Job 24
1 But why have the seasons been hidden from the Lord,
Bangkong maw atuengnaw heh Athakasaipounge ni a hro hoeh vaw, ama kapanueknaw ni amamae ahnin hah a hmu thai awh hoeh vaw.
2 while the ungodly have passed over the bound, carrying off the flock with the shepherd?
Tangawn ni khori hah a puen awh. Saringnaw hah a lawp awh teh ama hanelah a paca awh.
3 They have led away, the ass of the fatherless, and taken the widow's ox for a pledge.
Naranaw e la hah a pâlei pouh awh teh, lahmai e maitotan hah lawkkamnae lah a pangen pouh awh.
4 They have turned aside the weak from the right way: and the meek of the earth have hidden themselves together.
Tami kavoutthoupnaw hah lamthung a phen sak awh. Ram thung e karoedengnaw hah pâkhueng teh, kâhro hoi ao awh.
5 And they have departed like asses in the field, having gone forth on my account according to their own order: his bread is sweet to [his] little ones.
Thingyeiyawn ramke dawk e la patetlah, rawca tawng hanelah, thaw tawk han lah a cei awh. Amamouh hoi a canaw hanelah ram ni ca hane rawca a tâco sak.
6 They have reaped a field that was not their own before the time: the poor have laboured in the vineyards of the ungodly without pay and without food.
Law dawk e saringnaw e rawca hah a pâkhueng teh, tamikathoutnaw e misurpaw hah a pâtung awh.
7 They have caused many naked to sleep without clothes, and they have taken away the covering of their body.
Khohna e awm laipalah karum khodai caici lah a i awh. Pâding nah kâkhu hane tawn awh hoeh.
8 They are wet with the drops of the mountains: they have embraced the rock, because they had no shelter.
Mon dawk kho ka rak e ni cupkâkasu lah a pâsin teh, a phui nahanelah lungsongpui a kângue awh.
9 They have snatched the fatherless from the breast, and have afflicted the outcast.
A na pa kaawm hoeh e camo teh, a manu e sanu hoi a pâphei sak. Karoedengnaw hah amamae hno hah a pâhung sak.
10 And they have wrongfully caused [others] to sleep without clothing, and taken away the morsel of the hungry.

11 They have unrighteously laid wait in narrow places, and have not known the righteous way.
Ayânaw im vah satui hah a kuen awh teh, misurpaw katin nalaihoi tui a kahran awh.
12 Who have cast forth [the] poor from the city and their own houses, and the soul of the children has groaned aloud.
Khopui thung vah hmenghmeng a due awh teh, a hramki awh. Hmâ a ca awh teh, hringnae hah a kaw awh. Hateiteh, Cathut ni a ratoum awh e hah pato hoeh.
13 Why then has he not visited these? forasmuch as they were upon the earth, and took no notice, and they knew not the way of righteousness, neither have they walked in their [appointed] paths?
Angnae hah taranlahoi tarankathawnaw hah ao. A lamthung hah panuek awh hoeh teh, angnae lamthung hah ngai awh hoeh.
14 But having known their works, he delivered them into darkness: and in the night one will be as a thief:
Tamikathetnaw ni angnae dawk hoi a thaw awh teh, karoedengnaw hoi kavoutthoupnaw hah a thei awh. Karum e tami tamru patetlah ao awh.
15 and the eye of the adulterer has watched [for] the darkness, saying, Eye shall not perceive me, and he puts a covering on his face.
Ayâ yu yonkhai hane mit ni khohmo a ngaihawi. Minhmai a hro teh, apini na hmawt mahoeh telah a pouk.
16 In darkness he digs through houses: by day they conceal themselves securely: they know not the light.
Kanîthun lah mitnout a ta e im hah karum lah a muk awh teh, angnae hah panuek awh hoeh.
17 For the morning is to them all [as] the shadow of death, for [each] will be conscious of the terror of the shadow of death.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahnimouh hanelah teh, amom hah duenae tâhlip patetlah ao. Tami ni panuek awh boipawiteh, takikatho poung e duenae tâhlip doeh ati awh han.
18 He is swift on the face of the water: let his portion be cursed on the earth; and let their plants be laid bare.
Tui hoi karanglah pâyo sak lah ao awh han. Talai dawkvah coe hane thoebo lah ao han. Hatdawkvah, apihai misur takha lamthung koe lah kamlang mahoeh.
19 [Let them be] withered upon the earth; for they have plundered the sheaves of the fatherless. (Sheol h7585)
Kawmpoi khumbei kâan e ni tadamtui a kamyawt sak. Hot patetvanlah, phuen ni yonnae ka sak e hah a payawp awh. (Sheol h7585)
20 Then is his sin brought to remembrance, and he vanishes like a vapour of dew: but let what he has done be recompensed to him, and let every unrighteous one be crushed like rotten wood.

21 For he has not treated the barren woman well, and has had no pity on a feeble woman.
Bangkongtetpawiteh, cakaroe e hah a rektap teh, lahmainu hanelah hnokahawi lah awmhoeh.
22 And in wrath he has overthrown the helpless: therefore when he has arisen, [a man] will not feel secure of his own life.
Hateiteh, Cathut ni athaonae hoi, tami athakaawme taminaw e lamthung hah a raphoe pouh. Hring hane kamcenglah a panue hoeh nakunghai, Ama ni a thaw sak.
23 When he has fallen sick, let him not hope to recover: but let him perish by disease.
A kângue hane a poe teh, hawvah a kâhat sak. A mit teh ahnimae lamthung dawk ao.
24 For his exaltation has hurt many; but he has withered as mallows in the heat, or as an ear of corn falling off of itself from the stalk.
Vai touh hoi tawm lah ao teh, hat hnukkhu hoi a kahma awh. Rahnoum sak la ao teh, ayânaw patetvanlah a kâhmo van han. Cavui patetlah a ke awh.
25 But if not, who is he that says I speak falsely, and will make my words of no account?
Hot patetlah awm hoeh pawiteh, apini maw na laithoe a tithai han. Ka dei e heh bang hoeh e lah ka coung sak thai e na o awh maw telah a ti.
