Job 33
1 Howbeit hear, Job, my words, and hearken to my speech.
എങ്കിലോ ഇയ്യോബേ, എന്റെ ഭാഷണം കേട്ടുകൊൾക; എന്റെ സകലവാക്കുകളും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക.
2 For behold, I have opened my mouth, and my tongue has spoken.
ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വായ്തുറക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വായിൽ എന്റെ നാവു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
3 My heart [shall be found] pure by [my] words; and the understanding of my lips shall meditate purity.
എന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ നേർ ഉച്ചരിക്കും. എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതു അവ പരമാർത്ഥമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
4 The Divine Spirit is that which formed me, and the breath of the Almighty that which teaches me.
ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം എനിക്കു ജീവനെ തരുന്നു.
5 If thou canst, give me an answer: wait therefore; stand against me, and I [will stand] against thee.
നിനക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ എന്നോടു പ്രതിവാദിക്ക; സന്നദ്ധനായി എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നുകൊൾക.
6 Thou art formed out of the clay as also I: we have been formed out of the same [substance].
ഇതാ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ഞാനും ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളവൻ; എന്നെയും മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
7 My fear shall not terrify thee, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
എന്റെ ഭീഷണി നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ഘനം നിനക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കയുമില്ല.
8 But thou hast said in mine ears, (I have heard the voice of thy words; ) because thou sayest, I am pure, not having sinned;
ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ നീ പറഞ്ഞതും നിന്റെ വാക്കു ഞാൻ കേട്ടതും എന്തെന്നാൽ:
9 I am blameless, for I have not transgressed.
ഞാൻ ലംഘനം ഇല്ലാത്ത നിർമ്മലൻ; ഞാൻ നിർദ്ദോഷി; എന്നിൽ അകൃത്യവുമില്ല.
10 Yet he has discovered a charge against me, and he has reckoned me as an adversary.
അവൻ എന്റെ നേരെ വിരുദ്ധങ്ങളെ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ തനിക്കു ശത്രുവായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.
11 And he has put my foot in the stocks, and has watched all my ways.
അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ ആമത്തിൽ ഇടുന്നു; എന്റെ പാതകളെ ഒക്കെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.
12 For how sayest thou, I am righteous, yet he has not hearkened to me? for he that is above mortals is eternal.
ഇതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറയാം: ഇതിൽ നീ നീതിമാൻ അല്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെക്കാൾ വലിയവനല്ലോ.
13 But thou sayest, Why has he not heard every word of my cause?
നീ അവനോടു എന്തിന്നു വാദിക്കുന്നു? തന്റെ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിന്നും അവൻ കാരണം പറയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
14 For when the Lord speaks once, or a second time,
ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ വട്ടം ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യൻ അതു കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.
15 [sending] a dream, or in the meditation of the night; (as when a dreadful alarm happens to fall upon men, in slumberings on the bed: )
ഗാഢനിദ്ര മനുഷ്യർക്കുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ, അവർ ശയ്യമേൽ നിദ്രകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ, സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ, രാത്രിദർശനത്തിൽ തന്നേ,
16 then opens he the understanding of men: he scares them with such fearful visions:
അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു; അവരോടുള്ള പ്രബോധനെക്കു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
17 to turn a man from unrighteousness, and he delivers his body from a fall.
മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മത്തിൽനിന്നു അകറ്റുവാനും പുരുഷനെ ഗർവ്വത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.
18 He spares also his soul from death, and [suffers] him not to fall in war.
അവൻ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെയും വാളാൽ നശിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ജീവനെയും കാക്കുന്നു.
19 And again, he chastens him with sickness on his bed, and the multitude of his bones is benumbed.
തന്റെ കിടക്കമേൽ അവൻ വേദനയാൽ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ ഇടവിടാതെ പോരാട്ടം ഉണ്ടു.
20 And he shall not be able to take any food, though his soul shall desire meat;
അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ജീവൻ അപ്പവും അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ സ്വാദുഭോജനവും വെറുക്കുന്നു.
21 until his flesh shall be consumed, and he shall shew his bones bare.
അവന്റെ മാംസം ക്ഷയിച്ചു കാണ്മാനില്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണ്മാനില്ലാതിരുന്ന അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ പൊങ്ങിനില്ക്കുന്നു.
22 His soul also draws nigh to death, and his life is in Hades.
അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ ശവക്കുഴിക്കും അവന്റെ ജീവൻ നാശകന്മാർക്കും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
23 Though there should be a thousand messengers of death, not one of them shall wound him: if he should purpose in his heart to turn to the Lord, and declare to man his fault, and shew his folly;
മനുഷ്യനോടു അവന്റെ ധർമ്മം അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥനായോരു ദൂതൻ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഉണ്ടെന്നുവരികിൽ
24 he will support him, that he should not perish, and will restore his body as [fresh] plaster upon a wall; and he will fill his bones with morrow.
അവൻ അവങ്കൽ കൃപ വിചാരിച്ചു: കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം ഇവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ ഒരു മറുവില കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയും
25 And he will make his flesh tender as that of a babe, and he will restore him among men in [his] full strength.
അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ദേഹം യൗവനചൈതന്യത്താൽ പുഷ്ടിവെക്കും; അവൻ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും.
26 And he shall pray to the Lord, and his prayer shall be accepted of him; he shall enter with a cheerful countenance, with a full expression [of praise]: for he will render to men [their] due.
അവൻ ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കും; അവൻ അവങ്കൽ പ്രസാദിക്കും; തിരുമുഖത്തെ അവൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കാണും; അവൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു അവന്റെ നീതിയെ പകരം കൊടുക്കും.
27 Even then a man shall blame himself, saying, What kind of things have I done? and he has not punished me according to the full amount of my sins.
അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പാടി പറയുന്നതു: ഞാൻ പാപം ചെയ്തു നേരായുള്ളതു മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു എന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
28 Deliver my soul, that it may not go to destruction, and my life shall see the light.
അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം രക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ ജീവൻ പ്രകാശത്തെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
29 Behold, all these things, the Mighty One works in a threefold manner with a man.
ഇതാ, ദൈവം രണ്ടു മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഇവയൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നു.
30 And he has delivered my soul from death, that my life may praise him in the light.
അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു കരേറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ.
31 Hearken, Job, and hear me: be silent, and I will speak.
ഇയ്യോബേ, ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കാം.
32 If thou hast words, answer me: speak, for I desire thee to be justified.
നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം പറവാനുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പറക; സംസാരിക്ക; നിന്നെ നീതീകരിപ്പാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്റെ താല്പര്യം.
33 If not, do thou hear me: be silent, and I will teach thee.
ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിൽ, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
