Job 40
1 And the Lord God answered Job, and said,
യഹോവ പിന്നെയും ഇയ്യോബിനോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:
2 Will [any one] pervert judgment with the Mighty One? and he that reproves God, let him return it for answer.
“സർവശക്തനോട് എതിർക്കുന്നവർ അവിടത്തെ തെറ്റുകൾ തിരുത്തുമോ? ദൈവത്തിൽ കുറ്റം ആരോപിക്കുന്നവർ ഇതിന് ഉത്തരം പറയട്ടെ.”
3 And Job answered and said to the Lord,
അപ്പോൾ ഇയ്യോബ് യഹോവയോട് ഇപ്രകാരം മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു:
4 Why do I yet plead? being rebuked even while reproving the Lord: hearing such things, whereas I am nothing: and what shall I answer to these [arguments]? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.
“കണ്ടാലും, ഞാൻ എത്ര അയോഗ്യൻ! ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് എങ്ങനെ ഉത്തരം പറയും? ഞാൻ കൈകൊണ്ടു വായ് പൊത്തുകയാണ്.
5 I have spoken once; but I will not do so a second time.
ഒരുപ്രാവശ്യം ഞാൻ സംസാരിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ ഇനി എനിക്ക് ഒരു മറുപടിയുമില്ല. രണ്ടുപ്രാവശ്യം ഞാൻ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു; ഇനി ഞാൻ ഒന്നും മിണ്ടുകയില്ല.”
6 And the Lord yet again answered and spoke to Job out of the cloud, [saying],
അതിനുശേഷം യഹോവ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിൽനിന്ന് ഇയ്യോബിനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു:
7 Nay, gird up now thy loins like a man; and I will ask thee, and do thou answer me.
“ഇപ്പോൾ നീ ഒരു പുരുഷനെപ്പോലെ അര മുറുക്കിക്കൊൾക; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കും നീ എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരം നൽകണം.
8 Do not set aside my judgment: and dost thou think that I have dealt with thee in any other way, than that thou mightest appear to be righteous?
“നീ എന്റെ ന്യായവിധിയെ റദ്ദാക്കുമോ? നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ നീതീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് എന്നെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കുമോ?
9 Hast thou an arm like the Lord's? or dost thou thunder with a voice like his?
അഥവാ, ദൈവത്തിന്റേതുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു ഭുജം നിനക്കുണ്ടോ? അവിടത്തേതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഇടിനാദം മുഴക്കുമോ?
10 Assume now a lofty bearing and power; and clothe thyself with glory and honour.
മഹിമയും പ്രതാപവുംകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നെ അലങ്കരിക്കുക, ബഹുമാനവും ഗാംഭീര്യവും നീ ധരിച്ചുകൊൾക.
11 And send forth messengers with wrath; and lay low every haughty one.
നിന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിന്റെ ഘോരതയുടെ കെട്ടുകൾ അഴിയപ്പെടട്ടെ, അഹങ്കാരികളായ എല്ലാവരുടെയുംമേൽ നീ നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ച് അവരെ താഴ്ത്തിയാലും.
12 Bring down also the proud man; and consume at once the ungodly.
നിഗളികളായ ഓരോരുത്തരുടെമേലും നീ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ച് അവരെ നിസ്സാരരാക്കിയാലും. ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ നിൽക്കുന്നിടത്തുതന്നെവെച്ച് അവരെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചാലും.
13 And hide them together in the earth; and fill their faces with shame.
അവരെ ഒന്നടങ്കം പൊടിയിലാഴ്ത്തിയാലും; ശവക്കുഴികളിൽ അവരുടെ മുഖം മറവുചെയ്താലും.
14 [Then] will I confess that thy right hand can save [thee].
അപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വലതുകരത്തിനു നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെന്നു ഞാൻതന്നെ സമ്മതിച്ചുതരാം.
15 But now look at the wild beasts with thee; they eat grass like oxen.
“നിന്നെയെന്നപോലെ ഞാൻ നിർമിച്ച നീർക്കുതിരയെ നോക്കുക. അതു കാളയെപ്പോലെ പുല്ലുതിന്നുന്നു.
16 Behold now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
അതിന്റെ ഇടുപ്പിന്റെ ശക്തി നോക്കുക, ഉദരപേശികളിലാണ് അതിന്റെ ബലം.
17 He sets up his tail like a cypress; and his nerves are wrapped together.
ദേവദാരുപോലെയുള്ള അതിന്റെ വാൽ ആട്ടുന്നു; അതിന്റെ തുടകളിലെ ഞരമ്പുകൾ കൂടിപ്പിണഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
18 His sides are sides of brass; and his backbone is [as] cast iron.
അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ വെങ്കലക്കുഴലുകളാണ്, അതിന്റെ കൈകാലുകൾ ഇരുമ്പുദണ്ഡുകൾപോലെ.
19 This is the chief of the creation of the Lord; made to be played with by his angels.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടികളിൽ മുഖ്യസ്ഥാനമാണ് അതിനുള്ളത്; എങ്കിലും അതിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിന് ഒരു വാളുമായി അതിനെ സമീപിക്കാൻ കഴിയും.
20 And when he has gone up to a steep mountain, he causes joy to the quadrupeds in the deep.
പർവതങ്ങൾ അതിന് ആഹാരമൊരുക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളും അതിനരികെ വിഹരിക്കുന്നു.
21 He lies under trees of every kind, by the papyrus, and reed, and bulrush.
താമരച്ചെടിയുടെ തണലിലും ഞാങ്ങണയുടെ മറവിലെ ചതുപ്പുനിലത്തും അതു കിടക്കുന്നു.
22 And the great trees make a shadow over him with their branches, and [so do] the bushes of the field.
താമരച്ചെടികൾ അതിന്റെ തണലിൽ അതിനെ മറയ്ക്കുന്നു; അരുവികളിലെ അലരിച്ചെടികൾ അതിനെ ചുറ്റിനിൽക്കുന്നു.
23 If there should be a flood, he will not perceive it; he trust that Jordan will rush up into his mouth.
നദി ഇരമ്പിക്കയറിവന്നാൽ അതു പേടിക്കുകയില്ല; യോർദാൻനദി അതിന്റെ വായ്ക്കുനേരേ കുതിച്ചുയർന്നാലും അതു സുരക്ഷിതമായിരിക്കും!
24 [Yet one] shall take him in his sight; [one] shall catch [him] with a cord, and pierce his nose.
അത് ഉണർന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും അതിനെ പിടികൂടാമോ? അതിനു കെണിവെച്ച്, അതിന്റെ മൂക്കു തുളയ്ക്കാൻ ആർക്കു കഴിയും?
