a blemish in them: these shall not be accepted for you.
Y de alguien que no es israelita no puedes tomar ninguno de estos para una ofrenda al Señor; porque son impuros, hay un defecto en ellos, y el Señor no estará complacido con ellos.
26 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
27 As for a calf, or a sheep, or a goat, whenever it is born, then shall it be seven days under its mother; and on the eighth day and after they shall be accepted for sacrifices, a burnt-offering to the Lord.
Cuando un buey o una oveja o una cabra nazca, déjalo estar con su madre durante siete días; y después del octavo día puede tomarse como una ofrenda hecha por fuego al Señor.
28 And a bullock and a ewe, it and its young, thou shalt not kill in one day.
Una vaca o una oveja no puede ser condenada a muerte con sus crías el mismo día.
29 And if thou shouldest offer a sacrifice, a vow of rejoicing to the Lord, ye shall offer it so as to be accepted for you.
Y cuando hagas una ofrenda de alabanza al Señor, hazlo de una manera que le agrade.
30 In that same day it shall be eaten; ye shall not leave of the flesh till the morrow: I am the Lord.
Dejen que sea usado para comer en el mismo día; No guardes nada hasta la mañana: Yo soy el Señor.
31 And ye shall keep my commandments and do them.
Entonces, cumple mis órdenes y hazlas: Yo soy el Señor.
32 And ye shall not profane the name of the Holy One, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the children of Israel. I [am] the Lord that sanctifies you,
Y no profanen mi santo nombre; para que los hijos de Israel lo guarden santo: Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.
33 who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] the Lord.
Quien te sacó de la tierra de Egipto para que yo sea tu Dios: Yo soy el Señor.
