Leviticus 2

1 And if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.

Lorsqu’un homme offrira une oblation de sacrifice au Seigneur, c’est de fleur de farine que sera son oblation; et il répandra de l’huile sur elle, et il mettra de l’encens;

2 And he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: [it is] a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savour to the Lord.

Puis il la portera aux fils d’Aaron, prêtres, dont l’un prendra une pleine poignée de fleur de farine et d’huile et tout l’encens, et il le posera comme un souvenir sur l’autel, en odeur très suave pour le Seigneur.

3 And the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord.

Mais ce qui sera de reste du sacrifice, appartiendra à Aaron et à ses fils, comme une chose très sainte des oblations du Seigneur.

4 And if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, [he shall bring] unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil.

Et lorsque tu offriras le sacrifice d’une chose cuite au four, elle sera de fleur de farine, c’est-à-dire, de pains sans levain, arrosés d’huile, et de beignets azymes oints d’huile,

5 And if thy gift [be] a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened [offerings].

Si ton oblation se fait d’une chose cuite dans la poêle, de fleur de farine arrosée d’huile et sans levain,

6 And thou shalt break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord.

Tu la couperas en petits morceaux, et tu répandras sur elle de l’huile.

7 And if thy gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

Mais si c’est d’une chose cuite sur le gril que se fait le sacrifice, la fleur de farine sera également arrosée d’huile;

8 And he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest.

Et l’offrant au Seigneur, tu la remettras aux mains du prêtre,

9 And the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.

Qui, lorsqu’il l’aura offerte, prendra une partie du sacrifice comme un souvenir, et il la brûlera sur l’autel, en odeur de suavité pour le Seigneur:

10 And that which is left of the sacrifice [shall be] for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt-offerings of the Lord.

Mais tout ce qui sera de reste, appartiendra à Aaron et à ses fils, comme une chose très sainte des oblations du Seigneur.

11 Ye shall not leaven any sacrifice which ye shall bring to the Lord; for [as to] any leaven, or any honey, ye shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord.

Toute oblation qui sera offerte au Seigneur, se fera sans levain, et rien en fait de levain et de miel ne sera brûlé, quand on sacrifiera au Seigneur.

12 Ye shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet-smelling savour to the Lord.

Vous les offrirez seulement comme des prémices et des dons; mais ils ne seront pas mis sur l’autel en odeur de suavité.

13 And every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours ye shall offer salt to the Lord your God.

Tout ce que tu offriras en sacrifice, tu l’assaisonneras de sel, et tu n’ôteras pas de ton sacrifice le sel de l’alliance de ton Dieu. Dans toute oblation tu offriras du sel.

14 And if thou wouldest offer a sacrifice of first-fruits to the Lord, [it shall be] new grains ground [and] roasted for the Lord; so shalt thou bring the sacrifice of the first-fruits.

Mais si tu offres au Seigneur un présent de tes premiers grains, des épis encore verts, tu les rôtiras au feu, et tu les briseras à la manière du froment, et c’est ainsi que tu offriras tes prémices au Seigneur,

15 And thou shalt pour oil upon it, and shalt put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.

Répandant de l’huile dessus, et mettant de l’encens, parce que c’est une oblation du Seigneur,

16 And the priest shall offer the memorial of it [taken] from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt-offering to the Lord.

Dans laquelle le prêtre brûlera, en mémoire du présent une partie du froment brisé et de l’huile, et tout l’encens.
