Leviticus 18

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

۱ و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

2 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, I [am] the Lord your God.

۲ «بنی‌اسرائیل را خطاب کرده، به ایشان بگو: من یهوه خدای شما هستم.

3 Ye shall not do according to the devices of Egypt, in which ye dwelt: and according to the devices of the land of Chanaan, into which I bring you, ye shall not do; and ye shall not walk in their ordinances.

۳ مثل اعمال زمین مصر که در آن ساکن می‌بودید عمل منمایید، و مثل اعمال زمین کنعان که من شما را به آنجا داخل خواهم کرد عمل منمایید، و برحسب فرایض ایشان رفتار مکنید.

4 Ye shall observe my judgments, and shall keep my ordinances, and shall walk in them: I [am] the Lord your God.

۴ احکام مرا بجاآورید و فرایض مرا نگاه دارید تا در آنها رفتارنمایید، من یهوه خدای شما هستم.

5 So ye shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgments, and do them; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I [am] the Lord your God.

۵ پس فرایض و احکام مرا نگاه دارید، که هر آدمی که آنها را بجاآورد در آنها زیست خواهد کرد، من یهوه هستم.

6 No man shall draw nigh to any of his near kindred to uncover their nakedness; I [am] the Lord.

۶ هیچ‌کس به احدی از اقربای خویش نزدیکی ننماید تا کشف عورت او بکند. من یهوه هستم.

7 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, for she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

۷ عورت پدر خود یعنی مادر خود را کشف منما؛ او مادر توست. کشف عورت او مکن.

8 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's wife; it is thy father's nakedness.

۸ عورت زن پدر خود را کشف مکن. آن عورت پدر تو است.

9 The nakedness of thy sister by thy father or by thy mother, born at home or abroad, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

۹ عورت خواهر خود، خواه دختر پدرت، خواه دختر مادرت چه مولود در خانه، چه مولودبیرون، عورت ایشان را کشف منما.

10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or thy daughter's daughter, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover; because it is thy nakedness.

۱۰ عورت دختر پسرت و دختر دخترت، عورت ایشان را کشف مکن، زیرا که اینها عورت تو است.

11 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of the daughter of thy father's wife; she is thy sister by the same father: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

۱۱ عورت دختر زن پدرت که از پدر تو زاییده شده باشد، او خواهر تو است کشف عورت او رامکن.

12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister, for she is near akin to thy father.

۱۲ عورت خواهر پدر خود را کشف مکن، او از اقربای پدر تو است.

13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is near akin to thy mother.

۱۳ عورت خواهرمادر خود را کشف مکن، او از اقربای مادر تواست.

14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, and thou shalt not go in to his wife; for she is thy relation.

۱۴ عورت برادر پدر خود را کشف مکن، وبه زن او نزدیکی منما. او (به منزله ) عمه تو است.

15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law, for she is thy son's wife, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

۱۵ عورت عروس خود را کشف مکن، او زن پسرتو است. عورت او را کشف مکن.

16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

۱۶ عورت زن برادر خود را کشف مکن. آن عورت برادر تواست.

17 The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter, shalt thou not take, to uncover their nakedness, for they are thy kinswomen: it is impiety.

۱۷ عورت زنی را با دخترش کشف مکن. ودختر پسر او یا دختر دختر او را مگیر، تا عورت او را کشف کنی. اینان از اقربای او می‌باشند و این فجور است.

18 Thou shalt not take a wife in addition to her sister, as a rival, to uncover her nakedness in opposition to her, while she is yet living.

۱۸ و زنی را با خواهرش مگیر، تاهیوی او بشود، و تا عورت او را با وی مادامی که او زنده است، کشف نمایی.

19 And thou shalt not go in to a woman under separation for her uncleanness, to uncover her nakedness.

۱۹ و به زنی درنجاست حیضش نزدیکی منما، تا عورت او راکشف کنی.

20 And thou shalt not lie with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

۲۰ و با زن همسایه خود همبسترمشو، تا خود را با وی نجس سازی.

21 And thou shalt not give of thy seed to serve a ruler; and thou shalt not profane my holy name; I [am] the Lord.

۲۱ و کسی ازذریت خود را برای مولک از آتش مگذران و نام خدای خود را بی‌حرمت مساز. من یهوه هستم.

22 And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination.

۲۲ و با ذکور مثل زن جماع مکن، زیرا که این فجور است.

23 Neither shalt thou lie with any quadruped for copulation, to be polluted with it: neither shall a woman present herself before any quadruped to have connexion with it; for it is an abomination.

۲۳ و با هیچ بهیمه‌ای جماع مکن، تاخود را به آن نجس سازی، و زنی پیش بهیمه‌ای نایستد تا با آن جماع کند، زیرا که این فجوراست.

24 Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for in all these things the nations are defiled, which I drive out before you,

۲۴ «به هیچ کدام از اینها خویشتن را نجس مسازید، زیرا به همه اینها امتهایی که من پیش روی شما بیرون می‌کنم، نجس شده‌اند.

25 and the land is polluted; and I have recompensed their iniquity to them because of it, and the land is aggrieved with them that dwell upon it.

۲۵ وزمین نجس شده است، و انتقام گناهش را از آن خواهم کشید، و زمین ساکنان خود را قی خواهدنمود.

26 And ye shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and ye shall do none of these abominations; neither the native, nor the stranger that joins himself with you:

۲۶ پس شما فرایض و احکام مرا نگاه دارید، و هیچ کدام از این فجور را به عمل نیاورید، نه متوطن و نه غریبی که در میان شما ماواگزیند.

27 (for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled, )

۲۷ زیرا مردمان آن زمین که قبل از شمابودند، جمیع این فجور را کردند، و زمین نجس شده است.

28 and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you.

۲۸ مبادا زمین شما را نیز قی کند، اگرآن را نجس سازید، چنانکه امتهایی را که قبل ازشما بودند، قی کرده است.

29 For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people.

۲۹ زیرا هر کسی‌که یکی از این فجور را بکند، همه کسانی که کرده باشند، از میان قوم خود منقطع خواهند شد.

30 And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I [am] the Lord your God.

۳۰ پس وصیت مرا نگاه دارید، و از این رسوم زشت که قبل از شما به عمل آورده شده است عمل منمایید، و خود را به آنها نجس مسازید. من یهوه خدای شما هستم.»
