Job 33
1 Howbeit hear, Job, my words, and hearken to my speech.
౧యోబు, దయచేసి నా వాదం ఆలకించు. నా మాటలన్నీ విను.
2 For behold, I have opened my mouth, and my tongue has spoken.
౨ఇదిగో నేను మాటలాడడం మొదలుపెట్టాను. నా నోట నా నాలుక ఆడుతున్నది.
3 My heart [shall be found] pure by [my] words; and the understanding of my lips shall meditate purity.
౩నా మాటలు నా హృదయ యథార్థతను తెలుపుతున్నాయి. నా పెదవులు జ్ఞానాన్ని యథార్థంగా పలుకుతాయి.
4 The Divine Spirit is that which formed me, and the breath of the Almighty that which teaches me.
౪దేవుని ఆత్మ నన్ను సృష్టించింది. సర్వశక్తుని శ్వాస నాకు జీవమిచ్చింది.
5 If thou canst, give me an answer: wait therefore; stand against me, and I [will stand] against thee.
౫నీ చేతనైతే నాకు జవాబియ్యి. నా ఎదుట నీ వాదం సిద్ధపరచుకో. వ్యాజ్యెమాడు.
6 Thou art formed out of the clay as also I: we have been formed out of the same [substance].
౬దేవుని దృష్టిలో నేను కూడా నీలాంటి వాణ్ణి. నేను కూడా బంకమట్టితో తయారైన వాణ్ణి.
7 My fear shall not terrify thee, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
౭నా భయం నిన్ను బెదిరించదు. నా చెయ్యి నీ మీద బరువుగా ఉండదు.
8 But thou hast said in mine ears, (I have heard the voice of thy words; ) because thou sayest, I am pure, not having sinned;
౮నిశ్చయంగా నీ పలుకులు నా చెవిని బడ్డాయి. నీ మాటల ధ్వని నాకు వినబడింది.
9 I am blameless, for I have not transgressed.
౯ఏమంటే “నేను నేరం లేని పవిత్రుణ్ణి, మాలిన్యం లేని పాపరహితుణ్ణి.
10 Yet he has discovered a charge against me, and he has reckoned me as an adversary.
౧౦ఆయన నా మీద తప్పులెన్నడానికి తరుణం వెతుకుతున్నాడు. నన్ను తనకు పగవానిగా భావిస్తున్నాడు.
11 And he has put my foot in the stocks, and has watched all my ways.
౧౧ఆయన నా కాళ్లను బొండలో బిగిస్తున్నాడు. నా దారులన్నిటినీ కనిపెట్టి చూస్తున్నాడు” అని నీవంటున్నావు.
12 For how sayest thou, I am righteous, yet he has not hearkened to me? for he that is above mortals is eternal.
౧౨నేను నీకు జవాబు చెబుతాను. నీవు ఇలా చెప్పడం సరికాదు. దేవుడు మానవుడికన్నా గొప్పవాడు.
13 But thou sayest, Why has he not heard every word of my cause?
౧౩నీవెందుకు ఆయనతో పోరాడతావు? తన క్రియల్లో దేన్ని గురించీ ఆయన సంజాయిషీ చెప్పుకోడు.
14 For when the Lord speaks once, or a second time,
౧౪దేవుడు ఒక్కమారే పలుకుతాడు. రెండు సార్లు పలుకుతాడు. అయితే మనుషులు అది కనిపెట్టరు.
15 [sending] a dream, or in the meditation of the night; (as when a dreadful alarm happens to fall upon men, in slumberings on the bed: )
౧౫మంచం మీద కునికే సమయంలో, గాఢనిద్ర పట్టేటప్పుడు వచ్చే స్వప్నాల్లో మాట్లాడుతాడు.
16 then opens he the understanding of men: he scares them with such fearful visions:
౧౬ఆయన మనుషుల చెవులను తెరుస్తాడు. వారిని భయపెడతాడు.
17 to turn a man from unrighteousness, and he delivers his body from a fall.
౧౭మనుషులు గర్విష్ఠులు కాకుండా చేయడానికి, తాము తలపెట్టిన పాపకార్యం వారు మానుకొనేలా చేయడానికి,
18 He spares also his soul from death, and [suffers] him not to fall in war.
౧౮గోతికి పోకుండా వారి జీవాన్ని, మరణం కాకుండా వారి ప్రాణాన్ని తప్పించడానికి,
19 And again, he chastens him with sickness on his bed, and the multitude of his bones is benumbed.
౧౯వ్యాధిచేత మంచం పట్టడం మూలంగానూ, ఒకడి ఎముకల్లో ఎడతెగని నొప్పులు కలగడం మూలంగానూ వాణ్ణి శిక్షిస్తాడు.
20 And he shall not be able to take any food, though his soul shall desire meat;
౨౦రొట్టె, రుచిగల ఆహారం వాడికి అసహ్యం అవుతుంది.
21 until his flesh shall be consumed, and he shall shew his bones bare.
౨౧వాడి ఒంట్లో మాంసం క్షీణించిపోయి వికారమై పోతుంది. బయటికి కనబడని ఎముకలు పైకి పొడుచుకు వస్తాయి.
22 His soul also draws nigh to death, and his life is in Hades.
౨౨వాడు సమాధికి దగ్గర అవుతాడు. వాడి ప్రాణం హంతకులకు చేరువ అవుతుంది.
23 Though there should be a thousand messengers of death, not one of them shall wound him: if he should purpose in his heart to turn to the Lord, and declare to man his fault, and shew his folly;
౨౩మనుషులకు యుక్తమైనది ఏదో దాన్ని వాడికి తెలియజేయడానికి వేలాది దేవదూతల్లో ఒకడు వాడికి మధ్యవర్తిగా ఉంటే,
24 he will support him, that he should not perish, and will restore his body as [fresh] plaster upon a wall; and he will fill his bones with morrow.
౨౪ఆ దేవదూత వాడిపై కరుణ చూపి దేవునితో “పాతాళంలోకి దిగిపోకుండా ఇతన్ని విడిపించు. ఇతని పక్షంగా పరిహారం దొరికింది” అని గనక అంటే,
25 And he will make his flesh tender as that of a babe, and he will restore him among men in [his] full strength.
౨౫అప్పుడు వాడి మాంసం చిన్నపిల్లల మాంసం కన్నా ఆరోగ్యంగా ఉంటుంది. వాడికి తన యవ్వన బలం తిరిగి కలుగుతుంది.
26 And he shall pray to the Lord, and his prayer shall be accepted of him; he shall enter with a cheerful countenance, with a full expression [of praise]: for he will render to men [their] due.
౨౬వాడు దేవుణ్ణి బతిమాలుకుంటే ఆయన వాణ్ణి కటాక్షిస్తాడు. కాబట్టి వాడు ఆయన ముఖం చూసి సంతోషిస్తాడు. ఇలా ఆయన మనిషికి నిర్దోషత్వం దయచేస్తాడు.
27 Even then a man shall blame himself, saying, What kind of things have I done? and he has not punished me according to the full amount of my sins.
౨౭అప్పుడు వాడు మనుష్యుల ఎదుట సంతోషిస్తూ ఇలా అంటాడు. “నేను పాపం చేసి యథార్థమైన దాన్ని వక్రం చేశాను. అయినా నా పాపానికి తగిన ప్రతీకారం నాకు కలగలేదు.
28 Deliver my soul, that it may not go to destruction, and my life shall see the light.
౨౮కూపంలోకి దిగిపోకుండా నా ప్రాణాన్ని ఆయన విమోచించాడు. నా జీవం వెలుగును చూస్తున్నది.”
29 Behold, all these things, the Mighty One works in a threefold manner with a man.
౨౯చూడు, మానవుల కోసం దేవుడు రెండు సార్లు, మూడు సార్లు ఈ క్రియలన్నిటినీ చేస్తాడు.
30 And he has delivered my soul from death, that my life may praise him in the light.
౩౦కూపంలోనుండి వారిని మళ్ళీ రప్పించాలని, మనుషులు సజీవులకుండే వెలుగుతో వెలిగించబడాలని ఇలా చేస్తాడు.
31 Hearken, Job, and hear me: be silent, and I will speak.
౩౧యోబు, శ్రద్ధగా విను. నా మాట ఆలకించు. మౌనంగా ఉండు. నేను మాట్లాడతాను.
32 If thou hast words, answer me: speak, for I desire thee to be justified.
౩౨చెప్పవలసిన మాట ఏదైనా నీకుంటే నాకు జవాబు చెప్పు. మాట్లాడు, నువ్వు నీతిమంతుడవని నిరూపించుకో.
33 If not, do thou hear me: be silent, and I will teach thee.
౩౩అలా కాకుంటే నా మాట ఆలకించు. మౌనంగా ఉండు, నేను నీకు జ్ఞానం బోధిస్తాను.
